GREAT WINGS! GREAT PRICES! Absolutely love their wings! Customer service was a 10/10! Mom & pop place and they put love & care in their food!

I've probably driven by here a bunch of times and never realized that this has just been sitting in a random business center. Really good old style deli with sandwiches and more. They serve breakfast and Korean food which at some point I'll need to try out. They also have and assortment of chips, pastries and drinks for sale in their fridge or they have fountain sodas. I dined in today and ordered a pastrami on rye bread. There are a few tables inside and during the lunch rush has other customers also dining in or waiting to take their food to go. Service is very prompt didn't feel like I waited long at all for my sandwich to come out. At about $12 I will say price could be maybe $1-$2 lower for the size but maybe that's just things costing more now a days. I wasn't disappointed in my sandwich the pastrami itself was nice and tender, a little on the salty side but with the bread and accompanying carrots and pickle spear and pickles in the sandwich it wasn't overwhelming. I devoured my sandwich. The cashier was super friendly and had a smooth operation. Even with a bit of a lunch rush they were getting orders, shouting needs to the kitchen and playing food. If you need a quick bite or work in the area, definitely stop by.

The quality was great for these items. Very fresh and good taste for each item. The ambiance is quiet and intimate. At the day and time we went there was no one inside which was a bit sad to see as they are a smaller business it seemed like. The prices weren't awful but probably only think keeping me from putting 5/5. It's worth the price for me but it's not the cheapest options available. It is well worth it however. Service was fine, polite cashier.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, since I drive by it very often, and I am so glad I finally did. The deli itself had plenty of seats and tables, so I can imagine it being easy to get a seat but I ordered everything for takeout. Upon walking in, I was greeted with the nicest cashier and made sure any questions I had about their unique menu (classic deli + korean comfort food) were answered. I definitely got carried away with the options and ordered a good amount of food: Club Sandwich Pastrami on Rye Bulgogi Kimbap Fries Yukgaejang Honey Soy Garlic Wings Everything was honestly really tasty! The deli items were just classically good sandwiches. The korean food items were also amazing. Our favorites were the soup and wings. The wings were perfectly crispy and coated with the best honey soy garlic sauce we've had. The yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) wasn't too spicy and had a deep but clean beef flavor - I was told they have this cooking for like ~8hrs. Anyways, I definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants classic deli sandwiches or classic korean comfort food.

Don't be scared of the diversity of food here. They know what they are doing through and through. Working the fryer like a "champ"! Perfect crispness on the wings and the wontons are a perfect crunch to moist pillow like insides - I don't even know it was just good. Quality of the meat on the wings and the plate was wonderful. Great random place to stumble upon to with a cushy dining area too!

Headed to meet friends in the area with my kid and wanted a quick deli sandwich but not from a chain place. Found this establishment and honestly from the outside almost didn't go in as it is a little run down looking. But glad we do The inside was very clean and lots of people eating at the time. We ordered sandwiches which they can toast and have to say it was very good. Looks a lot like what you might just make at home as this is a little mom and pop place , but service was excellent and the smoothie I got was large , good and reasonable price. Want to than this establishment for they friendliness and simple and excellent sandwiches

What a great place! I came here for the korean fried chicken! Its some of the best i ever had. I been passing by here for years and never knew about it! They carry a big menu. I was just thinking sandwiches but no they have ALOT more. They make soo many things from bulgogi dishes, sandwiches, fried chicken and many breakfast plates all the way to lunch/dinner here! Peter the guy behind the counter is very nice and always checking with guest on how everything tasted! I got the korean sweet and spicy and man they were excellent and i'm sure the other flavor they offer are just as good! I even came back the next day for another round. They have a clean bathroom which is a plus. Definitely give this place a try. Food Rating: Korean sweet and spicy chicken 9.1/10 Excellent flavor

Once again I'm visiting Champ's Deli, I came to get their delicious Spicy Pork Bulgogi bowl and their Korean Sweet and spicy wings, as always I was greeted with a smile and right felt like if I was part of their regulars, the casual atmosphere makes this the perfect place for quick bite or to take home. The food is prepare to order, always fresh and hot. If you are in the area stop by and let them wow you with their variety of dishes and flavors.

Wowzerssssss completely obsessed with the tuna sandwich , like I've been here 4 times in two weeks ! Ima definitely a tuna connoisseur and the way they make their tuna here is *chefs kiss* . I've constantly passed by this location for years and decided to stop by in a whim while craving a tuna sandwich after 6 . Decided to take it to go and YUM they throw some like type of relish in the tuna and it's just so good , I always pair it with the French roll but they have a selection of breads to choose from. Looking through the menu they have plenty of options this is like a deli/diner/Asian mix of items as I've seen they also serve breakfast in what seems the morning , variety of sandwiches, and what I seen like teriyaki options and Korean items such as fried Korean chicken items ! They have a variety of drink options as well. Everyone here has been so nice it seems family owned and so far have gotten the same people and they are always sweet and attentive! There's definitely lots of space in here and whenever i go in it's not too busy , it's located in a business area of signal hill along side other business , you can't miss it as it's right smack on the corner & there's definitely parking up front !

If you look up 'hidden gem' in the dictionary, you'll probably find a picture of Champ's Deli Restaurant. I've passed by this spot countless times without giving it a second thought, but now that I've discovered it, I only wish I'd come sooner. They offer a wide variety of dishes, ranging from classic deli fare to American staples, some Mexican options, and even a good selection of Korean dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and will gladly make suggestions if you're having trouble deciding. On my first visit, I tried the Champ's Cheeseburger--a bacon cheeseburger topped with avocado and a fried egg. It was as messy as it was delicious. I made it a combo, which came with crinkle-cut fries that were perfectly seasoned--crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Truly, they were spot on. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a hole-in-the-wall spot--they're not trying to impress with décor because they know the food speaks for itself. Champ's definitely lives up to the hype, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I've driven by this small deli so many times but never knew it existed. Finally stopped by last Saturday and am so glad I did. They have regular deli food, which I have yet to try, but we ordered their Korean fried chicken and will be coming back for more! Great flavor, great crispness, and service was wonderful!

