I'm not a crazy drinker, but this places chill vibe will have you stay for a while & have a few drinks, peacefully. It does get crowded at times (like any other good bar), but doesn't get overwhelming nor overstimulating. It really just is a nice vibe to kick back and/or socialize with friends. The drinks are priced fairly & made promptly. The service is always friendly and inviting. 10/10 top tier bar in the area. read more

Went on a Saturday evening, expecting a fun lively experience only to experience the opposite. They had a DJ that was gonna be playing around 9 o'clock. I got there walked up to the bar was not greeted by the bartender. I wanted to buy a cocktail and yet no one helped me so I sat outside for a little bit went back in still no help so then I went to a different place and only came back because I wanted to be around the music. When I came back, there was a lot more people music was playing, and I sat at the bar waited for the bartender for over an hour, and there were two behind the bar. They totally just ignored me. I was quiet I wasn't acknowledged at all I tried to raise my hand to get their attention and they just totally acted like they didn't want to be there and we're just helping the people they knew it was a horrible experience as I talked to a few of the locals that go there they said that yeah the bartenders are not very friendly unless they know you well then why the heck would anybody want to go there? I was very disappointed and that will be the last time that I go there I will take my business and my friends to the local spot around the corner. The drink that I finally got because a man had to wave down the bartender and said she's been waiting wasn't even made correctly. It was a simple, three ingredient drink, and yet a bartender he screwed up. I did not complain. I let it go. I paid my bill, which was higher than it should've been and I still tipped well, even though I probably shouldn't have tipped because he did not deserve it because of the service and serving me not what I ordered, but that's not me so I tipped had my cocktail talk to a few people and left. That will definitely be my last time ever going there. read more

Unbelievable experience on Sunday night at Crown and Crow with the male bartender who refused to acknowledge the 4 of us woman and then refused to give us his name and wouldn't serve us anything to drink. He appeared to be completely high or drunk and couldn't comprehend anything we were saying or asking for. Please look back on camera at 6:45 pm. It is a nice comfortable place to hang out in the bartenders are very cordial and professional and it's just the ease of the establishment. I have been in other bars/restaurants in the area that have had problems that deterred me. This place has never disappointed me and I like the variety of different musicians that they have there during the weekend on weekends. It's just a very engaging good vibe place to be. read more

Went last night...ordered 2 redbreast whiskeys, each single drink was $22. That's 1 shot, for $22. It wasn't a special night or anything. We even questioned the amount at time of purchase. I called today, to get a different person to clarify, no answer. My call went to a cell number that hasn't set up a voice mail. No actual website either. This bar has been open for years. I've been going here for a few years and have always experienced great service, from Mitch in particular, who is very personable and appreciative of our business. Besides a great selection of liquors, they also have a very good and varied selection local micro brew beer, especially when you consider that this is a bar, not a pub. If I could give this place a NEGATIVE 100 I would and its all because of a staff member named Teresa who sits in front of the establishment at almost all hours of the day and night to fend off patrons that she feels are undesirable and those with developemental and physical disabilities. As a person living with physical and developemental disabilities, I have witnessed Teresa approach bar patrons at both Crown and Crow and other bars in the downtown brentwood area after they have interacted with me to either worn them about me or coherce them to make false statements about me and my social skills. Last night she started yelling and refused to have an adult conversation, stating that "she knew my type". Bar staff sided with her and I asked that I not be allowed to return. Seems to me, that she needs to be fired and kicked out. read more

Reading a couple reviews here that are trying to insinuate that there is ANY type of prejudice happening is wild, and really sad. Shows who reviewers are as people, cuz that is absolutely not the vibe here. Everyone is fun friendly and welcoming. They have live music, good pours. Even saved me from losing my entire bag, phone, wallet by noticing I walked to the restroom and left it. First time here, stopped by to check out the bar scene here in Brentwood. Inside is very nicely decorated, plenty of seating inside and out. Ordered the Peach Bourbon Cider and it was really good, have it on tap and it came out super cold. Was a great drink to have outside on the patio. I understand the service was a little slow , since it is Friday and they were busy. Took a while to get the attention of a bartender. When we did we were informed there is no bar menu. Had to go across the bar to check out what was available. My rating was based off the no menu offered and we did notice there was some ants on the bar around the limes container they were serving to customers. read more

