Service was okay not great. The food was the same. Drinks were good, the prices were decent. The ambience was a bit off. I liked the music but there were some strange songs with a lot of cursing. I never mind a good expletive, I only mention it incase you or someone in your party would be sensitive to the language. I felt like the unique songs were funny to me and my party. There were 6 of us and not many people in the bar. We went on a Sunday night around 9pm. The parking was a bit tricky. You can park on the street or they do have some parking in the back. It is an older building, so the flow of the space is a little broken up. They have an outdoor area that allows smoking, but I did not go out there because no one else in my party or smokers. I recommend the Crowjito. Thank you for the delicious drinks.

I stopped in last weekend to check out the bar, as I haven't act been inside before. The bar staff was very friendly and was quick to bring our food and drinks. Even though we arrived after 10 we were still able to order food, I was happy that their kitchen stayed open a little later than some of the other bars around. I only ended up with the Mac and cheese bites, and I definitely liked them. The bar itself was fairly clean, they have a decent sized patio in the back, but it was way too cold for me to check it out. Otherwise, it seems like a small but decent bar on state street, prices were reasonable.

Visited a couple times recently. The food was pretty good. Don't try the burgers -- they are greasy as hell. Opt for the nachos instead. They had a bingo night. Right as I was gonna leave, decided to stay and participate. Ended up winning a game and had a few more beers. Ceilings are low. Bathroom clean. People are friendly. Good beer selection.

I've always driven past the place, so decided to finally go there for dinner. It didn't look like much of a place. It's a storefront with the windows covered, so if you didn't know that it's a bar you'd miss it. The inside was really nice and clean for it being a bar. The lighting is low, and sort of a crow theme, but not over the top. The patio area looks amazing. They do have a pool table area, but I didn't check it out. Now on to the food! The food was surprisingly really good for it being a bar. The mac and cheese bites was really good. You get a surprising beautiful cheese pull when eating it. Both the sandwich and quesadilla is good - nothing special to write home about. The chicken wings was cooked to perfection. It wasn't dry at all. It was perfectly sauced. I do wish the chicken wings was seasoned a little bit more, if it wasn't for the sauce I think the chicken would have been bland. Pro tip: I highly recommend getting their holy crow sauce on the side. One of the best sauce ever! It's sweet, tangy and spicy! When we went the bar was empty, so service was amazing. I'm not sure how the service would be if it's during brunch time or any busy time.

Looking for some GREAT appetizers, a brew and a delicious burger? Well, welcome to the Crow and the Pitcher! This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. First off, this little bar has a great small town or neighborhood feel to it--I was immediately reminded of the many roadside bars you find driving through rural areas in the Midwest. It just felt cozy. For appetizers, we had the wings and the the Reuben egg rolls. Oh my!!! Both were just delicious, and I even loved the chopped celery and bleu cheese concoction that accompanied the wings (as opposed to the traditional carrot and celery sticks). My blues burger and fries were also tasty, though admittedly I preferred the apps. Oh, and the draft Hefeweizen was excellent! And perhaps the best part? Get this ... two appetizers, two burgers each with fries and a couple of beers all in was just $48! Amazing! Service was great and deserving of a generous tip. You just don't often find great neighborhood watering holes like the Crow very often, especially in Utah. This place is unique, and well worth a visit.

A group of friends and I came here after playing 3 sets of tennis. One of my friends had been here before. We were especially happy to find out that they serve food. My boyfriend and got garlic burgers and fries. They were pretty good, but I think I'd order the reuben egg roll next time. That looks like fun finger food and I'm sorry I didn't notice that on the menu. We really liked the offerings of craft beers. I got a house tequila shot with salt and lime and a lager I'd never had before. It's called the Heavy Metal Parking Lot by Saltfire Brewing Co. I'd for sure order that again. Our server was cool. Service was quick. The place is a little dive and I like the look and vibe. It's casual, welcoming, and relaxing. I especially loved their E.T. poster near the bathrooms. Hope to go back ASAP! I had a good time there.

