Delicious burritos i came here for a few times i really loved it ! And they're not small

Eat fantastic has one of my favorite breakfast burritos in Long Beach. I opt for the chorizo burrito, and I ask for extra red salsa instead of the green salsa. For the price I think it's one of the more affordable burritos these days... not to mention it's delicious. I also always order a side of the zucchini sticks .... My personal favorite zucchini sticks I've ever had. They're fried perfectly and have this fire seasoning on it. And the ranch is chefs kiss. I also highly recommend the box - comes with a burger, fries, chicken tenders, a cookie, and a drink for only $14!! One of the best deals in Long Beach or LA HANDS DOWN My favorite thing about eat fantastic is that it's made fresh so your food always comes out hot. It's never that busy, so you'll never really have to wait too long for your food. There's music playing, but the chairs are not that comfortable for sitting so it's more of a "grab your meal, eat, and leave" kinda place. I used to really like Eat Fantastic, so this one was disappointing. I've had the box meal a bunch of times over the years. It used to be $10, then $12 and now it's $14. Burger, fries, two tenders and a chocolate chip cookie. Right from the start, this visit felt off. The guy at the counter wasn't technically rude, but the energy was rough. Deadpan stare, barely any interaction and very much giving "I do not want to be here." Meanwhile I could hear another employee working drive-thru and he sounded great with customers, so it definitely wasn't everyone. The dining area was the bigger problem. Three open trash bins sat right next to the condiment station and that whole area smelled awful. I had seen another review mention flies and they were not BSing. Flies were sitting on the tables and blinds throughout the dining area. Not exactly appetite-building. Food came out fast though. The burger was the biggest letdown because this thing used to be money. Seasoned, juicy and properly cooked. This time the patty had some visible sear, but the flavor was giving boiled ground beef. No noticeable salt. No seasoning. Dry. The rest of the burger was doing its job. Thousand Island was nice and tangy. Pickles had a good snap. Veggies tasted fresh. Bun was solid. The patty just gave them nothing. The fries were excellent. I always ask them to toss the fries in the same seasoning they use on the spicy tenders because that's how I like to get them. It's not very spicy, but the seasoning itself is bomb -- salty, savory and perfect on hot crispy fries. I went with the spicy tenders this time. They aren't very spicy either, but that seasoning works really well with the breading. They've pretty much always been on the dry side every time I've had them, but I still like them. The crust and seasoning do a lot of the heavy lifting. The honey mustard has slipped too. It used to be thicker and creamier. Now it's noticeably watery. They also forgot the chocolate chip cookie that comes with the box meal. I wasn't going to eat it anyway because it's usually way too sweet for me, but if I paid for the full meal, I still expect the full meal. A few months back I had the LA Staple Fries and they were insanely good. Tender brisket pastrami piled over chili cheese fries, rich, salty, meaty and exactly the kind of food that makes you want to come back. The place itself still looks great. Modern setup, cool outdoor seating and murals everywhere that really scream Long Beach. But the overall food quality, counter service and upkeep all feel like they're sliding at the same time. That's the frustrating part. They were doing so much better not that long ago. read more

I've been here about 3 times in the last 6 months, so I think this warrants a review. This isn't your typical fast food, so be prepared to spend slightly more than average in money & wait time for your food. Which, I've concluded, is worth it. The chocolate shake especially, has earned a special place in my heart. It tastes just like Thrifty's ice cream. And they are good about asking if you want whipped cream or not. The shake has the perfect consistency and density and absolutely decadent chocolate flavor. They do not use paper straws either. Cause - why would you do that with a shake?! They have some other compostable option. The burgers are flavored and cooked perfectly and paired with the right bun to meat ratio. And meat to veggie/condiment ratio. We've gotten the Fantastic Burger and the Pastrami Burger. Another gem on the menu are their garlic fries. Yeah. It all hits the spot and tests my will power every time I leave Makai across the street. I've only used the drive through, so I don't know what the interior is like. Staff are super friendly. I call this place the "healthy" version of fast food lol. Everything is made to order and doesn't usually disappoint. My go-to's are their Sunrise Sammie breakfast sandwiches and for lunch, I usually get a grilled or crispy chicken wrap with their side of fried zucchini sticks. It can be pretty expensive, with some items being pricier than eating at a sit-down. Their breakfast sandwiches go for $10.79, a pancake plate (comes with 2 pancakes and 3 eggs) is $13.79, and a small orange juice is $6.00. Their food and service are consistently good, but I don't appreciate their greediness when it comes to extras. Whenever I ask for pico de gallo on the side, they tell me it'll be $0.75 extra. Even this last time when I ordered $75.00 worth of food, they still told me it'd be extra. That's just insanely greedy. read more

