Not only is the food extremely delicious, but the service very reliable! The ambience is even better. They have a little section garden in the back to sit & enjoy your food.

Super cute outdoor casual spot. You order at the cashier and then take a seat outside and they bring you your food. Cashiers were friendly. the outdoor space is lovely however it was too cramped for my comfort. I ordered the biscuit with avocado smash, and the biscuit part was amazing. However, there was barely 3 tiny slices of avocado in it and lots of flavorless egg. There's a tiny parking lot so I wouldn't bother trying, just park on the street.

Today I enjoyed a wonderful brunch/lunch with my good friend at Crocker's. It was a first time visit for both of us but most certainly not our last! Gabby welcomed us and guided us through a very expansive menu with so many options for breakfast, sandwiches, quiches, and salads! My breakfast burrito was delicious and my friend's tuna melt with seasoned potatoes was a big hit as well. The portions were so generous and we were happy to take home leftovers for a later time! But, we returned to visit with Gabby! She spent time describing pastries, cookies, breads, buns, and tarts that we might select as a treat to take home! So many thanks to her for sharing her personal knowledge of the menu! See you soon! Their lovely gardens are also amazingly lovely and a perfect environment for friends' good visit!

genuinely the cutest little garden and cafe ever. when i saw the location, i wasn't sure why there would be a cafe there but the pictures from the garden were so fun and it was gorgeous. staff was genuinely so sweet and fun to talk to!! blueberry pancake was a 10/10 and i would absolutely come back to try more!

Came here to breakfast and thought it was such a nice and cozy spot. The food was yummy , a bit on the pricier side , but definitely worth it! Only thing that o don't like was the limited seating but people come and go fairly quickly.

Do you want to feel like you are having a sweet treat and a cup of coffee at your Grandma's house? Crocker's Cafè is the spot. Cozy, cute and welcoming with a selection of desserts, quiche, scones and savory items to enjoy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coffee, delicious smoothies and Mimosas and beer! Smiling, happy service from the staff is the cherry on top. Tips: Blink and you will miss the driveway. Parking is limited in the back. Park around the corner and walk over. The counter area is small. Stand on the front porch and enjoy the garden while you wait to order.

Came here on a slow Thursday afternoon, there were only 2 parties on the property when we moseyed on in. Staff that helped us out were super friendly! I'm surprised more people aren't talking about them, since they've been here since 1927! It's a little hole in the wall, garden fairy-coded. Very cute for a small brunch! We got the combo quiche (which was SO good and got me full within 5 bites) and the Balboa burrito. The pumpkin pecan sticky bun was our highlight though. It was so fluffy, yet slightly dense, but it was not too sweet at all. 10/10 recommendation for the girlies that want a sweet treat in the morning without it feelings too heavy. Seating is pretty limited, I could see it getting packed on the weekends. They have "elevated espresso" which makes this a pretty good hang out spot!

The cutest cafe with delicious food! I don't even know how many times I've passed this place and thought "I should go there" and I finally did - it was so worth it. Theres seating inside and outside (front and back) but since it's a smaller spot - it fills up quickly but I was fortunate to find a spot in the back patio. The ambiance is everything, so peaceful. The sounds of nature and all the plants just made me feel so at peace. I honestly can't wait to go back!!

The food was so good and the outside garden was gorgeous. Dog friendly but they didn't have high chairs which made it really hard with our kids. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for that! The barista at the front was super nice too.

Absolutely loveee crocker's cafe! It's tucked away on 19th street across from Mother's, it almost looks hidden. They have great outdoor seating in the front and behind the house. It's quiet and cozy and the service is great. They have a big menu selection with breakfast and lunch options, along with a tasty selection of freshly made pastries and sweet treats! I usually order the Biscuits and gravy, I give it a 9/10 only because the gravy is a little liquidy. The cinnamon rolls are huge but so good. The chai is really good too!

I"ve been to Crocker's Cafe & Bakery a couple of times. Once, just for a coffee and the second time with my wife to have an avocado tuna salad and a coffee cake. The real star of a visit here is the ambiance and the staff. It's a delightful, cozy, characterful spot to have a coffee, a meal and to just chill. It's an old cottage, beautifully furnished with a warm, snug indoor area and very pleasant outdoor area. My wife and I chose indoors. The woman behind the counter who served us was very warm and welcoming. The avocado tuna salad was a large size with plenty of avocado and tuna, romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes and red onion. It was a good, robust salad. The coffee cake was a large piece and also tasted good. But it isn't the food that would draw me back: it's the character of the place, the ambiance and welcoming atmosphere.

