Comedy night at The Lounge is a must do! The comedy group The Naked Cat was hilarious! From start to finish, they had the entire room laughing! Their timing, energy, and crowd interaction were spot-on, and you could tell they genuinely love what they do! The back patio atmosphere at The Lounge was cozy and fun. They recently renovated their patio and it looks amazing! Their wood paneling, new awning and heaters made it warm, comfortable and you honestly wouldn't have been able to tell you were outside in November. I ordered the Margarita Flight which is a great price to try 4 different flavors. 1st was the traditional which I wasn't a fan of but I did enjoy the spicy mango and I will confess I poured my traditional into to keep the flavor going. This is an establishment I often visit. I have never had a bad experience or service. Tonight was different, I went to the bar to order a few drinks and Nichole helped me. She was beyond rude. It's almost like they have training sessions on how to be absurdly rude to their guests. We were celebrating my graduation on Saturday night, loud music and a huge crowd seated outside, the "open" sign on, etc. So we open the front door and we were immediately charged by the short door guy or whoever he was, screaming "WE'RE CLOSED! WE'RE CLOSED!" Every table and bar top was full of patrons, and their drinks were not empty. I would think if you needed to get that point across that you were closing and trying to clear out, turn the lights on and music off? Or at least, have that aggressive bro standing out front to let potential customers know you're closed. Mind you, no one was being encouraged to leave or finish up or anything. Every time I've been here, they act like it's such a bother to be at work, providing service. I had a blast when I worked in the industry, your people are miserable. Now the ambience was a bit off you would come in and see couches and a bar which feels more like a private club which at some point is nice but it does not fit the aesthetic I think they're going for, they have nice outdoor seating which I liked as well. I am not easily offended and I truly enjoy comedy in all forms. I regularly attend both local and larger comedy shows because I appreciate a good laugh, no matter how dumb or dark the humor may be. Tonight, however, my husband and I chose to leave The Naked Cat Comedy Show before it ended. It has been less than a week since the shooting of Charlie Kirk, and the jokes made about him tonight felt extremely insensitive given the circumstances. The timing was very unfortunate. What made it more disappointing was that the host began the evening by encouraging everyone to come together as a community and acknowledging how heavy the world feels right now. Following that with material about such a recent tragedy felt out of place and unnecessary. Really disheartening that out of alllllll the funny topics that could've been covered tonight... that's the topic they chose. read more

An outing with friends brought us here. The ambiance is a little dark but esthetically it's a nice vibe to hang out at. Unfortunately it was the start of a down pour so that did make it a little uncomfortable to fully enjoy to the fact we were on their back patio. We planned for the Whiskey tasting they promoted. My only take back was the charging of it. It wasn't expensive by all means, being it was whiskeys that most don't choose or want to pay to enjoy. But we all have had them so we were looking forward to the low cost of it. The take back part was charging tax on it. I think they should have just up charged the price to an even cost amount to cover that instead of charging it on the back end. I know, I know sounds petty but this is based off the advertisement of "Cost: $135" I feel a "plus tax" should have been noted in the advertisement. Two part take back was the side of nuts and cheeses. This was included but you literally got two small squares of cheese and an abundance of nuts. Call me nuts but ok. Lol We also ordered what you'd consider bar food from their menu. That was a nice addition to our night being we did not plan dinner options. We ordered Quesadillas, Sliders and carne asada loaded fries. Food was actually pretty good, presentation not so much on the sliders. The buns were a tad burnt and not pleasing to the eye. But over all had a great taste and everything was seasoned well so that definitely made up for it. I mean look wise can turn a good meal. So in ending, If you're looking for a place to hang out at with friends or even a first date kinda vibe, I think you'll really enjoy this spot. I just went in the lounge for lunch. First of all we were not acknowledged for several minutes. Then we placed our order. The bartender/server (Gabriel) spilled my drink. I asked for a napkin twice before he brought one. ONE! I asked for water 4 times. He never brought it until we were ready to walk out. I am very upset with my experience. Unfortunately, I was with my friends and we had happened to accidentally sit in the spot of a couple. They didn't give us a chance to apologize for the mistake and simply change seats before they proceed to start harassing me and my friends. We then got up as the the man continued to call us names and threaten to hurt me, which he did end up punching me in the face. In self defense, I did hit him back but was then escorted out by en employee. This is completely unacceptable, as I was accused of disturbing the peace by the owner/ manager when I'm the one that got punched in the face. Tried this place