Eat Fantastic is theee best! So happy to have one in Long Beach! They have the best hours and offer breakfast all day. The servers are always kind, attentive, and helpful. My favorite burger is The Goat! The meat is seasoned nicely and they give a good portions. To top it off the amount of fries they give in the combo is perfect, I can never finish them! The mural on the side of the building paying homage to the goat is such a nice touch. Some other great items are the breakfast burrito, the smash melt, and the western burger. I really love Eat Fantastic, for so many reasons. FIrst, it's customer service. Everyone I've ever encountered there is always polite, friendly, and professional. They're on top of their A game when it comes to serving customers. Second, the food. It is SO delicious and the servings are extremely generous! I love getting their garlic fries, it's enough to share and even enough left for the next day. I've tried their breakfast tacos too, delicious! Third, the speed at which you're served. They are quick to deliver and I rarely have to wait long for my order. There is seating indoors, outside, a parking lot adjacent and has a great location. I love their decor. My sister has raved about Eat Fantastic for years now and I finally got the chance to try it today for lunch. I ordered the pastrami melt and that was really delicious. I feel like pastrami sandwiches are really hard to nail but I think they got it on point here. It has the right amount of meat, cheese, pickles and mustard and it all blends extremely well together. After this, I ordered myself a cheeseburger and was really pleased with it too. It was just the right size and tasted great. I will definitely have to come back to try some of the other burgers on the menu. Also, I have to mention that the price for these items was not that bad. I felt it was a fair price for the quality of the item and they were both delicious. For only a few dollars more I could have gotten a combo. The service was also really quick, despite the long line in the drive thru. All of our food was ready in less than ten minutes! Eat fantastic has been such a wonderful addition to 4th street! The food is good and reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I like to get the lunch box to share and it's the perfect lil meal. Been coming here for years and I feel like it's gotten even better as time goes on. As far as fast food goes while it might seem a little bit pricier, believe me it is worth it, the portions are huge and the ingredients are fresh and good. I got a breakfast burrito, a chicken wrap, and an order of fries and was able to make 4 meals out of that so well worth it. The breakfast burrito was very tasty and they give u several salsa options. The ranch is excellent, and the chicken wrap was even good the next day. The murals and everything both inside and outside are absolutely wonderful makes me smile everytime! Love this place and they picked up their chicken fingers game! I get the burger box with the fantastic burger upcharge...tasty bacon cheese burger. I asked for no avocado but the girl f'd up as I expected. Still a good deal. The fries were exceptionally good today and for the first time in the last three visits the chicken fingers were fresh (not double frozen and rubbery) and they tasted great. We stopped by the drive thru and ordered from a brightly lit menu. I shared the G.O.A.T combo with fries and strawberry milkshake for $22. They got our meal together quickly, and let me tell you - the bag was heavy when they handed it over. The double patty is super meaty, and the onions add to the flavor. From the moment I drove into the parking lot I could smell the fried chicken. I knew right away that I had to get that. I was torn between the chicken and the burger! I lucked out today! I got the lunch box(which had both) and my wife got the B.L.T.A. The chicken was hand breaded and the taste proved I chose right. The burger was tasty with fresh ingredients. The fries were good also. I really liked the atmosphere! Though it was small, I didn't feel like I was crowded against the wall. The murals were nice. The inside is always pretty clean and the whole restaurant is cute! The person at the window & register is always on it, but be warned that the woman who bags the food and calls names takes so long your food is practically cold (mainly because she just seems confused 90% of the time and jumps between completing orders then rarely actually calls out a name or number so you have to go up and ask if the bag she put aside and hasn't touched for minutes is yours - hint, it is). The chicken sandwich, chicken strips, and BLT are all better at other spots but if you're in a pinch, it's okay. read more

