Enjoying our time on the LBC! Good eating!

From the moment I drove into the parking lot I could smell the fried chicken. I knew right away that I had to get that. I was torn between the chicken and the burger! I lucked out today! I got the lunch box(which had both) and my wife got the B.L.T.A. The chicken was hand breaded and the taste proved I chose right. The burger was tasty with fresh ingredients. The fries were good also. I really liked the atmosphere! Though it was small, I didn't feel like I was crowded against the wall. The murals were nice. I felt like I got a taste of Long beach in the best way. I shall return because I have friends out here! Long live Eat Fantastic! The name says it all!

Been coming here for years and I feel like it's gotten even better as time goes on. As far as fast food goes while it might seem a little bit pricier, believe me it is worth it, the portions are huge and the ingredients are fresh and good. I got a breakfast burrito, a chicken wrap, and an order of fries and was able to make 4 meals out of that so well worth it. The breakfast burrito was very tasty and they give u several salsa options. The ranch is excellent, and the chicken wrap was even good the next day. The murals and everything both inside and outside are absolutely wonderful makes me smile everytime! The employees are very friendly and patient.

Eat fantastic has been such a wonderful addition to 4th street! The food is good and reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I like to get the lunch box to share and it's the perfect lil meal. It comes with a hamburger, 2 chicken tenders, fries, and a chocolate cookie for $12. They also have breakfast options which we liked as well. The building itself is also really cool because there are fun murals painted both inside and outside. Staff has always been friendly and the seating area has been clean every time I've come. I'm really happy this is a good local option for some quick, yummy, and cheap food!

First thing is they are quick and friendly. The food satisfies every time! Especially those French fries-big and thick and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The cheeseburger rocks and purchased w spicy tenders with raw sauce as The Lunch Box combo you gotta a meal even the dog liked! (No tenders for Boomer, just some burger and a couple fries. I ain't sharing!

I still like the food and the friendly service I have received when I stop to pick up orders to deliver for UBER eats, but I dont think I will no longer. One thing I know about good customer service is you should own up to the place of business making a mistake if for one you are representing the business. I stop in for a free milkshake from a text I received for my bday. The person in charge said they no longer are honoring the bday reward. If this is the case they should remove the text and remove it from the app. This is misleading. I have screenshots of the app. I still treated myself with a milkshake. Also its not about the money part. Its the customer service that was provided. I would have apologized. Honored it and reassure the customer this issue with the rewards would be brought up to upper management. I dont know what her problem was ir is, but working in any business. One shall be professional about it.

It was my first time here and I ordered the lunch box for take out! I got the chicken tenders with cheeseburger and fries with a side of honey mustard. The chicken tenders were super crispy and the cheeseburger was so juicy. The lunch box was super solid id definitely get it again. The service was fast and the ambiance of the place was casual and had decent seating for a quick bite.

Rewards gives you free French toast when you sign up :) Vote for them for the Golden Burger Award August 3-10, 2025 for the best burger in town! I love Eat Fantastic. Great chicken tenders and breakfast - pancakes and French toast short stacks just $6 And breakfast is served all day! I'll be coming often. I do miss the old spot at 2nd & pch but this one has a good amount of seating too and has cool Long Beach artwork on the walls. But this one has a drive thru! Amazing :) I don't think they serve alcohol at this location Water/drink machine behind the counter kind of stinks (they have me a 5 oz water cup) Coffee less than $3 Lunch box includes burger, chicken tenders, a cookie and a drink for $12 Oh and sorry to the owner for when I almost jumped in his car at the last location when I was manic. I'm better now :)

We stopped by the drive thru and ordered from a brightly lit menu. I shared the G.O.A.T combo with fries and strawberry milkshake for $22. They got our meal together quickly, and let me tell you - the bag was heavy when they handed it over. The double patty is super meaty, and the onions add to the flavor. The strawberry shake was my favorite, very smooth. It's a quick and casual fast food joint that's great if you need to stop by for a quick bite.

A true how much to Long Beach celebrities. Cameron Diaz. Sublime. Snoop Dogg. Behind me to my right was fluffy.

Eat Fantastic appeared to have moved from their marina Pacifica location and bought this place up on fourth Street and Junipero. I went to order burger and fries and was happily surprised by the results. And not only do they have a very clean restaurant with paintings of famous Long Beach celebrities, but they also have very good food. A juicy double hamburger and fresh cut fries. It was all good from start to finish. They have very clean bathrooms that you have to get buzzed in for, and they were very fast getting my food out. I mean really fast. My fries were done before I even asked for the restroom. If they keep this up, they can count on me to come all the time for good food. I'm glad that it isn't far from where I live.

JUNK FEES for take out? I'll never return to Eat Fantastic and posting this on all socials.

This place is amazing. It used to be a golden burger and good bye and good riddance. EAT FANTASTIC truly was a fantastic meal. Had the fantastic burger with bacon and avocado. Tried the lunch box with a burger fries tenders and cookie. Tried the lemonades, one of the best strawberry lemonades I've tasted ever!!!! The art is a vibe there is a lot of seats honestly this is a very nice and bright new addition to the Long Beach community. Worth a try, ALL THE FOOD WAS GOOD. Service was quick and staff was polite. Come on by and try it is my suggestion, they also got a breakfast menu I'll be back to try.

I felt like Remy from ratatouille when I had a fry in one hand & a spicy fried chicken in the other. The spicy fried chicken is packed with seasoning. I like to shake some off for my fries. I have no idea how they're making these fries but they are delicious. It's so soft, pillowy, creamy, & melts in your mouth. It's how I imagine fried mashed potatoes to taste.