for a girls night on 1/14/23. We had a party of 4. My friend had been calling since Wednesday to try and make a reservation. They never once answered the phone. We only called to make a reservation because we read online that it was encouraged for parties of 4 and up. On Friday, my friend called again and this time got through to an answering machine. She left a message and requested a call back to see if we can make a reservation. Nothing. No one called her. So the 4 of us decided to just walk in around 6 and see if they did in fact get us down for a reservation. Upon entering, we were greeted by a female hostess. My friend tells her what happened and she said if you do not receive a call back you do not have a reservation. What? This made no sense as it was not advertised anywhere. I understand the speakeasy vibe they want, but they really need to look into an online booking system or a better way to handle phone reservations. The hostess says that we can sit at the bar or at one of the empty high tops. The place was busy so we chose the high top table. The decorations inside are really nothing impressive. It was dark, but the couches that I saw looked nice. Our chairs at the high top weren't that comfortable for a taller person. We asked about moving to the couch if they freed up and we were told they wouldn't due to the reservations. We order the steak quesadilla, shrimp ceviche tostaditas, and wings. I have to say that the food was good and probably the best part of the night. The drinks were the weakest I've ever had. We each had 3-4 drinks and none of us were buzzed. The drinks we tried were the classic, mango, and spicy margaritas. A Paloma negra and a Mexican mule. They were good in the flavor department, but I am not sure if they make them weak and that makes you buy more? If so, I get the business strategy, but we all felt robbed. We had a $250 tab and no buzz. Just strange because we usually only drink two drinks and we are good. Overall, the lounge just isn't the spot for us. Came here 3x and wanted to wait to leave a review so I can be fair. Ambiance- LOVE all the couches and relaxed, intimate feel. The place is small, but enough to enjoy an evening for a GNO or have a nice evening of conversation with other couples. If you want to relax, then this is your spot. Also came here for our typical Saturday mornings Farmers Market. They sell mimosas and their menu is open. Needless to say we had a great Saturday! The owners both came to us at different times and they were super friendly! Don't judge a book by the cover, they're rough around the edges, but they're extremely attentive and nice. Now this place is Ka-Ute. Brentwood need more spots like this! Because this place is beautiful and artsy. It's an entire vibe, being downtown parking can be a little tight so park where you can. I had the chicken wings, very crunchy, a tad bit salty, but good. The chips and dip wasn't so appetizing, I guess I'm used to warmed chips. It was a slow day so they closed early but all in all it was a good experience. The hostess and guy bar tender with long hair(super cute) were both super friendly. This was so disappointing! We took 2 of our friends to go have dinner and drinks they have never been here before. I got there later to meet with them. They tell me Nicole is the waitress so I go and find her to try and place an order and she tells me they are really busy and I have to go order at the bar. I go to the bar with my friend and she makes our drinks and enters our order I have to say she was not friendly from the beginning. She drops off our food and does not ask if we need napkins or anything. She drops the food off and walks away as quickly as possible. She comes back later and gets my friends drink order. I was not ready so she said she will be back. I tell her "are you sure you will come back to get my order?" She never comes back she walks passed my table about 15-20 mins later and I try to stop her and she says "order at the bar!" By this time I was over it she dismissed me everytime I need to order something. I went ip to the bar with my friend who also was not getting service and spoke to Ana to complain. Ana was nice but had no control over Nicole as she spoke the whole time trying to make excuses for her attitude. Then Nicole proceeds to tell us " you guys can leave we do not have to service you!" The Lounge in Brentwood is an adult upscale bar that features a nice seating a area with sofas and chairs, a few televisions, and a small, but well stocked bar. Be prepared for their take on cocktails for they aren't for everyone. The best asset is the kitchen which turns out delicious food. Some days there are good and drink specials available to try and enjoy. I recommend the bourbon flight and the themed alcohol nights. They do a great job. read more

The girl behind the bar told my girlfriend she couldn't make a Long Island because they were "out of Lemonade"....um, wtf?!? Honestly, I think she just didn't know how to make it, given the fact that the bar had all the ingredients to make one. HUGE red flag. Oh and did I mention the service was absolutely terrible? Yes, the owner bought me a drink after I paid the bill, but he neglected to mention that he asked me, the customer, to replenish the toilet paper in the ladies bathroom and later in the night asked me to replenish the paper towels in the bathroom. I was trying to. not to be nit picky about those details but if he's going to say how nice he was to pour me a free drink, I think those details should be mentioned too.
