Great place for kids and adults! I recently came here from Smileland with my kids in order to get treatment time faster (Smileland would book us 3-4 out soonest) and with cavities I wanted something sooner for my kids. Crown right away started treatment the same day we were seen for a checkup, and they also called me with opened appts as well, so I really appreciated that! Staff was really great at making my kids comfortable, especially employee Crystal Arellano, she really helped us making sure everything was good given we switched from Smileland. The receptionists constantly call me to make appointments because they want to bill my insurance, which is understandable. The only day off I get is on Mondays which apparently they only see kids then. Pretty much if you have an on-call job like i do, DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR OFFICE. They don't work with you to make appointments work with your schedule and they'd rather make money off you through cancellations. Nice dentist tho. Very sweet, and always makes sure i'm comfortable. read more

We had an appointment today, even though I thought it was for myself. The wait was not bad, the dentist was attentive to our needs. We did not spend a lot of time in the office. The office has children's day and they have adult days. There are plenty of rooms for patients to be seen. The staff is courteous and provide good customer service. Great place for the little ones and even teenagers. The female dentist is EXCELLENT she is very sweet and calming with my son (5) which every parent can appreciate. Rooms are clean and colorfully decorated. Movies are always being played. Never too loud nor disruptive. Parents are allowed in room for the "simple" procedures, but for the more "detailed" procedures, parents must wait in the lobby, but, allowing us to peak in the window at anytime. Staff is great. Everything from beginning to end is perfect. Even the wait time. The wait time is minimal. My only complaint is the lobby. It's tiny. Seating is minimal...but their is nothing they can do about that now ;) read more

Crown Dental had my original review removed. This is the worst dental office I have ever been too. My first visit the dental hygienist told me everything looked good, no cavities. The doctor walked in and told me not only did I have a cavity, it was a bad one that needed a root canal and a crown. When I came back to have the crown put on, the office felt I asked to many questions about the procedure. They refused service and kicked me out of the office. This office is over run with Medi-cal participants so maybe they were used to people who didn't ask questions? Edit: The office manager reached out AGAIN and said they reported my review to Yelp because it says I live in Denver. I lived in Bakersfield until January 2017 and moved to Denver that same month. My incident in their office occurred in late 2015 when I originally posted my review (the one they had removed). read more

This is one of the worst dental off8ces I've ever been to. They are very nice if you are paying them but if you cancel and they have to refund your money they couldn't care less. Trips to the dentist were the worst for me before Crown Dental, after being treated here by Dr.Nguyen & the staff, I got over the nerves & began to enjoy my dentist trips. I'm so glad my mom brought me in here as a kid, I know I will continue to be treated here by Dr. Jason Nguyen. Today I had an extraction of a very painful broken tooth, I was quite nervous about the anesthesia, but the staff made me feel super comfortable got my mind off of it & assured my nerves were gone. Dr. Nguyen, as always, was very comforting and assured me the the procedure was not something to stress about. Overall, today's procedure was quick & painless! Thank you to the staff at Crown Dental. On 12/18/15 my son had a dental emergency. My children were both established patients at crown dental. Prevuous to this event I had taken one of my children to their office for routine work and politely questioned one of their policies. Something all patients have the right to do. After speaking to the dentist about said policy, I agreed to treatment. On the date of the emergency, I called the office to request my son by seen. I was told to bring him in. On the way to the office I was called and informed that they would not see my son due to the question of policy previously. As far as I was concerned it was a simple question appropriately addressed, and should not have been a further issue for either party. Crown Dental refusing to see my son, caused an afternoon of desperately seeking the appropriate treatment for my son, as this was his established dentist. Most other offices informed me he needed to be seen at his dentist. Furthermore, should Crown Dental wanted to drop my children from care, they should have provided a 30 day written notice informing me they would no longer see my children. Not only would this have been ethical and lawful, it would have given me the chance to establish them at another office. Their unethical behavior left me with a panicked 4 year old in pain, and no where to take him. They should truly be ashamed of themselves, and I will make sure anyone I know knows to avoid them at all costs. The only positive in this situation is when we did find care, it was with an office with no wait time. It was not uncommon to wait for hours at Crown Dental. The other office also was incredibly respectful and obviously knowledable. Despite the fact that the other office does not specialize in children's dentistry, something Crown claims, my child was treated better there, and he was quickly calmed by the demenor of the other dentist and his staff. read more

Now, they don't even say good morning. And, it has gotten quit dirty. Unfortunately, we will be finding a new dentist after all this time. So sad. read more
