Second visit to The Melt. I brought my husband and came back for the commentary burger or sandwich offerings with the App. Saturday afternoon and the place was packed! Nice to see this with a new business! My husband had the Bacon/BBQ Burger Melt (single) and I tried the Crispy (not spicy) Chicken Sandwich. We were happy we skipped the fried cuz their sandwiches are very large. I barely finished the chicken, definitely a shareable! My husband's very favorite part of the meal, the pickle! Their fries look so good! Their price points for their large portions ate good very good! We dined-in (inside) and tables were clean. Our food came out hot and tasty. I noticed they were even bringing out food to tables, very nice touch! There was a server passing around a tray of cookie samples, warm gooey chocolate chip cookies, very good! Service was great! Jaylal took our order and she was very pleasant. I also saw Rae (Racheta) that served me on their opening day and she said hi! The workers are killing it at this location!! My friend fell in love with this place and recommended it. He is 100% correct. I want to highlight their amazing soda options- I never heard of Hangar 25 soda but as a person who doesn't like Diet Coke.. their Diet Cola is gooood. But my favorite is the black cherry. The flavors are so good and the carbonation is perfectly chrispy as it should be. Their chicken is juicy and the spicy version has a good spice to it. I would get again along with their Mac and cheese. It's a perfect comfort food combo to order at the end of a long week. I'm a huge pickle fan and these pickles are very good. Only thing that could maybe beat it is claussen. But that's my very specific taste haha I would definitely recommend the business get some umbrellas for their outside patio because literally on a hot day the sun beats down hard. But their inside has plenty of seating too! Parking is pretty plentiful but if it's busy you might have to circle if you come at a peak lunch or dinner hour. Love that they are open to midnight! I can see this become a regular spot for my friends and I. Super excited they have a great team kicking off this soft launch. The business chose wisely. A worker even gave us a free sample of cookies. And they were indeed fantastic. Come by and give the Melt a try!!! read more

The double bacon burger was juicy, and the bacon was nice and crispy. The steak and cheese sandwich, however, was disappointing because it didn't have very many slices of beef. The milkshake tasted great, but it melted very quickly. The Parmesan fries were delicious and well-seasoned. The chocolate chip cookies were very delicious. Definitely will get that again. I will stuck with burgers at this place. Friendly staff. Inside and outdoor dinning are available. Hard to find parking if you come during dinner hours. read more

Came in for "Friends and Family Day " 7/7. The experience was amazing. Great customer service, and the food was fresh! The fries had the perfect amount of seasoning, bacon ,cheese,and Ranch! The salad was definitely something new it had bits of grilled cheese as croutons. I ordered the Wagyu/Angus Burger, garlic fries, and a cookies‑and‑cream milkshake was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We came in for The Melt- Long Beach soft opening. We ordered the original melt burger, patty melt with sweet potatoe fries and ranch bacon fries which I finished right away. The meat on the patty melt and burger was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted good and fresh. They also gave us cookies for that sweet fix. Service was fast, staff are friendly and welcoming. They should have named it Soggy Burger. I like a juicy burger but this was ridiculous. I had to create a layer of napkins just to catch all the drips coming off this thing. There was a lot of cheese but it was tasteless. Nothing like the American cheese you get on a Big Mac or In-n-Out burger. I added bacon and grilled onions. The bacon wasn't crisp and the rest was flavorless. The fries have the skin on, which I like, but they were the usual industrial fries, not freshly cut. I really had high hopes for this place but I'm not a fan. read more

We visited The Melt last Tuesday and the food was so delicious! The restaurant was clean and easy to get around. I got the BBQ Bacon Meltburger with Garlic Parmesan Fires. The burger was so delicious and the BBQ sauce had a great flavor to it. It was easy to get the ketchup and ranch as well! The big surprise for me was seeing the soda fountain machine. We were fortunate enough to go to the soft opening of this amazing little place. From the moment we walked yp to the entrance, everyone on staff made us feel welcome. The place is surprisingly nice inside with plenty of tables. Next week they start offering delivery. I don't normally go to burger places, but in this case I'm glad we did. They exceeded our expectations over and over. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and that there were options to make changes according our palate. We both had grilled chicken "burgers." We were able to have the crispy onions on top replaced by carmelized onions. The chicken was moist and perfectly prepared. The mushrooms, onions and cheese were great. We opted for the sauce on the side - thankfully. It was too sweet for my tastebuds. I liked the potato bun the sandwich came on although it kind of collapsed with the juice of the mushrooms and onions. The sweet potato fries were also delicious and there was no oil we could see or taste. Awesome! We also tried a side salad and loved the balsamic dressing. When my husband mentioned the croutons seemed old. the manager assured us they were just made but went above and beyond by bringing out a fresh batch. OMG we totally loved them. They're like mini grill cheese bites. Also we had a chance to taste their awesome tomato basil bisque soup. We were ready to roll ourselves out-stuffed. Honestly, it was a lot of food. Then again, Ray surprised us with a taste of their awesome Chocolate chip cookies. Fabulous! The two managers Faith and Ray were really attentive as was the staff. Went in on Tuesday 7/7. From the beginning the greeting managers were great, young lady that took our order was smiling, answering our questions about the food and patiently waiting for us to order.