The drinks were great but the service was rough. We tried two separate times and we had to flag down drinks constantly. We ordered food we never got. We had to chase the waitress to get our check. They seemed under staffed so I feel bad for getting down on her but also I don't want to have to fight to get drinks or wait for food that will never come. I wanted to be more impressed. This place was pretty good but it is still bar food. Don't get me wrong, I like a good dive bar as much as the next Utahan (lol) but there was really nothing that knocked my socks off. If I order a martini and you serve it to me in a tumbler I don't think it should be $10. Also, telling me you don't have martini glasses because you have no room for them is kind of an excuse; I could fit a another bar behind that bar. I would go again if I'm in the area, but I probably won't drive there on purpose. read more

FIVE STARS! FIVE STARS! The owner was so friendly and hospitable. It was early afternoon and no one was there. My grandma was in a rough spot at the hospital near here so we wanted to grab a drink on our way out after seeing her. He opened up the pool table and just let us play. We could have stuck around for one drink but he was so nice and it was so fun, we stayed for hours. Tried a bunch of the food and drinks, bravo! This is how you take care of customers and make them come back. I was having a rough day that he completely turned around. I will return here and always recommend that you stop in. It looks like dive outside but is very well taken care of inside and is a must if you are near. I hope this place is around for a long time! read more

Worst bartender tonight ever (kaitie) Not friendly or welcoming at all. Came for our first time there, and while sitting at the bar that wasn't busy could barely get any service. Then as my husband and I were sitting there a phone calls comes in and the bartender mocks the girl calling to ask if there was live music. Then let's mention the cocktail with purple hair, didn't catch her name, the kitchen guy comes out to ask about lettuce on a plate and she says oh I don't even know I guess "maybe" just don't put it on. So ridiculous!! This all happened while we drank a pint of bud light which we didn't finish I might add... read more

I've been apprehensive to leave a review as I wanted to keep this gem on the DL but it's literally my favorite hangout, so I'm spreading the word to ensure it'll always be there. Best patio and service in town. Especially Jenna! Love her! I've been trying new dishes off the menu each time I go, and I've never been disappointed!! And as a plus, the food is consistant. My wife and I went here and enjoyed a Monster Platter together. The corn bites were surprisingly spicy but everything else was excellent. (The corn bites may have been tasty; I just don't like spicy food.) I got one of their butterscotch pie shots and that was delish! It was a little loud but also late Saturday night so what can you expect. We will definitely be back soon! read more

I just had the BEST fried pickles here!!! And I know bc I've been trying different places in the last few months. The breading was crispy, not heavy or greasy and had dill in it which really enhances the flavor. It was not soggy at all, the batter/breading stuck to the pickle and had a really dilly pickly sour flavor. The perfect crunch and dill pickle flavor. Served with ranch. The staff was friendly and quick. Plenty of parking. I'll be back for them again!!! read more

Great vibe, super friendly service. What I thought of our orders for my future reference: Egg rolls: delicious Porkatory: really good but next time I'd ask if they could just do the pork and skip the bacon and ham. So it's Sunday afternoon and We're thinking let's get a burger at some place with a patio. A quick Yelp search brings up several options but the party is soon dampened by rain. We decide to get a bite anyway and see Crow and the Pitcher with a 5 star rating and we know after reading reviews we have to try it. It looks a little seedy from the outside as it's in an old part of Murray. Anyway, inside the place is plush with lotsa nice televisions and a real sweet vibe. My wife says it was kind of intimate. It's brunch so we partake of the $5 Bloody Mary (peppery and tasty) and the $2 mimosa (heavy on the champagne) yum. I order the "porkatory" a triple decker grilled cheese with pork roll (google it) and bacon. I got the Panko crusted crispy onion rings and a side of jalapeño corn bites. It was heaven each bite a perfectly seasoned taste of indulgent flavor. My wife did the breakfast philly cheese steak sandwich that was tasty and really filling. A definite return visit will be required to try more tantalizing delights. read more

