    Strawberry Croffles
    Vania B.

People will make croissant-anything nowadays with most being overpriced and tasting average. But this croffle is actually so good! Let me explain: It has that crispy flaky outer layer just like a croissant and soft chewy inside just like a croissant/waffle. Perfect texture. It's also reasonably priced (compared to cronuts or spiral croissants). Plain version is about $3 and version with toppings is about $6. Sad they're in NewPark Mall which is even more dead than before. But hey, it means it's easy to find parking and you'll get fast service because they're not crowded. You can find seating at the food court nearby. I'll be coming back if I'm in the area.

What a hidden charm ! This caught my eye while walking in the mall(located upstairs by food court) The food is soooo good everything is made fresh once ordered Service was GREAT, I missed the young lady name but she was helpful and had great answers to all my curious questions. Ambiance is cute as far as the set up. If you are looking to sit down be mindful the food court area is nearby. 10/10

We have ordered waffles (croffles) and both of them are excellent. We have ordered the triple chocolate and the Nutella waffles. Plenty of respective toppings and the waffles are hot and crunchy. Will definitely go back again.

Adding a review to hopefully help this spot get more visibility. I thought this place was pretty good for the price and would come back. [[ Location ]] The small amount of reviews is probably due to the fact that it's located in New Park Mall which is kind of dead right now until they get more stores in this area. It's on the 2nd floor near Cold Stone Creamery and Wetzel's Pretzels. [[ Service ]] The staff I thought were pretty nice but since the croffles are made "fresh to order", it can take a while to get your order if a lot of people are also waiting. [[ Food ]] I never had croffles before so I wasn't sure what to expect but I found it to be a pretty good snack. They seem to use a croissant batter and cook it in a waffle iron. Overall, I thought for $4.50 to $5.50, this was a pretty decent deal as the croffles were decently large. We got: 1.) Strawberry Croffle 2.) Biscoff Croffle Both were pretty good in my opinion but my Strawberry Croffle had a chemical taste to it. Maybe I got the first batch of it when they cooked it and it had some leftover spray? Not 100% sure. The Biscoff Croffle was much better with no chemical taste Hoping this place survives so I can try more creations later on.

Customer service is amazing nice and friendly Food: waffle is cold the cream did not give cream cheese flavoring only thing good was the cookie but we all know Biscoff are good alone not worth the $6 Looks amazing taste was lacking

We DoorDash from this place for late breakfast one morning. My sister placed order on their app! We end up on ordering more than just coffee, we ordered couple of croffles to share with our kiddos. Coffee was on point, I'm a coffee girl so they tasted good to my taste buds (they use Peet's coffee for theri iced coffees) ! Now let's talk about their Nutella Croffle, that thing is AMAAAzing! It was warm and crispy and warm Nutella, it was a great combo! So yummy so rich, you've to share with others. Can't wait to go try their food in person, I know it's gona be even better.

    Oreo Croffle ($5.50)

I've wanted to try a croffle (croissant + waffle = croffle) ever since I saw them popping up all over NYC. It looks like they're making their way over to the Bay Area as more dessert places are starting to serve them. This stand is near the food court in the Newpark Mall. We tried the Oreo croffle ($5.50), which ended up tasting exactly the way I expected. The croissant is carmelized with the sugar and lightly crispy -- the base tasted just like a kouign amann to me. The Oreo topping was pretty good, but slightly on the sweeter side. The stand says that they are made to order and always fresh, but we saw a bunch of croffles sitting out and ours was cold. If this was actually made fresh and warm, it would be amazing. Even though these are considered more of a trendy / fad dessert, I thought they were pretty good and prefer them over waffles since they're less dense and less sweet.

Croffles & Co. opens where Jamba Juice once was, next to Coldstone Creamery. just across from the food court. croffles are marketed as a "marriage' of a croissant and a waffle. seems more half baked: crunchy outer texture, soft melty interior, no flaky layers. croffles are croissant dough partially baked in a waffle unit. it's a European creation, configured with Korean upgrades ala an hot dog. it's interesting, worth trying at least once. offerings: peet's coffee, varieties of croffles, popping boba ade drinks eats: croffle with strawberry & cream (5.50) freshly made -freshly made croffles make an huge difference, nice contrast of outer chewiness and innard softness. fresh strawberries, cream, powdered sugar a nice touch. the warm texture with the cold cream adds contrast. -off the shelf versions or reheated croffles are dull by comparison. -difficult to eat with a fork, just grabbing like a pastry and biting it was the easiest way to eat it... -interesting dessert to eat occasionally but not often. crumbs: -plenty of seating in food court nearby.

