Peach Bourbon Cider on the patio
    Tariq J.

First time here, stopped by to check out the bar scene here in Brentwood. Inside is very nicely decorated, plenty of seating inside and out. Ordered the Peach Bourbon Cider and it was really good, have it on tap and it came out super cold. Was a great drink to have outside on the patio. I understand the service was a little slow , since it is Friday and they were busy. Took a while to get the attention of a bartender. When we did we were informed there is no bar menu. Had to go across the bar to check out what was available. My rating was based off the no menu offered and we did notice there was some ants on the bar around the limes container they were serving to customers.

New to the area so was checking out downtown with the wife hoping to find a nice hangout bar. This bar crowd was not diverse at all if you are looking for that. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has come in here and not felt welcomed. They had live music Friday night decent priced beers and drinks. I don't think they have food if they do they sure didn't promote it weren't offed a menu or anything. Order what you want at bar and find a seat type of service. Not many options downtown Brentwood

I'd love to give this establishment 5 stars. I have had many positive experiences here but from my last visit I have to take a star away. So I was hanging out here one night I think it was a Sunday actually. I ordered my usual Makers old fashioned. On the second round one of the bartenders decided to switch the alcohol to the daily special to see if I would notice. All fine and dandy the bartender later admitted to the switch asking if I liked the drink. Being a seasoned bourbon admirer I agreed it did not taste bad however I specifically asked for the same drink that I already had previously. If you are going to change it then it should be on the house. It was a fun trick but ok this was not the drink that I ordered. Give a customer what they asked for. If you change it that's on you. You should still provide what was ordered or at least not charge the same price. Aside from the old switcharoo with my drink this place is still cool. The other bartender that night served me a Basil that has now become one of my favorite bourbons. Most of the bartenders are cool. Large selection of liquor and often fantastic beers on tap. Come check it out just make sure you're getting what you ordered.

Manager and bartender are hella cool. Was playing hooky from the office , they allowed me and my coworker to set up shop while we enjoyed their reasonably priced drinks. My new go to bar !

    Ask the Community - Crown&Crow

Do you have drinks like Mai Tais and Sex on the Beach?

Do they have a website? The one offered is d.c. and they don't appear to make any brentwood reference?

https://www.thecrownandcrow.com/ is for a totally different bar - not the one in Brentwood!

What time does Singo start on Tuesdays?

    8pm Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday

Is there music on the weekend?

Yes! Most of the time now... right up the street is Brentwood's CoCo County Wine Company! They always have great music both Friday & Saturday!

Do you have a whiskey menu with prices posted anywhere online? Thanks

    Nope.

    Do you serve any food?

No we do not serve food.

I'm coming in with my family tonight for my 21st birthday and have my best friend staying with me. She's 20. I was wondering if she could be inside, as long as she's not drinking?

We're really sorry but it is not possible. Our licence only allows for 21 and up.

Does this bar allow 18+ or is it exclusively 21& up?

    21 and over.

Who serves the best Whiskey Sour in East Bay?

Crown and Crow in downtown Brentwood.

We loved that they have a inside and outside space w/fire pits and some heaters mounted. The couches inside and out definitely give it a rather cozy feeling. They even have cute blankets that you can use. They had a live dj who was amazing with his spinning of the right tunes. I enjoyed the music alot. He played a variety. The waitress seemed pleasant when she greeted us. We ordered the charcuterie board and the pepperoni pizza. I requested the ricotta to be placed on the side and the request was met. I asked the waitress alot of questions and she was able to answer them. I did not enjoy the board because I do not like pepper jam (I did ask for another jam, but she said this is all they had. This is unfortunate because what if someone does not like peppers? One of the meats provided I did not enjoy (I enjoyed the salami) and I did not like one of the cheese as well.. it was a little spicy. Also, the utensil that they gave us to use to spread with was not very great for spreading. The pizza was tasty..no complaints there. I even added the ricotta to it and it was good. I had a glass of Petite Sirah and a glass of Cab. My friend had the Coco Loco Marg and the Gingerbread drink. All drinks ordered were delicious... we both agreed. Although, there were many pros..I do have some cons: 1. I ordered a Hot Toddy that was nowhere near hot. The waitress told me that they boil the water and the water "Is what it is" that comes from the boiler. I did not like that response at all. 2. We were served our food with no plates or silverware. However, the waitress brought plates upon request. 3. The food was served with 1 spoon like item. However, we had multiple things that we should have received small forks instead of having to use or fingers for everything. 4. I requested a Strawberry long Island iced tea. The waitress immediately tells me that they do not have the items to make it. I asked her why not..because it is really merely (alcohol/strawberry puree /Triple Sec/cola or sprite). She tells me that she tried to make it and it was not good. I requested that she go and ago the bartender at the bar currently and she gave another excuse of why it could not be done. Then she said.. she would go ask the bartender. My friend and I were puzzled because all items were there for the drink. When she came back, she told me that he could do it. However, I had changed my mind by that point and I requested for Strawberry Hennessy. She told me that they had Strawberry puree and I told her that would be fine. She asked me if I wanted ice. At this point, it made me hesitant to get it because it sounded like they did not know how to make it. She went back to the bartender and my friend noticed that the bartender was looking it up. The waitress came back and told me that they did not have triple sec, but they had another substitute. At that point, I just asked for a Cab. Overall, we loved the atmosphere. Idk if we will visit anytime soon though. Also, please know..I do get that this is a wine bar. However, bartenders hired should know how to make an assortment of drinks especially if you have majority alcohol stocked. Lastly, the water shouod be served hot if it is a hot drink. There should not be a smart comment given when questioned about why the level of heat is not adequate.

Even the bathrooms were in good condition. I was greeted by a bartender and offered a drink after coming inside from the taco truck. It was a nice sized shot, so I really appreciated this. I gave my self some time to let it wear off as I was warned that there's a big police presence around this bar. Dont risk getting a DUI. I played some of my own tunes on the digital jukebox. I took some pics (that came out terribly), but was still fun to have the option.