So glad I went to try Geeko Chicken inside Champ's Deli in Signal Hill (on Willow just west of Redondo) today! This is a Korean family-owned deli that started serving KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and other Korean dishes such as Kimbap, Topokki, Omelette and Bulgogi Burritos) back in February this year. I love KFC and have been to different restaurants in Cerritos and Buena Park. Let me tell you Geeko's Sweet and Spicy Wings are better than Pelicana's (chain from Korea)! So flavorful and crunchy! They are made fresh-to-order and take about 20 minutes so call ahead if you know what you want. It's Asian-people spicy and not too sweet. Perfect with their house-made ranch sauce! I ordered 8pcs which came with 5 drums and 3 flats. I also tried their Spicy Bulgogi Kimbap. So much better than those frozen things at Trader Joe's! It comes with a side of their house-made Gochujang Ranch. Excellent sauce! Also got their Rolled Omelette with spam and mozzarella. Dressed with ketchup but I dipped mine in that yummy Gochujang sauce and ate it with their house-made pickled radish. Tastes like what you get in a banh mi sandwich. Very refreshing. So happy I don't have to drive 30 minutes plus for KFC anymore! They are open everyday except Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Owner Peter is super nice. He is also the Chef and created the wings and sauces himself. I am definitely going back to try his favorite wings (Original) and the Lemon Pepper (dry rub). Also want to try their Topokki. If you like Shlap Muan I think you will love Geeko's wings as well. P.S. I asked if they have Japchae and Kimchi Fried Rice. They said they would consider it. Support small business!!!

The server (owner?) asked if we wanted cheese and Cole slaw, and that's how we got it. The sandwich was big enough to share so if the sandwich seems pricey, consider sharing. Although on a hungry day, I could probably eat it all with no problem. Dilly's has a fairly decent amount of craft beers on draft. I wasn't in a beer-drinking mood so I didn't look too closely at the list. I love it when restaurants support local brewers, and this looks like the kind of place that would do just that.

Heard about Dilly's Sandwiches having the most unique rotating set of beers on tap in Long Beach,…read moreso had to come to try it. The taste portions were very reasonably priced, allowing to create your own flight (or two). Specifically scheduled an early afternoon to come to the Lakewood Village neighborhood of East Long Beach. My wife found an angled parking spot right in front. It wasn't too crowded inside and the four of us found easy, comfortable seating in the brightly decorated dining room. One places and pays for the order at the counter, with the proprietors being very friendly and engaged. They brought out our beers after the pour, and the sandwiches a bit after (since each is individually carefully made). Beers: - Northern Lager [Oxbow] - ($5 for 13oz pour) was clean, crisp and a hoppy aftertaste. - Infinite Hotel [The Wayfinder X Bierstadt] (marked as $3 but charged $4) is a rice lager and was the favorite of the group for its drinkability - Winteruption [JK's Farmhouse] ($3) is a cider with very strong maple syrup overtones: never tasted anything like it. - Hyper Paradise [Rare Barrel] ($4) - saison and ale with mango and passion fruit. I liked this beer very much. - A Place Like Home [Pure Project] ($3) - Nitro poured Extra Special Bitter. - Double Negative [Grimm] ($4) - Imperial Stout, which I really enjoyed. - Amongst Friends [Sante Adairius] ($4) - a cherry saison, unusual and was glad to sample. A lot of work was put into creating this flight, with the careful pours and markings to make sure I knew what was what. I really appreciated the opportunity to sample all of these on-tap. In terms of the food, the group as a whole really liked them, though I guess I wasn't as impressed with my two samples, mainly because it used non-descript deli meat in OK quantities, heating them up when necessary. Hot Beef ($18) was my wife's, and it had been griddled with cheese to form a crispy lattice. The Ham and Cheese ($16) was served cold and had potato chips inside which my mother-in-law liked (saving the other half for home). Our friend and I split the Hot Turkey ($16) and Pastrami No 19 style ($20). The pastrami meat was piled high and the cole slaw was crisp and good, but was served cold (should have read the description more closely) and mediocre rye bread broke apart quickly. The Hot Turkey ($16) was served on ciabatta that had been grill pressed for a long time, creating a wonderful crust as good as any sandwich I've had. But the filling was OK, using standard turkey breast slices from a loaf and an ok stuffing...using hand carved turkey would have made a big difference here, but understand it's hard to do. Strangely, even though it's a pickle adorned shop, each sandwich just came with an ordinary pickle spear, what one would expect from a diner, not a deli. And the prices are on the higher side, especially with no sides and most not being particularly ginormous. But I loved how each sandwich used different breads, and how some of them were toasted very well. And having the opportunity to try these unique beers made it a really good experience.

It's located in Bixby Knolls, surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries, yet it's the only true wine bar right there. Honestly, Long Beach has more wine bars than most surrounding areas, and since the South Bay is packed with breweries, if you're tired of beer this is your sign to switch it up. You will not regret it. The food menu has cheese boards, salads and sandwiches, and everything I've had here has been delicious. The cheese boards are better than sex. There is seating indoors and outdoors. It's minimal, but somehow we always manage to find a table. The service is consistently great and the owner is wonderful. She will be leaving soon and she will absolutely be missed, but what she has built here will definitely be cherished. The new owners fell in love with the place, so you can expect it to be well taken care of and to remain just as charming.