Tucked in a little corner with lots of flowers and a beautiful garden like being in a fairy home! If weather permits outdoors are best to have a nice meal. Inside seating can be a bit of a squeeze still very intimate. The Avocado Tuna Salad was big and served fresh with romaine, tomato, cucumber, avocado, red onions, candied walnuts, and ranch dressing on the side. The Hello Dolly, a cookie dough topped with chocolate and grated coconut, at first bite was delicious but then it began to taste too sweet and tough to cut. Service was nice and attentive. Will definitely come back for their other dishes and coffee!

    Amazing cinnamon rolls!

I stopped by on Christmas Eve hoping to purchase a cinnamon roll. Unaware that the bakery was closed, silly me, I parked and walked up to the entrance. Noticing a car parked in front and the place being closed, I turned back to return to my car. A woman asked if I needed anything. I explained that I realized they were closed, but she asked what I had been hoping to get. When I mentioned a cinnamon roll, she informed me that she was the owner and she would grab one, and when I offered to pay she kindly declined. She returned shortly after with two cinnamon rolls, though I asked for one and wished me a Merry Christmas. Her generosity was incredibly thoughtful and truly made my day. I am so grateful! I couldn't believe I met the face behind the very place I love! I used to visit this bakery regularly when I lived in Costa Mesa, and it remains one of my favorite spots. It is a charming bakery with exceptional food. I especially love sitting in the garden--both the front and back are beautiful. From the coffee to the baked goods, everything is consistently excellent.

It's a quick service type of spot, and you see quite a few people studying as well. Starting off, we ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni, the parmesan fries, and the poke bowl, and the cashier at the front was very nice and accommodating with recommendations and questions we had. After we ordered, we sat down and were quickly served with our strawberry lemonade and blueberry mint lemonade, which were both pretty solid a bit on the tart side. Shortly after, we were served with all the dishes we ordered. I was not expecting to like the poke bowl so much, it had tuna, avocado, rice, cucumber and veggies, and the poke was super tasty, great texture and surprisingly fresh. I loved all the textures in the bowl. Into the parmesan truffle fries, they were super hot, very crispy, loved how much parmesan was on top, but I wish it had a little more truffle as some bites tasted more like truffle than the other. It came in a super big, shareable portion which I loved. Lastly the spicy vodka rigatoni, very solid pasta, I liked how it was cooked all dente, not overcooked. Came very hot as well which I loved. It was a solid pasta, but nothing too crazy. Overall the service was great, I love how quick the service was. The ambience was lovely, you can come here to catch up with friends, or have a nice study session, or a cute date spot! The food was solid, but I would say if u come here definitely get the poke bowl! Super delicious and fresh!! Highly recommend you try this spot!

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry! Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.

It's a beautiful spot for brunch, mid afternoon snack or gathering spot with friends for dinner. The vibe is Newport relaxed quietly trendy. But let's get on with the food. In the morning if they have the monkey bread in stock don't skip on it. Their avocado toast is exceptionally well done. In the afternoon I recommend their dips and cocktails. They are on the lighter side. The star of the show for me right now is their dinner deals. Recently the restaurant has been doing weeknight specials that really are SPECIAL. Kudos to the chef who did Thursday Parma Chicken night (6/11). We started with a cold draft of Peroni Italian beer. Followed by a plate of Parma chicken, salad and frites. The chicken was other worldly. It was huge! Somehow still crispy with speckles of sesame, even with a layer of melted mozzarella, ham and fresh whole leaves of basil. Fries were thick and perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Two sauces accompanied the plate. A tomatoey one and a creamy aioli for dipping. The salad was fresh and lightly seasoned. At $25 for the whole meal including drink is the best deal in Eastside Costa Mesa. The only critique I have is the beer could have been colder. The salad a little bigger (it was delicious). The courtyard heating lamp a little more ample. Thursday night Parm night went so well, I came back to try their Steak and Frites with Wine on Tuesday night. For $35 it comes with a light French red. You could get a white or an-alcoholic wine. I prefer a deeper red but their choice was probably picked to be the most pleasing for most folks. The salad and frites were well executed as Thursday night. They never asked how we wanted the steak done but delivered perfectly cooked steaks. Seared and slightly crisped on the outside and pink to red center. Their compound pat of butter on top was delicious (I cannot tell what is in it but delicious). They also had two sauces accompanying the plate. One was a grainy mustard that went very well with the steak and the other was their creamy aioli. If you want a great deal and great food try them out for their Tues or Thur special. Go now before word gets out and they get too busy to book a table. I plan to be here this summer for them.
