This is a very unique spot with coffee, beer, and a bike store all in one. The server was very nice and the drink was made in a few mins. I like how there's both indoor and outdoor seating, and their bathrooms are clean. I got the dirty chai where I could definitely taste the espresso. I also like how they had complimentary chocolates at the front!

Über cool bike shop which also serves coffee, brews their own beer and has food - on this day they were offering cheddar cheese grilled cheese sandwiches or locally made pho. The beer was quite tasty - I'm not really into beer and even I liked it! Loved our sandwiches and the vibe. My husband is an avid cyclist and enjoyed chatting with the employees and purchasing some merch.

Saw this bike shop and cafe while in town for business and knew I had to stop by. I am in my new "happy place". Bikes and Beer! I got a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich and one of their IPAs. Both were delicious. Of course, I had to also do some shopping at the bike shop itself. The staff is super-friendly and helpful.

Stopped in for a tasting flight of the ales on hand... Yard Sale DIPA (7.4% ABV) (4 stars on Untappd) SMASH Pale Ale (5.9% ABV) (2.75 stars on Untappd) Hellwig IPA (6.8% ABV) (3.25 stars on Untappd) Chamios Cream Ale (5.3% ABV) (2 stars on Untappd) For my palate - the star of the show was undoubtedly the Yard Sale DIPA - it is a full bodied, full flavored DIPA, robust and balanced in it's hoppiness! Tasty! The other ales were a little on the soft side from a flavor profile perspective. Service was very good - and the young lady running the brewery area - serving up ales and food was very friendly! #BikeLaneBrewingandCafe

    Fantastic Kölsch!

Great beer and easy to find location. If you Balikpapan it is right on the W&OD so you can stop and grab a beer and a snack. The bike shop is attached so you can get parts, rent or just look for a new bike. Nice setup and a good selection of beer. I am partial to the Kölsch

What a funky little spot. They had me at a black IPA. They have limited food - but we were just there for the beer.

Cool concept - right off the W&OD trail too! They have a nice patio right outside to enjoy your beer or coffee on a break from your ride.

Flat beer. Soup warmed in the microwave then served in the plastic container it came from the store in. Wasn't worth the trip

I'm glad I was with them, since the location is tucked away up the stairs and would be easy to miss if you are passing by. However, inside was very airy and spacious with many cozy options for seating. I ordered my chai with oat milk and a cinnamon roll from the friendly cashier. She asked if I wanted to warm my roll, and I agreed with the suggestion. Once we had our order, we headed to the couch to enjoy our brunch. The chai was delicious and had a nice peppery kick. It even came with a little cookie! I also really enjoyed the cinnamon roll, which was especially packed with spiced goodness at the warm center. I loved that everyone from studying students to large families could enjoy the indoor and outdoor space. Even with a fairly steady flow of customers, we were able to relax in the sunny couch area without feeling rushed. I would definitely return here for another chai and some breakfast in the future!

I did not try the food so can't comment on it.

Nevertheless I never had an issue when I went. I thought the ambiance was very nice. The seating is cute and when you order "for here" they serve you in a very cute mug. The space is unique and cozy, filled with romantic decor that makes it feel like home. The food and pastries are just as amazing as the atmosphere. I tried their rose latte, topped with delicate rose petals. It was so pretty and uniquely flavorful. I've also tried their pesto poulet sandwich (baguette, pesto chicken, tomato, green pepper, and mozzarella cheese) and it was super yum! The chocolate hazelnut pastry is a perfect companion for the coffee, and you can ask for your pastry to be warmed up, which is even better. Bonus: they serve the coffee in a cute mug, which is such a nice touch. Love when I can have my coffee in a mug! Employees are nice, and the service is great! Plenty of seating and parking is easy. This café is perfect for a relaxed morning, brunch, or an afternoon treat. I am already planning my next visit!

AMAZING! Overall, great coffee shop! I true hidden gem!

I have found the coffee shop I didn't know I was looking for…read more My wife told me I needed to check out Weird Brothers Coffee because, as she put it, "You're a huge Star Wars nerd. You're going to love this place." She knows me well. Walking into Weird Brothers feels a little like stumbling into the cantina after taking a wrong turn through Mos Eisley. The place is loaded with Star Wars, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and Nightmare Before Christmas memorabilia. As a longtime Star Wars fan and hardcore comic collector, I immediately went into "Okay, let's see what they have" mode. And that's before even getting to the coffee. Weird Brothers roasts their own beans and has a bunch of sci-fi-themed blends. The names alone had me reaching for my wallet. I'm the kind of person who will buy a comic because it says "First Appearance" on the bag, so naturally I'm susceptible to coffee with a geeky name. They even have a special blend for the CrossFit gym next door, which I thought was a pretty cool touch. Nothing says community partnership quite like supplying caffeine to people voluntarily throwing heavy objects around at 6 a.m. Supporting your neighboring businesses? +5 reputation points. Now, about the food... Come here for the coffee. When we visited, they were completely out of the breakfast sandwiches. The remaining options were quiches, so we grabbed the ham & cheese and spinach. Unfortunately, they weren't freshly made and were simply reheated. They were perfectly edible, but definitely more "side quest" than "main storyline." The Americano, however, was good. That's what brought me back to the primary mission: coffee and geeky stuff. I definitely want to return and pick up a few bags of their beans. At this point, I'm basically looking at the coffee menu the same way I look at a wall of long boxes at a comic shop: "I don't need all of these... but I should probably check every single one just in case there's a key." Four stars for the coffee, atmosphere, in-house roasting, and ridiculous amount of geek cred. The food kept this from going to five stars, but I'll absolutely be back. Now excuse me while I go investigate these coffee blends like I'm hunting for a first appearance of Boba Fett in a stack of back issues. May the roast be with you.
