Margarita flight
Tiffany P.

1st time here and I can this is a place you bring your friends to not really a place to hang out solo. There are a lot of regulars and groups. I ordered the Margarita Flight which is a great price to try 4 different flavors. 1st was the traditional which I wasn't a fan of but I did enjoy the spicy mango and I will confess I poured my traditional into to keep the flavor going. The peach is the perfect amount for sweetness and I am not a fan of super sweet drinks. The Hibiscus has a nice flavor not to over powering but very refreshing.

Happy Hour Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! We got one of almost all of the HH food items ($9/ea): - Carne asada loaded fries - Carnitas tacos (all three tacos have to be the same type) - Sliders ...and also the chip trip ($8) with fantastic green salsa! The three of us did a decent job polishing the food off and washed them down with happy hour margaritas and cosmos ($7/ea). Even the super lightweight of the group enjoyed her first cosmo. A steal with today's inflation! Quality and quantity. They had the portable AC blasting on a 105 degree day too. Bonus!

We had our rehearsal dinner here, the decorations on the back patio were beautiful. The drinks and food were delicious!

An outing with friends brought us here. The ambiance is a little dark but esthetically it's a nice vibe to hang out at. Unfortunately it was the start of a down pour so that did make it a little uncomfortable to fully enjoy to the fact we were on their back patio. We planned for the Whiskey tasting they promoted. My only take back was the charging of it. It wasn't expensive by all means, being it was whiskeys that most don't choose or want to pay to enjoy. But we all have had them so we were looking forward to the low cost of it. The take back part was charging tax on it. I think they should have just up charged the price to an even cost amount to cover that instead of charging it on the back end. I know, I know sounds petty but this is based off the advertisement of "Cost: $135" I feel a "plus tax" should have been noted in the advertisement. Two part take back was the side of nuts and cheeses. This was included but you literally got two small squares of cheese and an abundance of nuts. Call me nuts but ok. Lol We also ordered what you'd consider bar food from their menu. That was a nice addition to our night being we did not plan dinner options. We ordered Quesadillas, Sliders and carne asada loaded fries. Food was actually pretty good, presentation not so much on the sliders. The buns were a tad burnt and not pleasing to the eye. But over all had a great taste and everything was seasoned well so that definitely made up for it. I mean look wise can turn a good meal. So in ending, If you're looking for a place to hang out at with friends or even a first date kinda vibe, I think you'll really enjoy this spot. It's nice it's local and just in downtown Brentwood.

Strawberry Margarita

Are you kidding me..I think I have had everything on the menu and not one complaint! This place is no joke the best drinks, very unique and excellent alcohol choices, friendly service and beautiful environment especially the back patio! They are great which means they can get busy, that's okay they have great bartenders that don't stop hustling. What a great addition to downtown Brentwood! Highly recommend Strawberry Margarita and Espresso Martini- you will not be disappointed!

Thank you so much for saving the day after our previous place had cancelled on us. All the staff from the managers, to the servers, and waiters were amazing! So attentively, caring and kind. The food was so good too. Very highly recommend. The guests from our party keep calling me back to express how much they loved the place. THANK YOU

Veronica A.

Ambiance is awesome! Owner Savino is sweet, food is tasty and drinks are always stiff. Always a great time here! Check out their weekly events...super fun!