I went to order burger and fries and was happily surprised by the results. And not only do they have a very clean restaurant with paintings of famous Long Beach celebrities, but they also have very good food. A juicy double hamburger and fresh cut fries. It was all good from start to finish. They have very clean bathrooms that you have to get buzzed in for, and they were very fast getting my food out. I mean really fast. My fries were done before I even asked for the restroom. If they keep this up, they can count on me to come all the time for good food. I'm glad that it isn't far from where I live. read more

It's taken me a while but I am finally reviewing this spot in my hood that I and the entire neighborhood was waiting on pins and needles to open. Let me begin by saying that I have a significant number of friends who miss the prior business at this location: Golden Bowl. I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE! I am ecstatic that this superior eatery took its place. The service here is great! I'd say 90% of folks who work here, go above and beyond to provide exceptional service and this includes the owners that normally work here in the trenches as well. The decor is great and is really a love letter to Long Beach. The walls are painted with Snoop and other Long Beach locals with some fame attached to their faces. Most importantly, I am definitely a fan of the food and have tried many items that include: the Breakfast Burrito, Cheeseburger, Fantastic Burger (cheeseburger with avocado), Pastrami, BLTA, The Club, Chicken Tenders (spicy), Chicken Wrap, Cobb Salad, French Fries, Onion Rings, Zucchini Sticks, and Chili Cheese Fries. So basically almost the entire menu lol. Everything is good and I've ordered all these items more than once. I do have to say that I think they have the best onion rings I've ever had! And the Lunch Box (Hamburger, two chicken tenders, fries, cookie, and a sauce of your choice), is the best meal special in town! They have a great rewards program and i definitely consider myself a regular. One knock I have is minor but with Greek ownership, I wish they had a Gyro. Great place! Fantastic burgers. This place is consistently good. I was visiting LBC and came here a few times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Nice, full menu, customizable options, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Their burgers are REALLY good, but don't sleep on their sandwiches either. They make a mean club and BLT. Their breakfast game is on point as well. They have CRISPY tots & fries, and the best thing on the menu in my opinion is the zucchini stix; they're huge and delicious. Was really looking forward to trying this place, didn't quite realize tell i got there that this is just a rebranded chain i've seen for years. the burger was pretty good, but i got the city slicker which was drenched with bbq sauce. the fries were pretty thick so if that's your thing you'll like them. service at the drive through was fast which was was nice after work. didn't enjoy it too much but the breakfast options looked pretty good and will definitely go back for that read more

There aren't a ton of fast food restaurants around 4th street but this was the perfect addition. Their menu has something for everyone and the portions are a fabulous size. My favorite thing to get here is their lunch box which comes with a hamburger (I add cheese), 2 chicken tenders, fries, your choice of sauce and a chocolate chip cookie. I like that you have the option to make your tenders spicy, regular or half and half. I usually end up getting two meals out of the lunch box, so ~$15 for essentially two meals is a great deal. Their burritos are also really huge and you could easily get more than one meal out of it as well. There's plenty of seating inside and outside and the establishment has their own little parking lot. I still like the food and the friendly service I have received when I stop to pick up orders to deliver for UBER eats, but I dont think I will no longer. One thing I know about good customer service is you should own up to the place of business making a mistake if for one you are representing the business. I stop in for a free milkshake from a text I received for my bday. The person in charge said they no longer are honoring the bday reward. If this is the case they should remove the text and remove it from the app. This is misleading. I have screenshots of the app. I still treated myself with a milkshake. Also its not about the money part. Its the customer service that was provided. I would have apologized. Honored it and reassure the customer this issue with the rewards would be brought up to upper management. I dont know what her problem was ir is, but working in any business. Wow! This is probably the best burger I've had in Long Beach in a long time! We got the lunch box which is a cheeseburger, fries and 2 tenders. The tenders were not some Kirkland tenders- they were very big and juicy. The fantastic sauce was necessary. Homemade ranch and honey mustard are also so good. We added a solo cheeseburger to split the meal evenly between us. It really is reasonably priced as well. My husband and I came here since we liked their PCH location. He order a cheeseburger and I had the garlic Parmesan fries. He liked his burger, my fries were expensive for what I got (extremely oily fries, no salt, not enough parmesan). They have a parking lot. The drive thru gets very busy or backed up, and you risk getting blocked inside the parking lot for a long time. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The decor is cute and trendy. read more
