Oh I forgot they have some great orange and passion fruit, lemonade and a watermelon refreshing drinks. One thing that sucked was they didnt have any good hot sauce to put on the food. Tabasco and cholula was all they had. I would prefer something more authentic. I'd give this place 3.5 stars. I drive all the way to the city of Stockton to get some great greek food. But I would give 4 stars for the lamb shank and 2-3 stars for the grilled and chicken and beef kabob and rotisserie chicken sliced from the spit.

This place was AMAZING! I don't but I had a great experience! I had ordered their garlic chicken sandwich, which was HUGE and very delicious! I recommend this to all! There was a slow down when receiving my food because it was busy lunch hour, so in return they gave me a free appetizer! Boy, so I wish I could have ordered that appetizer, it was hummus with cucumbers and tomatoes and olives and warm pita. The worker even came and checked up on me, to see if i needed anything. I really loved the fulfilling food, you get what you pay for! Those who don't eat Mediterranean may have trouble with the menu, but the cashier will help you out to pick the best item. I went to Crest Cafe the other day for lunch for the first time. Even though the restaurant seemed a bit overwhelmed the food was very good. I have walked pasted the restaurant every day for the past year and finally gave it a chance. The Garlic Chicken was awesome, the chicken was juicy and the rice was perfectly cooked. I have gone to other Greek restaurants in the area and the chicken is usually dry. Crest Cafe is far superior over their competitors. Best of all the food was served fresh and quick, two things that are very much appreciated on an hour long lunch break. I'm glad I finally gave one of Sacramento's best kept secrets a chance. If I can give them no stars I would. My friend highly recommend this place and so when I did come in with her today at 3pm it was empty I assumed I would get prompt service. We decided to get the medaterrainian nachos which was really good. But I'm eating and I'm like hold where is our food???? I had to get up twice to ask where my food was. The excuse was it takes 15 mins to BBQ the chicken bullshit I'm a cook myself. I parked on the street thinking an hr is plenty time for lunch. I got up told them ur taking too long make it to go I have to move my car. Totally pissed n the food I got not worth it !!! read more

Have been a regular at Crest Cafe for almost 3 years. Food is no doubt very good. But the service has gone from bad to worse. Today, second time in a row of ordering, my order number was passed and orders after me were being served. When asked the server, she started dumping my order in the To Go Box without acknowledging the fact that I had been waiting for over 15 minutes. The food dumped in was half the quantity and was something sitting on the counter. When asked for sauce, I was given the look of customer from hell. Not going back there for sure. disappointed The ground hamburger was good, the salad looked old.I didn't eat the salad because of that. The portions where small. My wife had the chicken on panini bread and it didn't seen to be put together that well. The pieces where small and spread out over the bread, and did not cover most of it.
