Jen graciously offered samples and they are delicious!!! I ordered matcha, browned butter chocolate chip, black sesame and strawberry & cream flavors! My boys will love them for sure. Jen is also very friendly. If you need catering services, she can do it too!

I ordered two dozen cookies from Jen's Doughjo for my friend's Sesame Street-themed party, and if Cookie Monster himself had shown up, he would've devoured them on sight! We chose three flavors: Strawberry Cookies & Cream, Browned Butter Chocolate Chip, and Snickerdoodle. We also got an exclusive sneak peek of Jen's upcoming drop: Black Sesame Doodle Swirl. Every single cookie was a hit! Cookie connoisseurs, picky eaters, and guests who "weren't even hungry" were all going back for seconds. My personal favorite? Strawberry Cookies & Cream. It's everything the name promises. The strawberry comes through subtly, balanced by chunks of Oreo cookies swirled into a rich, buttery cookie base. You get that nostalgic, bittersweet cocoa flavor from the Oreos layered perfectly with the strawberry. It's unique and totally addictive. The Browned Butter Chocolate Chip was a close second. The brown butter adds a warm, toasty depth that elevates the classic, and the texture is spot on. Crisp edges with that perfectly chewy center. The Black Sesame Doodle Swirl was another crowd favorite! Fragrant, nutty, and unexpectedly delicious. Whether she's putting a fresh twist on a classic or introducing a creative new flavor combo, Jen nails the balance every time. Her cookies aren't overly sweet, have the perfect amount of chew, and are delightfully indulgent without ever feeling heavy. Bottom line: Jen knows her cookies. Whether you're planning a party, looking for a standout gift, or just treating yourself, these are next-level cookies worth every bite.

Omg I can taste the authentic flavors in each cookie. Jen puts thought and quality ingredients in these gorgeous cookies. I hope kids and grownups will enjoy them as much as we do!

I love black sesame and original cookies! The best! Bought a couple to try out and fundraise for the school and I should have bought more so I ate them up in 8 bites!

Love Jen's cookies! All of her cookies are so soft and chewy! I always order for parties or get together!

I tried this bakery cookies and they were honestly so good. The Banana Coffee Toffee cookie was my favorite, they are soft, rich, and perfectly balanced, not too sweet but full of flavor. You can really taste the banana and toffee together in the best way. The Strawberry Cookies & Cream was a big hit with my kid, he loved it and asked for more!

Jen's Doughjo haul! Got one of everything!

There's no seating area inside the bakery, but there are some tables outside next to a water fountain. Of the times that I've been there, it's mostly empty and clean, and the trash bins are not overflowing. The donuts are absolutely delicious. The brioche donut is soft but holds the fillings in well. There's also a bit of crunch from the sugar on the outside of the donut. There's an ample amount of filling, so you get to taste the flavors. So far, my favorites are Irish cream, lemon blueberry, and banana cream. It is a bit messy to eat, so have napkins and a small plate to catch any sugar or filling that may fall out when you bite into it. We had their chocolate chip cookie. It looked like a big mound of baked dough. Overall, it was okay. I would easily skip this for the donuts instead. I haven't tried their coffees, but my daughter loves the hot chocolate, and I have been enjoying their calamansi juice. It's nice and tart, not too sweet. I have seen some savory options but have not tried them. I will be back to explore the menu.

The Brown Cheese Vanilla Croffle was definitely the highlight--crispy on the outside, soft inside, topped with creamy vanilla ice cream and rich brown cheese that added the perfect sweet and savory flavor. The Pistachio Matcha was smooth and well-balanced, and the Corn Einspanner was surprisingly delicious with its creamy corn foam. I probably should've ordered tea and not coffee at a shop called ChaChaCha? Cha is Chinese for tea! Of course husband last minute says day of birthday celebration that we need a cake. Found Izumi…read moreCakes on Yelp and was bummed at first because the soonest online reservation for a cake would be two days later. Husband called them around 11am and they said they were in the middle of making their strawberry cakes so they could add our order in for a same day pickup at 4pm. Pickup went well and the cake was so cute and it tasted great! Like the Chinese bakery strawberry cream cake with a moist sponge cake; not too sweet, just right. Might sound basic but it was done very well. Would 100% recommend. I don't know prices for cakes nowadays but I didn't feel bad paying about $60 for a cute and tasty cake (6", strawberry cream cake). I wouldn't bank on same day pickups, I might've just been very lucky they were in the middle of making their cakes but it wouldn't hurt to try calling early in the day if you're in a pinch for a solid cake. I'm very thankful for their service!

This spot is takeout-only, so don't plan on stopping by for long. Finding parking isn't difficult…read morebut might take a minute on busy days, as it shares a parking lot with the rest of a popular plaza. The store itself is easy to find as well, with a clear label outside. Walking in, it looks half-closed--their cakes are all stored in a large refrigerator, with nothing in the case on the counter. There is a sign proclaiming "takeout only" in slight disarray, and the seating is pushed to the side. That said, the service is friendly and the employees are quick to help you and show you what they have in stock for takeout. I ordered the 4" Berry Berry Light Cake for a birthday, and they were able to write a birthday message on the cake board, which I really appreciated. The cake also tasted very light and the sweetness was subtle, which I really enjoyed. The berry flavor in the sponge was a little too subtle, though. My main concern is that the cake does not fully resemble the picture they advertised online. It is missing the freeze-dried berries on top, and the berry glaze did not reach as far down the cake as was shown in the photo. Because the berry glaze is the main source of the berry flavor, this was a little disappointing. Also, the cake was not finished when I came to pick up the cake (and I was ~5 minutes late). I'm uncertain if this is for freshness or if there is another reason. Overall, I like the spot for the fresh and light cake. It's pleasantly unique compared to your standard sheet cake, and everything is rather cute. However, it may be a better idea to buy the cakes in-person to be 100% sure of what it will look like, though daily stock is definitely more limited than if you place an order online. I hope they reopen their indoor seating soon.
