I tried putting on myself but experienced difficulties. The nice woman behind counter said she would check with jeweler to see if can make it work.... 5 min later she returned and handed me my watch. How much do I owe you I asked? Nothing she replied.. We hope to see you again. That's the kind of service that builds customers. I have no problem recommending this place.

I have nothing but negative things to say about this jeweler. It took over two months (after the…read moreproposal happened) to receive my actual ring due to it not being ready in time for the proposal. When working with Delilah we would be given one answer in the store, but when we would call or email for an update on my ring we were told a completely different answer every time. Once I finally received my ring I tried it on in the store and it was still very loose. I was assured it was resized... I took it to another jeweler to get a second opinion. It was NEVER resized and the other jeweler informed me the stone setting Mark Peters put on my ring was not proportional and was risking the integrity of my ring. Clearly Mark Peter and his staff are unknowledgeable when it comes to designing engagement rings. The amount of miscommunication across the staff is ridiculous and Mark Peter refuses to take accountability. The store's business plan needs a revamp, or better yet this jeweler just needs to go out of business.

I had a great experience working with James at New York Jewelers. He is incredibly kind, friendly,…read moreand approachable, which makes the whole process comfortable and enjoyable. James consistently does an excellent job and clearly cares about helping his customers find exactly what they're looking for. He also provides very timely service and is always responsive and helpful whenever I have questions. It's rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such a genuine, welcoming attitude. I truly couldn't ask for a better salesperson and would highly recommend working with James if you visit New York Jewelers. Thank you James!!!

My go-to store for jewelry repairs and watch battery change-outs closed, so I decided to stop by…read moreNew York Jewelers as their business hours during weekdays are generous, and the location is convenient. I had a thin, gold-plated necklace with beads that had broken when it was taken off of the card that held it. The repair that was needed would most likely involve some form of soldering the two pieces together, and I had an amount in mind that I would be wiling to pay given that this is more of a "fun" piece and not fine jewelry. When I walked into New York Jewelers, I was promptly greeted and shown upstairs, to the repair area. The woman behind the counter took the necklace and consulted with a gentleman in the back. I had errands nearby to run, but decided to stick around to get an estimate of time and cost. Initially, I was told this could not be done, but it turned out that the two pieces were somehow able to be soldered together. The cherry on top of this experience is that all of this was done at no charge! The woman who helped me said that after the fusing procedure, a slight bump could be seen between the gold plated portion and a bead. What she was pointing out was imperceptible to my eye. I was so pleased with the level of service, speed, and professionalism that I will be back here to get a battery put in my watch and for any other repairs when the time comes.
