    Burger and fries

We decided to have lunch here while walking around Yountville. They had an interesting-looking hamburger. Customers order at an inside counter. After ordering, customers receive a numbered stanchion to place on their table. Once prepared, the food is delivered to a customer's table. Seating was available in an outside courtyard where we sat. It was a nice, sunny but not too hot day. We decided to share a hamburger and fries. They were so kind as to separate the hamburger and fries into a plate for each of us. I also had a cup of their spicy tomato soup. It was very good. I would recommend this location. Sandwich shop

3.5 STARS You're hangry. So hangry you can hulk smash a pastry case. And, the person in front of you in line has hella questions, or places a huge order. It never fails right? First meal of the day, we arrived on Thursday around 12:30 pm HANGRY and to our surprise, The Kitchen at Priest Ranch was a mad house. There were several large groups - some waiting for their order, some deciding what to order. After ordering, we received our food in less than 15 minutes so props to the BOH that was hustling! Opening in November 2023, The Kitchen at Priest Ranch is the only Yountville wallet-friendly resto (that I could find). They're located next to Priest Ranch's tasting room. Takeout, indoor dining, and outdoor dining available. Dog-friendly in the front and back patio. Fast-casual service. Order, pay, and grab a number placard before seating yourself. Self-serve water. Bus your own table afterwards. M E N U New American Cuisine - breakfast served all day, salads, and sandwiches with suggested wine pairings. Secret menu (just ask). Nothing is over $20. F O O D * Gas Station Sandwich: Cheesy egg, house sausage, crispy potato, B&B pickles, seasonal jam, english muffin ($16): https://tinyurl.com/3yp6kzb8 Fav item of the three, the breakfast sandwich had great contrasting crispy soft textures and savory sweet flavors. Looking at older pics, it looks like the size of the egg and sausage have shrunk tho. * Breakfast Gnocchi: Wild mushrooms, seasonal vegetables, fried eggs, pickled onion, calabrian chili aioli ($20): https://tinyurl.com/2abv3929 - Requested sunny-side up eggs With the rave reviews, I thought this was just ok. Intense earthy flavor with the gnocchi on the dense side. The pickled onions really helped bring this dish to life. * Secret Menu: Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap ($18): https://tinyurl.com/5n7t9f4d I've been on a chicken caesar salad wrap kick lately so was most excited for this. Unfortunately, this rendition was a let down. While the chicken breast was perfectly cooked and moist, the spring mixed greens (not little gems or romaine lettuce) and breadcrumbs (no croutons) were soggy. It was missing the satisfying crisp and crunchy textures and punchy flavors of a ceasar salad. S E R V I C E Friendly and very fast given the mad rush. A M B I A N C E Modern casual with several tables inside with an open kitchen. Pleasant front patio and back patio seating. There's also rooftop seating with a firepit. Overall, maybe we visited on an off day but I found the food just decent but there's no denying the value. It beats paying $13.50 for a premade, microwaved breakfast sandwich at Mini Model Bakery up the block. If you're looking for "Yountville affordable" eats, The Kitchen at Priest Kitchen is where it's at!

Service is like 'welcome home!' DJ took care of us and checked in often to make sure we were doing good! Amazing Amazing atmosphere, go sit rooftop for a view! The Chicago style italian beef was amazing + the Latke. Oh and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc!

We had a fantastic breakfast here while we were in Yountville. Ordering happens at the counter, right when you walk in (make sure to check the specials too, in addition to the standard menu), and they give you a number for your table. There's an ample amount of seating, and would say the food came out around 10-15 minutes after ordering, which wasn't bad. I ordered the two by four - two eggs however you like (over easy), bacon, latkes, sourdough toast, served with butter, and really tasty jam. My husband had the loaded latkes - which were also very good. Standout here for sure is the latkes - they're absolutely delicious! We will absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

The staff was beyond accommodating. I can't even thank them enough. We pulled up less than 30 minutes before closing, and they let us sit upstairs after they already cleaned up. Even brought all of our food upstairs for us, turned on the fire pit. I had the caesar salad and really enjoyed the wine. 10/10 will definitely be back for the service alone.

First time having breakfast here and certainly won't be my last. It's a very small eatery with a few chairs inside and a little bar with a few seats outside. The service is always top notch! The breakfast burrito was delicious but what really made it was the tomato salsa! That stuff was so good I wanted it harder so I could take some to go!

This place is cafeteria style. But the burger was amazing and so were the fries! A great deal too at $30 for the burger, fries and a glass of rose! The burger was perfectly charred and came with a delicious sauce. Fries were crispy done just right. Staff were friendly and helpful. I suggest going upstairs to the roof deck where you get a lovely view of the wineries and hills.

We attended a Kitchen Sync special event with music and The Kitchen's special event menu. It was a great evening.

