I treat all my customers with respect and kindness. I am one of the kindest contractors you will come across. But for you to question my honesty is an insult." Transparency and clear communication are essential in good business practice. Any professional contractor should state upfront: "$2,100 cash, +4% if paying by card." I called him for a second opinion after SoCal Gas claimed I had a gas leak -- and I'm so glad I…read moredid. He was incredibly thorough, going through multiple approaches to isolate the issue and leaving absolutely no doubt that there was no leak. He even told me straight up that a repipe wasn't necessary based on what he found. That kind of honesty, when he easily could have upsold me, says everything about his character. By the end, he was just as baffled as I was that SoCal Gas had flagged an issue. Rather than leaving me to figure it out on my own, he walked me through all of his troubleshooting step by step so I could relay it to the technician when getting retested. He followed up consistently throughout the whole ordeal and genuinely expressed concern that I was without gas. I passed the retest, and I truly believe his guidance played a big part in that. On installation day Christian and Esteban came out and started the two day process. They were professional and let me know exactly what they were doing. The second day was install and again very professional and communicative. They ran into a small issue (not their doing) and stayed late to fix it. Their supervisor Gabriel came out to assist and they stayed until 9pm (with my consent) to get me up and running. They left my house immaculate and my new system is AMAZING! They do need to come back out for a quick follow up because 9pm was late enough. If I have any different experience with that I will follow up my review, but at this point, I cannot say enough great things about J&M.
