Saw this bike shop and cafe while in town for business and knew I had to stop by. I am in my new "happy place". Bikes and Beer! I got a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich and one of their IPAs. Both were delicious. Of course, I had to also do some shopping at the bike shop itself. The staff is super-friendly and helpful.

Stopped in for a tasting flight of the ales on hand... Yard Sale DIPA (7.4% ABV) (4 stars on Untappd) SMASH Pale Ale (5.9% ABV) (2.75 stars on Untappd) Hellwig IPA (6.8% ABV) (3.25 stars on Untappd) Chamios Cream Ale (5.3% ABV) (2 stars on Untappd) For my palate - the star of the show was undoubtedly the Yard Sale DIPA - it is a full bodied, full flavored DIPA, robust and balanced in it's hoppiness! Tasty! The other ales were a little on the soft side from a flavor profile perspective. Service was very good - and the young lady running the brewery area - serving up ales and food was very friendly! #BikeLaneBrewingandCafe

Fantastic Kölsch!

Great beer and easy to find location. If you Balikpapan it is right on the W&OD so you can stop and grab a beer and a snack. The bike shop is attached so you can get parts, rent or just look for a new bike. Nice setup and a good selection of beer. I am partial to the Kölsch

What a funky little spot. They had me at a black IPA. They have limited food - but we were just there for the beer.

Cool concept - right off the W&OD trail too! They have a nice patio right outside to enjoy your beer or coffee on a break from your ride.

Flat beer. Soup warmed in the microwave then served in the plastic container it came from the store in. Wasn't worth the trip

Lovely place! Great food and location. Shaded large outdoor patio, quiet room upstairs.read more

The location is wonderful, and the community has a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately,…read morethe food does not live up to the setting. I ordered the salmon and avocado sandwich. The salmon did not taste fresh or well prepared--it was drenched in oil, which overwhelmed the flavor. It gave the impression that it had not been cooked with much care. The avocado was fine, but there were only three very small pieces on the entire sandwich, making it difficult to even notice. Instead, the sandwich was loaded with mayonnaise, to the point where it tasted more like a mayonnaise sandwich than a salmon and avocado sandwich. Considering the price, I expected much better quality. This café has an excellent location and a lot of potential, but it seems that the kitchen is not receiving the attention it deserves. Investing in better food preparation--or providing additional training for the kitchen staff--would make a significant difference. A good sandwich does not require complicated techniques, and avoiding excessively oily fish is a basic part of preparing a quality meal. I left disappointed with the food. The café has everything it needs to provide a great dining experience, but the quality simply does not match the price. I hope the owners take customer feedback seriously because this place has the potential to be much better.

Celebrated my mom's birthday last night. It was amazing!! We were greeted as soon as we entered…read more They were very friendly and accommodating. They seated us at a table that was too small, I have a tall son and boyfriend. Without hesitation they moved us to another table. The menu is not 500 pages like some restaurants. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes and Onion Rings... The FGT were so delicious! It came with Goat Cheese and Green Goddess, the best thing I've ever tasted! I will definitely be a frequent flyer for this reason alone. I had the Scallop Risotto which was amazing!!!!! My son ate his entire meal which is rare. My bf didn't know what to choose and ended up getting 2 meals and finishing both. He had the Lamb Chops... After trying a bite, my life was changed. It was so tender and delicious. Melted in your mouth. Our waiter Kevin was top notch. He was very attentive and even made sure to prepare a birthday treat for my mom. Which was a surprise! I asked to speak to a manager, which I like to do so they know when they are doing good, not just getting the complaints. Usually when I ask for a manager the waiter gets an attitude, but Kevin wasn't concerned in the least. The manager came over and looked nervous. I told him it was the best experience we've had in a while when dining out. My only complaint... The lighting in the bathroom is basically non existent (the manager is aware and he said they are actively working on it). So all in all, you have to visit Founding Farmers in Reston. Tell Kevin we said hey!

John R is an outstanding bartender who knows his craft, is very nice and really just enjoyable to talk to and be around. He takes the time to ask how you're doing, and he'll remember your name after your first visit. The bar has a wonderful selection of drinks, and they're all different and interesting. Most are not just standard classic drinks, but rather ones that feature a spin on such drinks. For example, they don't just serve an old fashioned, because everyone's had one, but they have a coconut old fashioned that is unique and I'd definitely recommend that one. Their food a little pricier than other options around, but it is very good. You can tell the their food is made from scratch, and the quality of ingredients is very apparent, and for that, I do pay their prices. Their coffee and pastries are amazing, sometimes I just go for a little morning coffee and donut break. Try their Jefferson donuts, simply amazing. If you're in the area, this is a great place to stop by, no matter time of day. Grab coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner or happy hour, you won't be disappointed.

It is in the general area - but according to Google maps - the Reston Metro Station is about 0.4 miles (10 minute walk) from Cosmos Cafe. Cosmos Cafe is behind a gate in an office building complex - but there is free parking just outside the gate (I've parked in the free parking outside the gate every time I've visited Cosmos Cafe - it's about less than a one minute walk to Cosmos Cafe from the parking just outside the gate). Cosmos Cafe stops serving breakfast at 11:00 am - and this is stated on their menu on the wall behind the register. I've had their Cold Brew, as well as their Breakfast Burrito (Scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, and cheese). Very filling and tasty! I've also had a side of crispy bacon. The Cold Brew was good as well! There is a limited number of tables to eat in at. Paid with Apple Pay. Service was good! #CosmosCafe

The space is unique and cozy, filled with romantic decor that makes it feel like home. The food and pastries are just as amazing as the atmosphere. I've also tried their pesto poulet sandwich (baguette, pesto chicken, tomato, green pepper, and mozzarella cheese) and it was super yum! The chocolate hazelnut pastry is a perfect companion for the coffee, and you can ask for your pastry to be warmed up, which is even better.
