I had such a great experience from Crisp & Green! The service was amazing -- the manager explained everything on the menu very well and how it worked and my salad was put together very quickly! I ordered the Chicken Casablanca Salad but subbed the beats for edema and it was seriously so delicious. The ingredients are very fresh, the chicken wasn't dry at all. I also got the pineapple ginger Fresca also sooo good! The place is incredibly clean and cute inside. I live close so this place will be dangerous for my wallet. It is a little pricey but I'd say for what it is it's justified. Go give this place some love! I will be back! read more

I love crisp & green! Their salads are delicious. Everything is very fresh, well seasoned, always tasty. They have large refrigerators behind the salad bar line and you can see all the prepped ingredients. The decor is airy and organic. It's a nice facility. They are unfortunately very understaffed. I will typically stand in line for 15-20 minutes over the lunch hour before getting to order. It's a chipotle-style restaurant, so it feels like a long wait. Most times that I am there, there's usually only one person working the line and everyone else is in the back prepping ingredients. If you are patient, this is a great place to try. I will also order online to pick it up if I don't have time to wait. I also will mention that this may not be an allergen friendly option. I LOVE the Pesto Parm Perfection salad, and I sub shrimp for chicken. This last time I got my salad, the worker accidentally added a scoop of chicken. When she realized this, she picked the pieces of chicken off my salad and put them back into the container on the salad bar. I'm not sure if this was just a one time thing but this does indeed cause cross contamination if you have an allergy. read more

I was craving a salad for dinner but couldn't get to the store. I found Crisp & Green on Door Dash and am pleasantly surprised! I got the Little Chef Salad, added Arugula, carrots and tomatoes for $0.65 each, and it was a terrific meal salad! If you're hungrier you'll want to get a full-sized salad. Watch out for the add-ons, more premium are of course spendier. A little expensive compared to buying the same ingredients and making yourself, but on a busy day when time is tight, I recommend it! One of the best salad places in Omaha. I like to try a lot of the fresh, healthy new restaurants in the are and this one definitely tops the list. They had a large menu with lots of interesting items. Bowls, smoothies, salads-you can't go wrong. I really enjoyed this restaurant because not only did they have their standard menu but you could also make your own salad. The options were extensive and could really fit a variety of people. I'm very excited to go back and try all of their salads because not one sounded bad. The inside was beautiful and the staff was very friendly, added bonus they do have a drive-through! We came in to order dinner at 8pm. There were 3 people in line in front of us and it took 45 minutes to get our food. The restaurant had two employees working. They employees were ignoring the customers waiting in line while one staff member filled takeout orders and the other one stood at the register doing who knows what. At one point they stood at the register for over 5 minutes talking to each other about online orders as the line grew and customers continued to stand in line ignored. There was zero urgency, they wasted everyone's time. A large portion of the toppings were out and they just shrugged when a woman pointed out that she should have been told major portions of her choice were out when she ordered. The employee didn't seem to care. There was no sense of urgency. It was like they were walking knee deep in mud. They never apologized--just said they were short staffed and kept moving like turtles--while not speaking to customers. They were more concerned about customers not in the store than the customers standing in front of them. Multiple customers left without ordering after the waiting over a half hour. The salad is good so they get one star in lieu of zero. The service is horrible and it indicates a lack of training and care by the owners of the business. It is a shame. This isn't a unique business concept, find somewhere else to go so you can get courteous and efficient service. read more

Today is the first time I actually ate in at Crisp & Green. I've been getting takeaway. There are many curated salads such as Cinco Delight and No Prob Cobb that can be customized, but I go with the build-your-own-salad which seems to have the same choices as build-your-own-bowl. Usually I put in kale which is good for me and I can disguise it with other ingredients such as spring mix or spinach. I like to add quinoa or garbanzo beans plus veggies such as carrots and cucumbers. With so many choices, there's endless ways to makes a salad. I like the balsamic vinaigrette or ranch for a dressing. I appreciated that I was asked how much dressing because I hate when my salad is drowning with the stuff. I chose a can of sparkling water to drink. My brother chose the build-your-own-salad as well, but couldn't remember all his choices. He didn't like his dressing choice, but the over all salad was good. He couldn't remember which dressing it was, but knew it wasn't ranch or balsamic. They also have smoothies and açaí bowls. The space is bright and has lots of room to spread out. My only critique is that it was hard to find a clean table. They look clean until the light hits them and then I could see rings and such. I ended up spilling some water and wiping it with a napkin. Then I used napkins as a placemat. When we were leaving, someone was coming out with a bucket of soapy water. I only saw two people working and they seemed kind of stressed. That's probably why the tables weren't washed. read more