New to the area so was checking out downtown with the wife hoping to find a nice hangout bar. This bar crowd was not diverse at all if you are looking for that. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has come in here and not felt welcomed. They had live music Friday night decent priced beers and drinks. I don't think they have food if they do they sure didn't promote it weren't offed a menu or anything. Order what you want at bar and find a seat type of service. Unfortunately this bar seems to hire some racist bartenders, as they refused to serve my friend who was East Asian and said they "don't feel comfortable serving him" despite him being completely sober and serving the two Caucasian females next to us. We were just visiting the area but would never come back to this bar and would advise any people of color to not come as well and to take your business elsewhere read more

I went for one of their famous Bloody Mary's but found out they only make them at 9:00 am until they run out!. I still got my Bloody Mary and it was delicious just not the special one. Looks like they have live entertainment on Friday nights. It gets pretty crowded and the bartenders work hard to keep up, so it may be a bit slow to get drinks. I enjoy the couches near the fireplace in the back. As well as the tables outside in their patio area. read more

I'd love to give this establishment 5 stars. I have had many positive experiences here but from my last visit I have to take a star away. So I was hanging out here one night I think it was a Sunday actually. I ordered my usual Makers old fashioned. On the second round one of the bartenders decided to switch the alcohol to the daily special to see if I would notice. All fine and dandy the bartender later admitted to the switch asking if I liked the drink. Being a seasoned bourbon admirer I agreed it did not taste bad however I specifically asked for the same drink that I already had previously. If you are going to change it then it should be on the house. It was a fun trick but ok this was not the drink that I ordered. Give a customer what they asked for. If you change it that's on you. You should still provide what was ordered or at least not charge the same price. Aside from the old switcharoo with my drink this place is still cool. The other bartender that night served me a Basil that has now become one of my favorite bourbons. Most of the bartenders are cool. Large selection of liquor and often fantastic beers on tap. Come check it out just make sure you're getting what you ordered. read more

We visited this establishment for the first time during the weekends Farmers Market. Welcoming atmosphere. The inviting white washed bricks when you first approach the place: which brighten up the space to a cool eclectic vibe. What Immediately caught my attention was the two wooden unfinished styled pianos located on two different sides of the bar, stunning pieces. Plus, those cocktails coming out looked beautiful, elegant and unique! 18 rotating craft beer handles, 16 boutique wines and artisanal cocktails on Saturday's ONLY they serve Papamosas using fresh fruit. Check out my pics to see their list. They also carry an extensive whiskey selection. The Crown and Crow does not serve food. However, the Bloody Mary looks like a meal in its self. Loaded with an olive, deli meats and bacon. I believe you can bring your own fare or have it delivered to the bar. There is even the option available of sitting outside to enjoy your meal in the beautiful Brentwood weather. We enjoyed our visit plus meeting the owner too! read more

I had only been here once several years ago. I remember that it was a Saturday evening and the bartender was getting all his stuff prepared for Sunday Bloody Mary's. So today is Father's Day and after we had Breakfast in Brentwood I thought we would go over to Crown & Crow for Father's Day Bloody Mary's. Their times posted said that they open on Sunday at 12 noon. So we arrived at the doors at 12:15. Doors are locked. Sign on the door says open at 12 noon on Sundays. Looked inside and there was a worker behind the bar looking like he was preparing for the day. After a few minutes we knocked on the door and tried to get his attention. He looked up at us, and then went right back to whatever he was doing. Like we weren't even there. We finally gave up and went home. Evidently they didn't want our business or our money today. I will think twice next time I think about giving them any of my business in the future. Unfortunate. read more

Definitely a fan of this bar! I came with a close friend one weekend afternoon, tried the Italian Mistress. Absolutely enjoyed this cocktail..it tasted great but was strong enough to give me a buzz. Never went in, nor will I as we had the misfortune of crossing paths with an absolutely awful server - wearing a mask beneath his nose bc that's intelligent - who yelled at us, before we even opened our mouths by rudely saying: " do I have to repeat myself again?! Nobody in the bar!" My cousin needed to use the bathroom - which I said - taken aback as he was so pissed we dare exist nearby. When we left the bathroom another patron saw we were noticeably upset and said " oh, that must have been Chad." From my limited experience, Chad is reason enough to never return. Used to love this place. Now they won't even make a simple drink. No espresso martinis at night and don't have the ingredients for a sidecar which is just Hennessy, grand marnier and lemon. My husband ordered a Basil Hayden dark rye that was $20. A bottle at any store is $40-45. So disappointed. They literally advertised the espresso martini on their instagram account today. read more

This place has a very lively and welcoming atmosphere and waitresses and bartenders. The service was very good with lots of happy people. It is great for a nice, relaxing dinner and also to meet friends. There is a nice view of the Delta. The food was yummy and there is a nice selection of drinks.