Our first visit here! We came around 11am on a Friday. It was not yet busy since they just opened. It's fast casual style where you order at the counter, pay, and then you take your number to your table. There were some tables inside as well as outside. The day was absolutely stunning so we sat outside. We were hungry, but we're not starved, so we just ordered the two sandwiches. The food came out pretty quickly. The crispy chicken sandwich had or be mayonnaise, kimchi and perfectly fried chicken thigh on a sesame seed bun. The Chicago style Italian beef had sirloin beef, veggies and plenty of jus. It was delicious and messy! I would definitely come back for the crispy chicken sandwich! Note: the bathroom is outside the restaurant around the corner by the stairs. However, that bathroom was broken and the sign said to use the Priest Ranch tasting room's bathroom. The bathroom was very nice, and the tasting room looks very inviting!

With all the high-end, fancy restaurants in town, this was one of our favorite meals. Long after our meal was done, my husband has continued to talk about the "Best truffle fries" he's ever had! I recommend looking at the menu and reading the reviews before your visit. I would never have ordered the "Gas Station Sandwich" had I not seen photos and read the glowing reviews. It was insanely good! My husband ordered the specials for the day, the short rib sandwich and the truffle fries. He said his sandwich was good but said my Gas Station Sandwich was better. The truffle fries truly are the best we've ever had. Order at the counter, take your number with you and find a seat - I recommend the rooftop seating area! Within minutes, a server will bring your food to you. The super helpful guy at the register who gave us suggestions turned out to be the chef! What a great place. We would be regulars if we lived in Napa.

The Kitchen at Priest Ranch, Yountville, CA --A food-forward retreat built for quick bites, not big crowds. In a town where white tablecloths and world-class chefs compete for attention, The Kitchen at Priest Ranch carves its own path--low on ceremony, high on flavor. Designed with casual elegance and counter-service ease, this cozy spot offers a refreshing break from Yountville's usual pomp. The star of the show? The loaded latke. Crisped to perfection and unapologetically rich, it's comfort food done with quiet confidence. From breakfast gnocchi to double smash burgers, the menu leans short and bold--built for quick decisions and immediate satisfaction. Inside, the space is intimate and intentionally modest--best suited for couples or small groups. With wood panel-interior, rooftop lounge, and sun-soaked patios, The Kitchen feels more like a favorite local escape than a destination for events. It's not designed for large parties, but that's by design: here, the focus is on fast, focused, farm-forward fare, not fanfare. Service is relaxed but sharp, and everything--from the first bite to the final sip of local wine--revolves around one goal: simple, creative satisfaction. In a town of culinary giants, The Kitchen doesn't try to outshine--it simply delivers.

    Roof top dining here!

Food was hella good. Smash Burger, added an egg and bacon. Meat was flavorful, bun nice and soft. They smashed the burger nice and thin. Hella good. Service was cool. Nice play list while we ate. Definitely will come back again. Nice to be local.

A quick trip to the Napa region led us to The Kitchen at Priest. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly. The food was delicious and thoughtfully paired with wines that complemented each dish. I especially enjoyed my smash burger and Caesar salad--everything was fantastic!

Some breakfast dish with Gnocchi on the bottom. Friend said it was good.

There's an open kitchen with a lot of space but still has a mixture of upscale and casual interior vibes. We got here right at our reservation time and were seated at a long table. What I liked were the tagliarini bolognese al centro ($32) and the wagyu polpette ($25). The calamari ($25) was decent and the patatine fritte e tartufo ($16) had big portions but could've used a little salt. The carbonara ($30) was cooked al dente and while we took the suggestion from the server we would've preferred a bit softer. It was a solid and reliable dinner spot that is good for celebratory meals.

We arrived about 30 minutes late, but the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. We were seated right away and greeted warmly, which immediately made the experience feel relaxed despite us running behind. The one thing I knew I had to try here was their famous buttermilk fried chicken. Although I probably should have checked the menu more carefully beforehand, I was a little surprised to find out that Ad Hoc offers a fixed $69 menu, and everyone seated has to participate. I was even more surprised to learn that the famous fried chicken is actually an add-on to the set menu. The whole thing kind of felt like Hermès, where you have to buy all the other restaurant offerings first just to get access to the thing you really came for--the chicken. Lol. Regardless, we went with the set menu and added one order of the fried chicken, which was more than enough to share among four people. It ended up being a great lunch before a full afternoon of wine tastings. The meal started with crudités, and the vegetables were beautifully presented and very fresh. The dip leaned more like a hummus-ranch sauce, which was lighter and not as thick as I personally prefer, so this course was probably my least favorite. Still, it was a nice, refreshing way to start the meal. The main course was pork, which I initially wasn't too excited about because I was still mentally waiting for the chicken. But honestly, it was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked to literal perfection. It ended up being one of the best pork dishes I've ever had, and I would happily order it again. The fried chicken was, of course, amazing. The batter and skin were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, while the inside was juicy, moist, and cooked beautifully. It's genuinely impressive how they manage to make fried chicken taste this perfect and consistent. Dessert was peach cobbler, and even though I'm not usually much of a dessert person, I really enjoyed it. It was warm, comforting, and a sweet way to end the meal. Overall, Ad Hoc was such a fun and satisfying way to start our Napa weekend. While the fixed menu setup and chicken add-on were a little unexpected, the quality of the food made the experience worth it. The pork was a surprise standout, the chicken lived up to the hype, and the service was warm from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed but elevated Napa meal--especially if you're going for that famous fried chicken.

