Went to the Mercantile Street Jimmy Johns. Ordered a regular Jimmy's Cubano. Paid $10.00. The bread was stale, I looked in the sandwich and found 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of bacon and half a slice of provolone cheese. That amount of meat does not constitute a sandwich. Used the ladies room and the toilet would not stop flushing. This is my first/last time I will ever go to a Jimmy John's again. A total waste of money for the small amount of meat I received. COCKROACH in my sandwich!!! My boss' boss got us all a large catering order for a meeting. It was a great presentation, nicely packaged, seemed freshly made and came with condiments on the side. Well, i opened up my sandwich to add Mayo to it and found a COCKROACH running around in there!!! I spoke with the manager and he did not seem surprised at all. He said " oh, it must have been the lettuce, though we do triple wash it". Saying this, at this location my bf asked for a pickle, just one, as he was ordering I swear he mentioned it at least three times because the person didn't seem to put it in. We went to Jimmy Johns as it was in walking distance of our hotel for subs after the concert we went to.... Never in my life would I ever think how badly I wished for subway... Or any other sub.. yes there are bad subs out there.. bread was terrible tasting and the one piece of bacon I had was so salty... it was real bad. The food is amazingly fresh, they label every sub with the person's name who ordered it, you can literally customize any of their tasty suggested choices from the menu, get the guacamole!! A great selection of chips for that much needed salty crunch between bites of fresh baked sub rolls and the freshest meats salads and veggies!! Our nurses doing keto order an "Un" witch with a gigantic crunchy lettuce wrap holding their choice of sandwich, and don't forget the pickles and cold drinks!