I stopped in here the night before Thanksgiving. It was karaoke night (maybe all nights are karaoke night...I dunno). The little storefront on a major street didn't seem like the typical bar, especially my preferred genre: the dive bar. But inside the vibe was great. Everybody was friendly. They had some good tequilas although I have to admit I don't remember which ones I had. But it was a fun place. Definitely going back next time I'm in the area. read more

Best thing about Crow: the fried pickles are the best I've ever had. Go there now and order friend pickles. The patio is great, the staff is cool, and the food is good for a pub. The primary reason I give four stars is the terrible draft beer set up. They have two, yes two, taps and they are garbage beers. So my coworker and I always look for bars when we go out of state and we came across this amazing place. I honestly suggest anybody who comes to Utah and or lives In Murray Utah and hasn't stopped by to drop everything now and go. The had great deals on beer and liqour and the food was really GOOD as well! The atmosphere is great bar tender were really good and always making sure we always had a cold beer. The owner of the bar was real cool as well made us feel right at home. This bar is a gem for sure pool tables corn hole patio for bigger parties they have picasso nights(paint night) and all sorts of other stuff. Oh and great music as well. You guys just need to stop by take my word and if you dont like it I'll buy you a beer. Lol read more

A metaphor for the 'inability to get a drink in Utah,' Crow and the Pitcher is Murray's newest watering hole. With no big money or high end backers the bar opened its doors in April of 2017 with just a few bar stools and a few hundred dollars in liquor. Just like the Crow in Aesop's fable, using our persistence and failure is not an option attitude, we continue to grow pebble by pebble to make this bar your favorite 'birdbath.'

Drinks are cheap and so are their Hennessy shots at $7 each! Plenty of seating available, but everyone seems to congregate at the bar. I soon found that the bartender is such a hoot and so friendly! There's a couple of pool tables. The bathrooms are a little "shocking." I was looking for the women's restroom and when the lights automatically turned on, I saw lots of 70s models posing nude. So this is what regular bodies look like before the surgery era! The men's restroom was more classy with people smoking cigars.

I noticed there was a paint night activity going on-it looked like fun! There were several people at the bar enjoying themselves and everyone was behaving nicely. We skipped the appetizers, although several sounded tempting. For my entree, I ordered one of the four recommended dishes the Branzino Al Pastor. The sea bass was flavorful and cooked well, and I really enjoyed it. The only downside was that it had quite a few bones. I'd recommend asking for it to be deboned beforehand. Despite the rough start, the food, drinks, and service once we got going made for a very enjoyable meal. I'd definitely come back .

At the counter, it was very hard for us to understand the employee who was taking our order, both in volume and enunciation. He also did not seem very happy to be there. Our food came out relatively quickly. We really liked our fries. The burger was pretty good as well. I just left this place feeling like it had the potential to be more than what it was. I am not sure how else to explain it. Will we be back? I'm not sure. We have some pretty reliable burger places we like to visit. But I wouldn't be opposed to giving it another shot.

One of my favorite bars in Utah. A quiet little place tucked away in a nice, convenient area just outside Salt Lake City. If you are the type that love the "dive bars, this is a great spot. Pool, games, food, indoor/outdoor, the bartenders are fantastic, the servers are very kind and friendly. They even have Keto versions of some of their menu, just in case you get the munchies while you are there! Parking: Parking is in the back. Great food, cheap drinks, and great atmosphere. What else could you ask for? Always improving their place and always thinking about the customer first. Even on busy nights you never have to wait more then 3 mins to get a drink. Always will be my bird bath!! read more

One complaint I've had about other Indian restaurants is the wait...but not here. We got our food less than 15 minutes after ordering-probably faster, but I'm estimating. Everything was delicious and fresh-so the speed wasn't because everything was premade. read more