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday evening. My wife and I were very excited for a healthier fast casual option. We were not disappointed. My wife had the wild child bowl and I had the squash goals. We were both very happy with the flavors, textures and overall variety available. The staff was very helpful and friendly and there are tons of ways to customize your bowl. I also tried some aqua fresca which was tasty and refreshing. We finished by sharing the date night smoothie which really was not our favorite and we likely wouldn't get it again but that's just us. The salads were just ok. Their Caesar dressing was good, but their homemade ranch dressing was terrible. The ingredients did not at all look fresh. I had to ask if they had a fresher batch of romaine. VERY expensive for the amount of food you get (even after you factor in inflation, the prices are still unreasonable). The prices start at $8.45 for a build your own salad, but just about every topping costs $1.25 extra each, so you end up paying about $15 for a small bowl of salad. To add chicken costs $3.25 extra. The chicken was the only thing that looked hot and fresh, but it was SO hard and chewy I couldn't even eat it. It was also very bland. Bummer this place didn't work out. read more

I'm not sure what has changed but in the last 6 months I have had something wrong with my order almost every time. I love the food, it's delicious and healthy and they are close to where I work so it's a convenient way to get healthy lunch but for the price it's just not worth it when they get your order wrong more often than not. Today I got the cest la viche, no substitutions just the standard order. Took it back to the hospital to eat it and found no dressing. Just a dry salad. I can't leave work again to go back as I don't have time. It's frustrating and for the money I paid it's not worth it. read more

I really like the fresh food here, and have been getting food from them since they opened. The last few visits have left me feeling like their customer service has slipped, and today was the worst. I have figured out that if you order through the app, they won't have your food ready until exactly the promised time. Last time I showed up a few min early and they were not busy, but they didn't even start preparing my food until the promised time. Ok... I get it - it's a great way to ensure freshness and not a soggy salad. So, today I arrived 10 min after the promised time. Not only was my food still not ready, but there were two other people waiting for their delayed orders. There were three young women standing by the bags with the customer labels. They were talking to each other and goofing off, but not a single one acknowledged me Or any of the other people there. There was a single Young man preparing all the food orders and taking care of the customers ordering for in the store line. I get that it is hard to hire people, but they had four people and only one seemed to be working. If the three ladies hadn't been trained in how to make salads, checking people out... they should've at least been trained to acknowledge customers. Very disappointing to see service and experience slipping like this and I hope the store manager sees this and corrects this before there is irreparable damage to the store's reputation and customer base. read more

I got the Bold and the Buffalo grain bowl and the person helping me said the ranch it normally comes with is great, but the southwestern dressing really elevates it and I am so glad I followed the recommendation, it it just the right amount of spicy and the roasted cauliflower is so yummy. I just read a review from 3 days ago that mentioned customers waiting in line for 30-45 mins. I was the customer waiting in line pointing out the 2 staff members that they should have announced to the customers what ingredients they were out of. They NEVER acknowledged the customers in the store and NO they never moved with a sense of urgency. I was livid walking out of there! We were told by one of the staff members that there should have been a staff of 5 working Friday night, but there were only 2 girls. One was solely concentrated on online orders and the other girl disappeared to the back and then she reappears with zero sense of urgency. There started to be chatter in the liner of customers asking what was going on. I love crisp and green but there should have been a manager on-site to facilitate, help our or do something. Those girls were drowning without a paddle!!! Zero customer skills and yes they need more training on how to wait on customers that's staring them right in their faces. Poorly managed place and yes people started to walk out!! The staff members both complained that they had not taken any breaks and had no time to cut up any more ingredients! The fact that customers stood in line for so long, the last thing we want to hear is the staff complaining about their jobs!!! Here's the thing; the food is rock star status. I have been here well over 10 times now, and each time I love what I order (mostly grain bowls and salads with a few modifications)! It has always been fresh. The portions are good sized. I like to eat, so trust. $14 for a chicken salad with all these ingredients and bomb dressing isn't too shabby. Show me a place with a better $14 salad...honestly. Mostly everything else, the smoothies and drinks, are WAY overpriced. But whatever. The kicker - the customer service is so inconsistent. If what I order wasn't so good I would likely not be back. Half the time people are welcoming and friendly. The other half of the time they look at you like you just asked them to walk 2 miles for a gallon of milk. I rarely make modifications to my orders so I'm not being one of "those" people, and I'm a pretty nice person so it just kind of always catches me off-guard. If you hate your job find a new one. Saw a segment on the morning news featuring some of their Warm Grain Bowls and just had to give it a try. Came in on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty busy but it didn't take long to order and there were still open spots to sit. I got the Wild Child Bowl and it was everything I was looking for! So fresh with great flavors and textures! The goat cheese dollop really puts this dish over the edge; delicious! I can't wait to try something else next time and the smoothies look really good too!
