Kat at the Montclair location was able to clean the port out in 2 minutes, and all it came down to was just built up lint. I was charged NOTHING for the repair, which Kat said was fortunate, because replacing the USB-C port is supposedly only done on these devices by replacing the whole circuit board, which would have been very expensive (Yikes, thanks Google...).
