Stopped here after we saw the "kebab" sign. We were about to drive to Bar Harbor and wanted something fast that wasn't the Golden Arches. It was quiet when we went in. The man behind the counter was friendly. I have been searching for something like a donner kebab for a long long time and their gyro wrap is the closest I have come across. The meat wasnt greasy like at some places. Really great portion size too. My husband had the marinated lamb chops which I tasted and thought were great. The kids had nuggets and fries which met with approval. The cook seemed to actually care about whether or not we enjoyed the food. We plan on returning. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the restrooms are pretty gross. Lots of graffiti and damage and no towels to dry hands.

Chair on top of every other table with sign not using due to Covid.

This place was great. Five star compared to similar restaurants. I had lamb gyro meat on a bed of soft flavored rice with a salad with the whole thing covered in tiziki sauce. I also ordered a chicken breast that was fried and salty and delicious. Friendly service and someone came out to check on me and the quality if the food. It was really great. I appreciated them having items you can't typically get such as lamb and it was great.

Kabab rice platters are the thing to get here. The shish kabab. Chicken is moist and flavorful, the salad is dressed with yogurt based tzatziki, and the rice is the king of it all. Stir fried with garlic and cardamom and tons of delicious spices...And starting at 9 bucks, you seriously cannot beat that. Seriously nothing better to say about this place. Lamb, beef, and chicken options available in shish kabab and kofta style.

This is there Crispy Chicken Wrap. Pretty big right?

The service was phenomenal. Loved how friendly and nice they were. The vibe was nice, plenty of seating. The food was pretty good. Only mistake I had was I didn't tell them what not to put into the wrap. But that's my fault. Other than that, it was a quick eat and I enjoyed every bit of it!

The place for late night fried chicken at a reasonable price. Mediocre quality but fits the bill for Portland's cheap fried chicken fix.

I also tried a bite of the biscuits and gravy at the table and they were rich, comforting, and seriously tasty. The drinks were just as impressive. When we finally came during the off season, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity since wait times were shorter. The wait on a Saturday afternoon was about 15-20 minutes. I will say - I had high hopes for Hot Suppa. Between my fiance and I, we ordered the waffle, side of corned beef hash, and the fried green tomatoes eggs benny. The corned beef hash here is excellent - that I do have to acknowledge. I was a bit underwhelmed by the fried green tomatoes though. The tomatoes were just okay, but the excessive hollandaise sauce really just made the whole dish waaay too heavy. It was also just messy. Service was slow & our waitress tended to disappear for long periods of time. Coffee & water refills both took a long time. Parking here is difficult but not impossible. Most spots are only for an hour or so.

Lots of options and great if people in your party want mix of breakfast and lunch type offerings. They have yummy sides including potatoes or my fave the grits and add cheese. Red beans and rice may be an option as well. For your bread option you can also choose cornbread. Obviously not a lot of Cajun/New Orleans type food in Maine so this is always a nice chsnge. The jambalaya and gumbo are great. There are crawfish options as well. I dont think they have po boys, beignets or oysters though. Blackboard specials are usually great as well. I almost always get one. Usually there's an egg type dish, sweet pancake type option snd sandwich/burger option. No Crystal hot sauce but lots of yummy Maine hot sauces, which are great on the cornbread. Street parking is all around and there is a pay lot behind the restaurant. Big Sky Bread is across the street. We like to walk over after to pick up a yummy treat or breakfast goodies for the next day.

So, we decided to sneak over here after a busy morning at the lighthouse with our toddler for a nice, filling lunch before a later flight home. We must've gotten lucky on a Sunday bc our wait for three people was about 15-20 minutes quoted and we spent 10 minutes walking the block to entertain our toddler, came back to check-in and our table was ready! yay! We had a great table in the corner by the window which was excellent with our toddler. Our server, Brian, was wonderful and super friendly. Menu isn't huge but, has enough stuff that should be able to please most. We chose a small fry with the daily dip which was almost like a mayo-based honey mustard dijon and was delicious, with ketchup and vinegar for dipping. Fries were crispy and delicious. We got the green salad and the Cuban to split and loved both. The sandwich was delicious and the green salad was light and refreshing with some really yummy herbs on top to include fennel which isn't usually on a salad but I loved the taste for this one, worked perfectly with the dressing. My husband ordered their house-made cherry soda and let me tell you, best cherry soda of my life! We ordered two bc I drank about half of it. They have a charming outdoor patio area with about 3-4 other tables. Charming spot - def. recommend! Wait can get super long - by the time we left they were quoting over an hour for a table since it's smaller inside and large parties can take up almost all the spaces.

