Service was fast and efficient, we got seated pretty fast. The restaurant itself was fairly quiet so not to much going on. The calamari was the star of the show , we got the crocante pizza , it was a deep dish pizza but honestly was not the biggest fan. I would def come back and try a different pizza. Overall great experience.
Stopped into Croccante Artisan about 30 minutes before closing and was immediately welcomed by a warm, friendly staff. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered the deep-dish mushroom pizza with added arugula and balsamic, paired with a glass of The Prisoner Pinot Noir. Service was quick, and the pizza arrived hot, fresh, and looking every bit as good as it tasted. The arugula and balsamic really elevated the mushroom pizza, and I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it nearly as much without those additions. The crust struck a nice balance--fluffy and airy on the inside with the crisp edges you'd hope for in a pan-style pizza. Portions were generous as well; one pizza could easily be shared or enjoyed with leftovers to take home. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, making it a great stop while exploring downtown Napa. Between the welcoming service, quality food, and walkable location, I'd happily return.
Great service, clean interior. Parking could get a little hard here depending on the day. Food wasn't too good though and would likely skip it next time. Maybe the square pizza is better but found the BBQ Chicken pizza was way too thin and sort of tasted like a burnt chip.
Ordered a Chicago BBQ Chicken pizza online for takeout pickup. Really spacious and clean inside with outdoor seating as well, and pickup process was seamless, clean packaging. The pizza itself was honestly very ok, really not a fan of the super thin cracker like crust. Maybe would be different if it's a different pizza style, since they offer a couple different kinds. It was nicely cut into small squares, which made it easy to eat on the car ride back from Napa down to South bay. Also ordered hot honey as a side add-on ($3) and was a bit surprised to see it was literally only 2 small packets given as part of the takeout.
This was my second time trying Croccante's pizza, but my first time eating it there in person. Croccante really has some of my favorite pizza in Napa! Their Detroit-style pizzas have a delicious crust which perfectly compliments their toppings. My favorite pizza being their mushroom pizza! I'm glad I finally got to enjoy their pizzas fresh at the restaurant. Their pizza was as good as the first time I had it (even better since it was fresh), but I got to experience their great service! All the staff was super friendly, and we felt at home. Love Croccante and will continue to be back!
Croccante pizza hit all the marks, great food, excellent service & nice ambiance! They offer indoor & outdoor seating with a nice sized menu. Our group of 4 ordered 3 different pizzas & they were so filling! We ordered the croccante, sausage & broccolini & potato & pancetta, my favorite of the three was the sausage & broccolini the flavors were amazing & I was surprised that it was my favorite as it was not my first pick! Definitely a spot I'd recommend for date night or a group with friends
This place never fails to satisfy. Very friendly staff and excellent Detroit style pizza! My fav is the burrata. It's a little off the strip so parking is always available but close enough to downtown to enjoy the vibe. The only thing is that I wish they had a kids menu so that my little one does t have to order such a huge cheese pizza
Really enjoyed this spot. It's not directly on Main Street but super close, which honestly makes it even better. We came in closer to closing time and even though it was a full house, we were seated right away and food was out quick. First time trying their Detroit style pizza and it was amazing, flavorful sauce, fluffy crust, and perfectly balanced ingredients. I noticed they were voted Favorite Local Pizza and it totally makes sense. The wings were also very good, saucy with just the right amount of spice. The blue cheese tasted house-made and added great flavor, especially if you're a pizza dipper. The staff was very kind, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations, which always makes the experience more pleasant. The space is on the smaller side and can get a bit loud when full, but overall it's a great casual spot within walking distance of Main Street. Highly recommend. We will be back.
We sat at the bar area where Amin delivered top-notch service. Nice and simple deco. Comfortable seating. Their full bar featured an extensive drink menu, but unfortunately, Bloody Marys were not among the options. The menu offered two pizza styles - Detroit and Chicago; we chose Chicago-style pizza and naked chicken wings with sauce on the side, looking forward to trying the Detroit-style pizza next time!!
Love the deep dish Detroit style pizza! Spent a beautiful lunch outdoor with a friend for a quick birthday lunch. We ordered the Instagram hyped Croccante pizza & it did not disappoint. Thick, delicious, and seasoned just right. Definitely will be back to try the selections. A must for pizza lovers.
BLUF: Pizza and Caesar salad were incredible! Cute little Italian restaurant on outskirts of downtown Napa. Has a full bar and combination of both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Caesar salad was fantastic - crisp lettuce and definitely a nice homemade dressing. Detroit style Croccante pizza was delicious. Dough was thick but nice and light..not dense and overpowering. Crispy cheese edges and plentiful toppings. Really enjoyed this after a day of wonderful wine tasting!
Found this place walking in downtown Napa during the dinner. Had a decent Detroit style pizza at Croccante Artisan Pizza which was cleverly named Croccante by the way. The fermented dough made for a light and airy inside while the outside was crispy and cheesy to perfection. We added the Chicken fettuccine and Caesar salad to add to our variety. Overall a very good restaurant with good vibes.
Found this gem during our recent visit to Napa. Absolutely Loved the pizza here. It was really busy and there was a ~45 minute wait for the table so we chose to sit in the bar area. Seating was pretty and ambience is standard for a casual dining spot. Servers were extremely busy so service was a hit and miss but they were trying . We got the Burrata Pizza with Mushroom and the Sausage and Pepperoni pizza. The Burrata Pizza was mind-blowing. Absolutely Loved it ! One of the best I've ever had. The Detroit crust is amazing - Perfectly Crispy on the outside and just the right softness in the inner base. The Other Pizza was good too but its the Burrata Pizza with added Mushrooms that stole the show. We will definitely be back here when we visit Napa next ! read more