The menu for my visit was akin to something that a nutritionist might suggest for a gym bro. The appetizer was veggie crudites (which were fresh and delicious). Maybe we were a little unlucky with the date that we chose, but I definitely felt a little jealous seeing the other photos posted on Yelp. But it is a VERY close second. This might be my shortest review because how could I possibly do justice to all 13 courses - each just as flavorfully complex, innovative, and beautiful as the next? Suffice it to say that Chef Keller is the GOAT and each course was a masterpiece. Special shout out to the "oysters and pearls" which was the star of the show in my humble opinion. Their pastry chef is killing it! 4 stars instead of 5, because I expect a little more wow factor from a 3-Star Michelin restaurant, having been to many that knocked my socks off. The food here is a bit traditional and mainstream now (though I understand it was avant garde back in the 1990s). I felt that they're just coasting on this historic reputation. An example was the oyster and pearls, a signature dish. This was a divisive dish - half of our table liked it (tastes like boba!), and half hated it (including me!). I was expecting at least a whole oyster but maybe each person only got 1/4 of a small one chopped up into little pieces.

The fact that she wanted come back was an indicator that this restaurant would be a good experience as Mom has very high standards. According to Anthony Bourdain, "A bouchon is a uniquely Lyonnaise institution, a casual, laid-back kind of a pub/bistro with a limited, usually old-school menu and always, always an unpretentious vibe. People come here to unwind, to relax, and to eat with abandon." Bouchon is chef Thomas Keller's (The French Laundry) heartfelt homage to the traditional French bistro in Napa Valley's charming 1.5 square mile town of Yountville. Located across the street from V Marketplace on Washington Street, we easily found free parking in the lot adjacent to the market. The restaurant is housed in a cozy red building that sits right next door to its sibling bakery. Decorated with whites, reds and marble tones, the velvet banquette seating and polished brass accents pop out through the wood furnishings and mosaic floor design. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The place was buzzing with almost every table occupied in the tightly-seated dining room. The seasons dictate what's on offer at Bouchon. The menu features a variety of traditional French dishes that perfectly highlight the essence of bistro dining. Upon seating, we were served a complimentary ramekin of pistachios alongside some butter and pain d'épi, the classic "stalk of wheat" variation on the classic baguette. Below are what we ordered: Escargots de Bourgogne ($19.75) - Six Burgundy snails cooked in parsley-garlic butter, each topped with Bouchon Bakery's puff pastry, were all absolute perfection, as expected. Soupe à l'Oignon ($19.75) - A true test of a French bistro is its French onion soup, and Bouchon's comforting, piping hot bowl of caramelized sweet onions, savoury beef jus, topped with country bread and melted Comté cheese, did not disappoint. Served in a proper vessel? Yes. Baked with a toasted baguette slice and ooey, gooey cheese topper? Check. The flavour of the soup base was also richly robust. I couldn't decide between the Saumon Poêlé ($38.00) and the Steak Frites ($47.50). Since our waiter said that I could have a side of the sauce au poivre from the Poitrine de Boeuf au Poivre ($45.00) with the Steak Frites, I had to go this route as it's one of my favourites. No regrets at all on my choice; I savoured every bite of the delicious pan-seared prime flat iron steak topped with maitre d'hôtel butter and side of crispy French fries. The additional sauce au poivre was the cherry on top. Steak Frites truly is the quintessential bistro entrée and Bouchon's was excellent. Service was great. As a sweet birthday gift, Mom was given a pack of chocolate brownies, served on a plate alongside a lit candle to blow and make a wish. Dinner was remarkable. I'm not surprised that Mom chose to return here for her birthday dinner. I loved Bouchon so much that it's now my favourite restaurant in Napa Valley. Yes, I was able to decide this from my first visit. I most definitely will return. It's a must!

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The woman at the counter was cold and barely spoke, and I couldn't shake the feeling that she was silently judging my order. Not exactly the welcoming energy you'd hope for. The woman working in the back, however, was a bright spot. She kept a warm smile throughout and moved through her tasks with care. As for the drink itself, it was genuinely good, a solid 3.5 out of 5. Would I go back? Only if the group I was with wanted to stop in. Accidentally deleted my pictures

They have tables and chairs set up so you can sit and enjoy your food. They also have a mini farmers market set up that is located on the right side of the building. Everything appeared to be fresh. Once I approached the counter, I could feel the lady's energy wasn't going to be excellent. She wasn't warm and welcoming in taking my order. I ordered a vanilla latte with carmel and she said to me "you know that is going to be very sweet!" which came off a little condescending, like I didn't know what I was ordering. The latte itself was a solid 3/5. I left feeling a little disappointed because the service didn't match the charm of this cute little Yountville spot, which is really unfortunate.