The proprietary sauces fantastic... my favorite.. the Carolina sauce..but in addition to perfect barbecue staples, let's also mention the hush puppies and biscuits to die for.. and the fresh cut crinkle potatoes are sprinkled with out of this world seasoning. Service is very friendly and helpful.. Great cocktails added the right tone. I cannot wait to go back!

We are so lucky to walk up at 8 pm and get a table. Not any table, but next to the kitchen. It was so awesome to sit there and watch their masterpieces come to life. The amount of pans and flames on the fire was pretty cool. We waited a bit for our waiter, but once he arrived he was attentive and did well. Bread service was delicious. Butter cokes our very cold, we used the candle to warm it. They wait staff got a chuckle out of that and said rush cooks give us melted butter. Ha ha We ordered the grilled octopus as an appetizer. Deliciously prepared and cooked. Mmmm. I ordered the special--Tuna Ragu My husband sword fish Swordfish was a little over cooked but the flavor was very good. Fish. Delicious. Now let's talk about the tuna Ragu. It was the most delicious strange thing I've had yet on this trip. My Brain was like... why is there fish in this pasta and my tastebuds are like who the heck cares this amazing. The homemade pasta was delicate and fluffy yet cooked al dente and soaked up all the sauce/gravy. The tuna had a slight fish taste, but it was fresh- perfect and not over whelming. There had to be a spicy sausage hidden in there because every other bite was bursting with a spicy hint. Absolute perfection! They tried to give us the dessert menu, but we were so full. It's likely we just showed up during an off day/time but left more disappointed than excited. Booked a reservation for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary of when we started dating and they did include a card thanking us for choosing to celebrate it with them. Was a nice little touch. Inside has a rustic feeling vibe and the low ceilings does make it quite loud. Our server eventually greeted us and took our drink orders. I had a spicy tequila cocktail called Kissies and Poppies while my wife had a gin based cocktail called Secret Garden. Both were decent but nothing special enough to rush back for. Appetizer wise the only one on their menu during our visit was freshly sliced prosciutto which was tasty but did not stand out anymore than your typical grocery store prosciutto. For the main event and the purpose of checking them out my wife got the Shrimp Linguine in Butter and Garlic. I gave their Grilled Lobster Linguine in Butter and Garlic a try. Both dishes had great flavor and they did not skimp on garlic! Lobster does come in shell and our server did warn us. Despite the good taste the slow service really left a sour taste in our mouths. Our reservation was for 9:30 PM (showed up a bit early) and didn't receive food til almost 10:30 or after and we ordered relatively quick. Our server did come over once during our wait saying it would be soon. Though once we got our food the server didn't check on us again til we finished. Maybe it was due to being part of the last meals being served. Not a great excuse but who knows, extremely lackluster service for a higher end spot that should make you feel welcome! We did skip out on dessert to avoid more waiting. Im glad so many people enjoy this spot, but if my wife and I are feeling a nicer dinner we will go elsewhere!

From the time I first contacted him through the day-of communications, Lucas kept me up to date on everything I needed to know and worked with me to make sure that we had a good variety of the best oysters available. He was more than willing to go out of his way to source out-of-state oysters from the Narragansett Bay area and from PEI, but also let us know about the best local Damariscotta river options. At the actual event, Bob, the most efficient and clean oyster shucker I have ever seen set up the oyster cart early and was ready to go by the time guests started to arrive. The oysters themselves were some of the best and definitely some of the freshest oysters I have ever enjoyed anywhere. Though the oysters definitely did not require any additional flavors, the accoutrements O' Oysters brought were perfectly balanced and complimented the oysters exceptionally well without masking the oyster flavors. I particularly loved the subtle Jalapeno mignonette sauce. I cannot say enough good things about Lucas, Bob and O' Oysters.