We came by for the first time for dinner. There was plenty of seating available inside and outside. We ordered the croccante wings, croquettes, croccante pizza and my daughter had the butter and cheese pasta. The food was great! We especially enjoyed the croquettes. While it came with marinara sauce, we didn't need it because it already tasted wonderful without it. The service was quick. Our server was kind and funny. He was attentive on refilling our water and offering a food menu. There was only one restroom for the entire restaurant which was not the best. I would definitely come back! read more

This was my first time visiting this pizza restaurant and it did not disappoint. I ordered their regular caesar salad and their Hawaiian pizza. I usually am not a fan of thin crust pizzas but this pizza was perfectly crisp and delicious. I do prefer canadian bacon on my hawaiian pizza since it can be cooked crisp over the ham but that is the only thing for me based on my preference. Their salad was quite delicious as well. I placed a pick up order and it was ready on time but I did notice they had outdoor seating as well. read more

What's better than dining outside in the warm evening air on delicious Detroit style pizza? Answer: not many things. There were so many toppings to choose from, but we settled on the burrata, and the sausage broccolini. We got the gluten free crust and as a non-GF person, it was light, airy, crispy on the edges, and so tasty. The perfect vehicle for sauces, toppings, and flavor. Can't wait to be back to try the rest of the menu! read more
Came an hour before closing and we're happy to be seated right away . Staff were very friendly. Orders were taken right away, it's a nice cozy place. The food was delicious . I Was definitely skeptical about the blueberry soda and the wings . But man... a happy surprise with both. I'm not a soda person (much less out of the ordinary soda) it was refreshing and a little sweet . I almost ordered another one but had to maintain control lol. The wings were really good too. With our without sauce in my opinion. I devoured the Cesar salad almost instantly . They make their own Cesar dressing and you can honestly tell. I enjoyed it. Fiancé went with the pepperoni Detroit style pizza and I saw someone with the burrata style so I also chose the burrata. I honestly liked it . Not the best for leftover pizza . But in the moment , no complaints. Definitely should try at least once . We will be back to try Chicago style pizza and dessert. read more

Great fast service... Pizza was THE BEAT I HAVE EVER EATEN!!!!!! We sat along the street which was a great view and weather.... Drinks were cold and food was OUTSTANDING! The pizza had just the right amount crunch youbget on a deep dish, wasn't super chewy and just the right ingredients to give it the perfect flavor.... The mushroom pizza was far the best... If you are in the area this is a MUST!!!!!! read more
Great recommendation after a day of wine tasting near the Stags Leap district. An easy 15min drive from the vineyards, with a parking lot right across the way and good street parking. Service was quick even with the lunch time crowd. Great seating right outside as well we were able to wait at a nice table for our to-go order. Was recommended the Detroit style pan pizza and the crust was both crispy and fluffy really enjoyed the flavor. Tried the Greek style and 4 cheese pizza for the kids and everyone loved it. The pizzas are cut into large squares that if you cut more still is a generous portion- two pizzas fed 7 of us including 2 kids. Will come back to try the other menu items and pizza again. read more
I've been to Croccante a few times. Great service, good food, and never had a bad experience. The Detroit style pizzas are amazing--especially the Burrata and the Roasted Potato with Pancetta. Their gluten-free crust is one of the best I've had, and most pizzas can be made GF. The restaurant is conveniently located downtown Napa, they take reservations, and there's plenty of free parking nearby. read more
Our friends invited us to join them here. I'm so glad they did! What a warm inviting cozy restaurant! Servers were amazing. They allowed us to visit & take our time ordering. Our favorite pizza of 3 was the Croccante. But all the pizzas were delicious. The garlic knots were very good too. My only slight critique would be on the Calamari. The breading comes right off. I highly recommend trying this place. I just ate a piece of cold pizza 2 days later & it was still so good!!! read more

This place was awesome! My family loved the wings - they agreed that the chili glaze was better than buffalo. Pizzas and garlic knots were also enjoyed by all. I love the dollops of tomato sauce on top of the Detroit style pizzas! Service was also great, the restaurant was able to accommodate our party of 12 quite easily. Highly recommend visiting Croccante if you're feeling like pizza after a day of wine tasting. read more

Gluten free Detroit style pizza?? Yes please! I never seen this offered before so I had to get two. I liked the mushroom one much more than the four cheese, which was too salty for me. The crust is impeccable, soft on the inside but very crunchy on the outside. Great pizza read more

Well though the name implies a pizza joint they do more than that. I ordered the chilaquiles with eggs over medium and I received just that it was delicious but not a chilaquile that I'm used to, I wish chefs would amp up the red sauce a bit more and even do a quick pan fry for a bit of a crunch on the tortilla, but I gobbled them up. The eggs were cooked over medium to perfection. I also ordered an Italian soda drink and it was refreshingly good, I could have drunk a pitcher of it. Both items we ordered had a lovely presentation and being able to eat outside on a warm day was even better. The service was exemplary. Locals like this place as well. read more