Tried this place for a girls night on 1/14/23. We had a party of 4. My friend had been calling since Wednesday to try and make a reservation. They never once answered the phone. We only called to make a reservation because we read online that it was encouraged for parties of 4 and up. On Friday, my friend called again and this time got through to an answering machine. She left a message and requested a call back to see if we can make a reservation. Nothing. No one called her. So the 4 of us decided to just walk in around 6 and see if they did in fact get us down for a reservation. Upon entering, we were greeted by a female hostess. My friend tells her what happened and she said if you do not receive a call back you do not have a reservation. What? This made no sense as it was not advertised anywhere. I understand the speakeasy vibe they want, but they really need to look into an online booking system or a better way to handle phone reservations. The hostess says that we can sit at the bar or at one of the empty high tops. The place was busy so we chose the high top table. The decorations inside are really nothing impressive. It was dark, but the couches that I saw looked nice. Our chairs at the high top weren't that comfortable for a taller person. We asked about moving to the couch if they freed up and we were told they wouldn't due to the reservations. We order the steak quesadilla, shrimp ceviche tostaditas, and wings. I have to say that the food was good and probably the best part of the night. The drinks were the weakest I've ever had. We each had 3-4 drinks and none of us were buzzed. The drinks we tried were the classic, mango, and spicy margaritas. A Paloma negra and a Mexican mule. They were good in the flavor department, but I am not sure if they make them weak and that makes you buy more? If so, I get the business strategy, but we all felt robbed. We had a $250 tab and no buzz. Just strange because we usually only drink two drinks and we are good. Overall, the lounge just isn't the spot for us. I hope as time goes on that they will make some adjustments and the place will get better.

Came here 3x and wanted to wait to leave a review so I can be fair. Ambiance- LOVE all the couches and relaxed, intimate feel. The place is small, but enough to enjoy an evening for a GNO or have a nice evening of conversation with other couples. If you want to relax, then this is your spot. Also came here for our typical Saturday mornings Farmers Market. They sell mimosas and their menu is open. Needless to say we had a great Saturday! The owners both came to us at different times and they were super friendly! Don't judge a book by the cover, they're rough around the edges, but they're extremely attentive and nice. I love that they come around and say hi. I've been to PLENTY of spots where you don't see any owner! All in all, I'd highly recommend this place!

Espresso Martini

Came here with a friend for some food and drinks. The place was lovely, so welcoming. We enjoyed some quesadillas and chicken taquitos as well as espresso martinis. Definitely will be back and service was amazing!

When I came back, there was a lot more people music was playing, and I sat at the bar waited for the bartender for over an hour, and there were two behind the bar. They totally just ignored me. I was quiet I wasn't acknowledged at all I tried to raise my hand to get their attention and they just totally acted like they didn't want to be there and we're just helping the people they knew it was a horrible experience as I talked to a few of the locals that go there they said that yeah the bartenders are not very friendly unless they know you well then why the heck would anybody want to go there? I was very disappointed and that will be the last time that I go there I will take my business and my friends to the local spot around the corner. The drink that I finally got because a man had to wave down the bartender and said she's been waiting wasn't even made correctly. It was a simple, three ingredient drink, and yet a bartender he screwed up. I did not complain. I let it go. I paid my bill, which was higher than it should've been and I still tipped well, even though I probably shouldn't have tipped because he did not deserve it because of the service and serving me not what I ordered, but that's not me so I tipped had my cocktail talk to a few people and left. That will definitely be my last time ever going there.

The bathrooms were nice and taken care of, there's a button on the wall, if you press it lights and music comes on like a party. Very cool. Our wood board was pretty damaged and seemed beaten. Although people post pictures of the food-- the menu is constantly rotating and changing on a day-to-day basis and a seasonal basis so the food you see might not always be the same menu. I really like that because it makes it a consistent date spot because the food is constantly changing and it's a new experience every time. Unfortunately, the bar and the kitchen just didn't deliver. My Gin & Tonic was a hazard; it was so completely overloaded with peppercorns that I felt like I was chewing my drink and had to spit them out after every sip. For food, the corn elote lacked balance, and the scallops--which arrived swimming in a soup instead of a puree--tasted noticeably off. The chicken parm was entirely forgettable. With these kinds of texture and flavor issues, there's just no attention to detail in the kitchen. Even with great service, we won't be returning.