3.5/5 Croissant + Waffle = Croffle Passing by and had to check this spot out. I walked in and one of the employees had her hands full with whipped cream but still greeted me and let me know she would be with me shortly. I checked out their menu and she walked up to the register and took my order. I ordered a Nutella Croffle and a Strawberry Croffle. I imagined I would wait about 15 minutes for them to make it fresh but realized the glass display was actually the Croffle they were serving you. She packed both orders and handed me the boxes and walked away. Another employee walked up and asked if I needed a bag and she carefully placed both in the bag. She thanked me and I was on my way. The presentation of each Croffle is beautiful. The Nutella was simple but very sweet. The glaze that each Croffle has is almost like a simple syrup glaze and you add the topping and it is very sweet treat. The texture was very good. The strawberry Croffle also had whipped cream which I was not a fan of. It did not taste good at all. Almost like a chemical taste to it. The strawberries were fine but after staying out that long they do get dry. This is a very sweet treat! The concept itself is good but I would prefer to wait 15 minutes for a fresh Croffle versus one that has been in the display for hours.

    Strawberry Croffles, Original Croffles

I didn't expect much when I walked by this place at the mall but it caught my boyfriends attention!! Honestly I was expecting it to be too sweet and heavy. We got the original and strawberry one, it was honestly REALLY GOOD!! The cream on the strawberry was very light, it wasn't too sweet and I liked how the strawberries added a little bit of sour and refreshing (I don't like my strawberries too sweet)!! The original was also good it was just pretty basic. My only complaint was that the croffle didnt come out super warm, even though it wasn't warm it was still really good and airy [It would have been even better warm] They have a lot of flavors that I definitely want to come back to try! The cream cheese, nutella, biscoff, matcha and cheese look very promising. I came back another day to try to matcha and cream cheese croffle! It was still good but the croffle was too sweet :( It was maybe coated in like a sugar shell.

    William V.

Pretty solid croffle. However, I wish it was warmer - it would've been a lot better. The cream on the strawberry waffle was too sweet for my liking but the fresh strawberries were a plus. I would like the strawberry cream to feel a bit more light and refreshing than just sweet. The cream cheese croffle was simple but solid. Too much cream cheese made it overly sweet but I just wiped off some of the cream cheese. I think this place has great potential and would be really good with a few simple touches.

We were walking around the mall and stumbled upon Croffles & Co. Croissant + Waffle sounded pretty delicious. We ordered the strawberry croffle. It was nice and warm. Flaky croissant texture inside with the more crispy texture of a waffle on the outside. Very pretty. We enjoyed it so much that we got our toddler a plain one to try. To me it seemed a bit pricey but maybe that's what croffles go for. There was only one person who was working and was very nice. It's right across from the food court. One of the few snack places still around.

Yummy. Delicious, tried the Biscoff flavor and it was fire. Loved that it was warm and flaky. Can't wait to come back and try other flavors like matcha and strawberry.

The interior was clean and the display was catchy. Their pricing is lower than other shops I have frequented. They also offer a Senior discount if ordered in person. The employee who was working did not have good customer service skills. She immediately directed me to the self serve kiosk. When I asked her if I can apply the discount there, she gave me a displeased look, flipped the tablet toward her, and said I'll help you here. I wished the menu included a description of each drink's ingredients. When I asked the employee, she seemed annoyed and answered so quickly that I had to request her to repeat what she said several times. Each time, she became more impatient. I opted for the lychee with tea jelly. I've had different types of jelly, yet never tried tea jelly. It had a good, strong tea flavor. Unfortunately, the drink itself was watery and I could barely taste the lychee. My son opted for the Lucky Jasmine milk tea and also said his drink tasted watered down. My friend who is not particular did not really care for her King mango pomelo either. Even though I didn't receive courteous service and our drinks were just mid, I still left a nominal tip. I worked in the service industry throughout HS and college and tips were always helpful. There's an old adage - "You get what you pay for". And in this case, we did, receiving average service and average product. Next time we are in town, we will try elsewhere, with the hope of better service and better tasting tea.