It's taken me a while but I am finally reviewing this spot in my hood that I and the entire neighborhood was waiting on pins and needles to open. Let me begin by saying that I have a significant number of friends who miss the prior business at this location: Golden Bowl. I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE! I am ecstatic that this superior eatery took its place. The service here is great! I'd say 90% of folks who work here, go above and beyond to provide exceptional service and this includes the owners that normally work here in the trenches as well. The decor is great and is really a love letter to Long Beach. The walls are painted with Snoop and other Long Beach locals with some fame attached to their faces. Most importantly, I am definitely a fan of the food and have tried many items that include: the Breakfast Burrito, Cheeseburger, Fantastic Burger (cheeseburger with avocado), Pastrami, BLTA, The Club, Chicken Tenders (spicy), Chicken Wrap, Cobb Salad, French Fries, Onion Rings, Zucchini Sticks, and Chili Cheese Fries. So basically almost the entire menu lol. Everything is good and I've ordered all these items more than once. I do have to say that I think they have the best onion rings I've ever had! And the Lunch Box (Hamburger, two chicken tenders, fries, cookie, and a sauce of your choice), is the best meal special in town! They have a great rewards program and i definitely consider myself a regular. One knock I have is minor but with Greek ownership, I wish they had a Gyro. This menu item would fit perfectly here and I would be oh so happy. So glad there's affordable food on 4th street now and I will continue to be a regular here and support this business.

Ask the Community - Eat Fantastic

Does Eat Fantastic have any vegetarian options?

Not too many options but you can order a grilled cheese, waffles, pancakes, french toast, a plain salad, fries (with or without cheese)... hope this helps a little bit!

Does this location offer vegan options? I called and they said there are no impossible or beyond patty options...which seems like a huge mistake in LB.

Eat Fantastic does not have impossible or beyond burger patties. Don't think they have any vegan cheese either.

A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Friendly staff (which comes with occasional karaoke renditions from the Bluetooth speakers), a chill vibe and outstanding drinks make this a top spot in the area for hardcore coffee lovers. I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. TLDR; It's expensive, and not worth the routine visit, but worth the one-time stop in to experience the festivities. The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie is somehow even more decorated and extravagant than you'd expect from a seasonal pop-up. The line looks long outside, as there are no reservations, but it moves quickly since they hold everybody to a pretty strict 2-hour time limit. The drinks are good, the cups are cute, and everyone is festive. It's an all-around fun experience.  I think because of this, you do pay a premium price tag for food and drinks that are just good or okay. I think it's something that is worth the visit if you've never been and you enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit. I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. It't not a pillar of the food scene if you're a tourist, but it is a good, late night spot if you work in the industry nearby. They have a great late-night menu with a killer smash burger.

The pancakes had a brown butter topping that he really liked, didn't even need syrup. Sausages didn't seem homemade but were very tasty. I ordered the Eggs Noni ($18), which is a version of Eggs Florentine, plus a side of bacon. The Eggs Noni came on two pretty hard small sourdough discs. I had difficulty cutting through the crust with a knife. There is a lot of cayenne in their hollandaise sauce, not my favorite version. The thick slice of tomato was the highlight. Side of bacon $6 for two measly pieces - overcooked and too crunchy. I could tell the bacon would have been good if it was more on the meaty/chewy side. This came with a potato pancake which was like mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and then fried. Service was okay, I think because it was pretty busy. They may need more staff to help the servers with drink refills and to check in more frequently. Lastly, our table was very wobbly and we had to fix it with sugar packets otherwise our drinks would have toppled.

The menu has a ton of really detailed options, each drink with its own depth. The menu changes seasonally but what doesn't change is the smoked old fashioned - a must-order. They smoke your drink in a glass container using applewood chips; it's quite a show and it also does make the drink much more enjoyable. Ask the bartender and they can also help guide you to a drink - I've done it a couple of times and always pleasantly surprised. Next up, the food! The hummus was very flavorful and paired with an amazing fluffy pita bread. The truffle fries were solid but the plate was HUGE, definitely needs a friend to share. The Nashville wings are the star of the show. I cannot stress this enough, this is worth a DRIVE for. The seasoning really does remind you of Howlin' Rays (the highest compliment) and the chicken is extremely crispy yet insanely juicy. The pickles and ranch that it comes with pairs so well. Do note that they are tossing it in pork fat, which enhances the depth but also makes it a little greasy at the end. I also wished they'd warn you this and offer to order it without it; especially for those who don't eat pork or for those trying to cut some calories. There's a happy hour menu too!!! It's right in Belmont and one neighborhood away from the water. Great date place and bar too. 2026 update: This breaks my heart. The menu has changed, the chef has definitely changed and service has unfortunately gone down. First off they cut a good portion of the menu and the physical design is not the easiest to read. (that's not really a problem tbh but it's something to note) What is the problem are the following: Ordering food for 3 took 20 minutes for servers to come, get food, and water + drinks we ordered. food took almost 45 minutes to arrive at the table. I get the kitchen makes a lot of stuff but this is crazy. at this point we were here for over an hour without eating. Not only were the orders wrong but also food portions were noticeably smaller. Credit due here, they fixed that (ofc which takes an extra time). Final straw here: To get someone's attention, get the bill, then for them to come get the bill, pay, and give us our cards back took: TWENTY MINUTES. Just to pay. tldr: food prices went up, staff not attentive, food still decent but different chef. Food is noticeably saltier. This place is still cute and servers as a great bar but oh my gosh has it gone down hill. Full context half the restaurant was empty. we are so disappointed. this place used to be great :(