I was holding off on writing a review until I had the chance to go a few times since the new head…read morechef came in and revamped the menu. Now that I have had two dinners, on March 5th and 27th, and a recent brunch, June 6, here is what I can conclude: The Food: Everything I have tried on the menu so far has been pretty flipping delicious beautifully, but not pretentiously, presented looking and tasting like a truly from scratch kitchen (which did not seem to be the case with the previous chef/menu). Standout mains included a beef stroganoff special, the fish and chips and possibly the best shrimp and grits (might be only a weekend brunch item?) I have ever had (to the point that I am likely to go back and have it again in the next week or two) Standout apps were the raw oysters (especially the in house pickled watermelon mignonette), the pulled pork sliders, brussel sprouts and recently a new buffalo style baby back ribs with shaved celery and blue cheese crumbles (it was so good my sister would not let us finish it so that she could take the last bite home to share with my brother in law and give him pointers) Standout desserts included the bread pudding and the cream brulee. The Drinks: Cocktails had a rougher start but were excellent in June. Back in March the cocktail menu seemed a bit confused. Several drinks I tried were incredibly unbalanced (and whether that was due to bad recipes or errors while executing said recipes who knows). I feel like they might not always have had an experienced bartender behind the bar, back in March, because one time it was something as simple as a gin & tonic that was accidentally made with plain soda because the syrup had run out and no one seemed to know how to help correct the issue. Whoever revamped the cocktail menu, please accept a huge THANK YOU! I will now be drinking my way through the menu over my next several visits. The standouts recently were the exceptional clarified milk punch cocktail called Sweet Disposition and the Strawberry Letter. The Service: Excellent. Everyone I have interacted with, especially the serving staff, have been attentive and took brief moments to make kind personal connections. One even gushed about how happy they have been seeing the changes implemented by this new incoming chef. The Venue: It has a relaxed golf course club room atmosphere with a main upstairs dining room and patio seating (weather permitting). There is also a downstairs area with an additional bar and space for live music (which seems to be a regular occurrence). I appreciated the separation which allowed for distinct vibes depending on your mood. My apologies that I have no picture to share (though the food and drinks were photo worthy) I was too busy enjoying myself.

What a special place. FINALLY was able to try this spot while we were rolling through this area…read moreover the weekend. Such a cute neighborhood hang with a park across the street, ice cream and beer locales next door, and street parking to enjoy it all. With the big soccer game playing, we were happy to grab a table in the outdoor patio to enjoy some sunshine and safety in an enclosed area for the kiddo, but also watch some of the game for lunch. Love that they have corn hole and toys for the kiddos out. The menu is pretty straight forward, and on weekends they have brunch specials too. But, we figured we had to try the smash burgers! They have a kiddo menu which is so cute (see photo) and offer smash burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, fries (steak frites and "filthy" fries with cheese, sauce, caramelized onions, pepperonis, chives), salads, and bowls. I love that you can do a Sando as a salad/bowl. I went with the Yard Bowl that comes with brown rice and veggies, topped with fried chicken. It was SO good. Hearty, great quality, and really just an overall stellar meal. We also grabbed smash burgers and the "Filthy Fries". There is a $12 meal that comes with a smash burger and plain fry combo which I feel is a pretty smashing deal :) They serve Alameda soda and have a really cool beer/wine/cocktail menu. I had to try the Brentwood Corn Fest cocktail that comes with vodka, lemon, creamed corn puree, jalapeño, and an elote rim. It was spectacular, and I didn't mind paying $14 for such a fresh, well-crafted, innovative drink. You get a buzzer after you order, and honestly the drink/food came out pretty fast! Very turnkey ordering process. Delicious way to spend a weekend afternoon. Seems like such an awesome community hang spot. Would love to try their Pickle Spritz next time (gin, pickle juice, dill, soda water)! I noticed Liberty Faculty students receive 10% off which I think is so cool. The plate was extremely hot, the pork was very tough and seemed undercooked for a dish that should be tender, and nearly half of the meat was fat. I also found multiple bay leaves mixed into the burrito. The chips were so heavily salted that they were practically inedible. I actually had to rub some of the salt off before eating them. This was our second visit, and unfortunately, it will probably be our last.