The cake itself is delicious, but what makes it interesting is the type of fruit they use -- not Medjool or the usual Middle Eastern dates, but jujube (often called Chinese dates). Feb 21: For our first visit, we ordered quite a spread: the chocolate mochi bun, honey osmanthus cake, jujube cake, a loaf of chocolate bread (because there's no such thing as too much chocolate), and the pork floss with salted egg bread. The concept behind the pastries was appealing, which explains why we bought so much on our first trip. That said, the execution felt a little uneven. The osmanthus notes in the honey osmanthus cake didn't quite come through, the chocolate bun lacked depth of flavor, and the pork floss with salted egg bread turned slightly burnt even though we followed the heating instructions. Still, we were glad to have discovered the bakery. It's definitely worth a try.

The consistency of these boba drinks isn't too watery. Also in terms of the flavor the dirty boba drinks isn't too sweet that you can get a sugar rush. There are several boba drink places that serve food. What makes Feng Cha Teahouse different from other places that serve food is the milk foam cakes. I could be wrong, but I don't see milk foam cakes sold at other boba places. The milk foam cake served at Feng Cha Teahouse is light and airy. The flavors of the milk foam cake provide a texture similar to cheese souffle. My favorite milk foam cake at Feng Cha Teahouse is the sea salt pearl. It's like dirty boba on a foam cake. The pistachio flavor tastes rich and legit without being overly sweet or covering up the coffee. A lot of pistachio drinks at other spots taste like artificial syrup, but this one is smooth, balanced, and actually complements the espresso. I also love seeing that deep green color in the clear cups--it just looks so aesthetic and makes the drink feel even more authentic. Honestly, 9 out of 10 times, this is what I'm ordering. If it's your first time here, PLEASE get it. Thankfully my husband is always down to be adventurous and order something different so we can still guarantee at least one pistachio latte on the table lol. His go-to is the Qamaria Latte with oatmilk, sometimes with cold foam. It sounds simple--espresso, steamed milk, cardamom, and cinnamon--but it tastes like comfort in a cup. The cardamom and cinnamon make it feel warm, cozy, and layered without punching you in the face with sugar. Nothing tastes artificial here. Everything feels intentional and made with care. Also, whether you dine in or take it to-go, the drinks always look cute. I LOVE the dine-in presentation though. The iced drinks come in clear glass cups so you can see all the layers, and the hot drinks come in these thick ceramic mugs that make the experience feel extra cozy. And I'm such a sucker for their tray setup too--everything matches the aesthetic so well and makes coffee dates here feel extra special. And don't even get me started on the milk cakes because they are dangerously good. My fave is the Biscoff milk cake. It's super soft, creamy, rich, and has the perfect caramelized cookie flavor without being too sweet. It paired sooo well with the warm spices in the coffee. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- Each barista I ever had was kind and super chill. I never felt rushed and they took their time answering questions. It sounds pretty simple but I feel like even with how busy it can get, they pace themselves accordingly behind the counter so that they are intentional and patient with their customers, and work in a consistent pace that gets drinks done in time and hands them off with care. Very contrast to a cafe where baristas are working so fast-paced that their interactions are short and it feels like that they just want to get the drink over with and passed off to the customer. It all goes back to Qamaria's baristas being intentional with the way that they work. Keep doin' your thing y'all. Love the flow. _______________________________________________________ --- A M B I A N C E -- It's funny because the first time my husband and I pulled up was after dinner on a Friday night. He was feenin' for coffee and was like, "What's even open this late?" Yoooo, finding out Qamaria Yemeni Coffee was open until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays instantly made us happy because now we got a late-night spot whenever the cravings hit. Most nights they're open until midnight too, which is dangerous lol. And let me tell you... this place gets CRACKIN'. We came around 10:30 PM and the line was out the door, but I'm so glad we stayed because the drinks changed our life. Even on a random weekday when I met up with a homegirl, we looked up from yappin' for hours and suddenly the line was wrapped outside again. Trust--it's worth the wait. The inside is warm, modern, and culturally rich without feeling forced or overly trendy. The arches, lighting, patterned seating, earthy tones, and artwork make the whole space feel cozy and intentional. Even when it's packed, it still feels welcoming and communal--honestly just proof this is THE spot to be no matter the time of day. People are studying, catching up with friends and fam, working, or just vibing over coffee, and it somehow all works together perfectly. It's the type of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile instead of grabbing your drink and leaving.

Excellent savory bites, in addition to sweets and drinks (the cheesecakes are very sweet). Would…read morelike to order a pot of coffee next time. For drinks, order half sweet or no sweet
