I just enjoyed the best "fish" fry all u can eat here at the Crows Nest. The battered fish was so light it reminded me of the baked cod I've had elsewhere. The pieces are cut into planks and they start you with three pieces along with the fries, Cole slaw and tarter sauce. I learned that it had been at lest a year since switching from a different cut and heavier batter. OMG it was good. My wife had the French dip sandwich which she commented was a bit heavy on the roll and missing some meat. She had the grips I believe instead of fries. I wish I had done that as I'm not scan of this French fry either. To complete her meal she had the dessert of the month that came with an individual bundt cake which was drenched in a specialty whiskey and served with 2 small scoops of vanilla ice cream which was topped with a caramel whiskey topping. She ate the whole thing so I conclude it wasn't overly sweet and that she enjoyed that as well. Good job Dominic and team. read more

Good neighborhood bar. There was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke but they may have been emanating from the large group of people playing darts near us. Our server was very friendly and overall we had a good time. The XXX Hot Wings weren't very hot, and they had that just been thawed, breaded coating on them. I'd eat them again but wouldn't seek them out. We'll be back. read more

I enjoy the crow's nest. Relatively priced and on Sunday, their large pizzas are 1/2 off. They are actually really delicious as well! I like how it's a bar with bar food but it's not too loud or noisy and you can actually enjoy your meal in a casual bar setting. read more

Great daily specials Sunday thru Thursday. Most days have some type of beer special that is reasonably priced. The fish fry on Friday is very good. $10.99 for all you can eat. The fish is crispy without being greasy and the cole slaw is very good. $4 for most craft beers such as Alaskan Amber and the wait staff is attentive and friendly. They have great specials throughout the week. If you've lived in Canton for a while and have never tried it, you owe yourself a trip. A very solid mom and pop restaurant. read more

Good food and very reasonable. My personal favorite is the meatloaf, although there isn't anything in the menu I don't like. I can't find a place here in canton that serves Mickey's this is the only one in Canton that I know of, and I do know my bars. Good work Dominic. read more

Pretty good place. Husband and I went to try it out. I had a twisted turkey sandwich and he had a western burger we both had curly fries . Both were pretty good. Inside was nice for a bar, server was very friendly. Would def go again and try the pizza or a different sandwich. read more

My group of friends and I went here to watch a Wings game. Great atmosphere with the drinks flowing. Many tvs to watch so everyone had a good seat. Too bad they lost. read more

This is our Family's favorite place to go when we just want a casual night out with great food. The Burgers & Fries are awesome here. There salads are really good too. Can't beat Sundays 1/2 off Xlarge Pizza Special, and they make awesome Marys !! read more

The Wait Staff Is Excellent. Never have to wait for a drink or anything else you need. Tvs surround the entire room. The food is always well prepared and they have great specials on both food and beer. Try the rise and shine burger. Half price pizza on Sundays is a great way to watch the games. read more

Racial profiling at it's best. A group of 12 met up for drinks. All ordered alcohol except for one got who ordered water. He was the only one carded for WATER! He was the only black person in the group. I will never step foot in that place again. read more

I picked this place to meet family for dinner because of all the positive reviews. From the second we pulled into the parking lot, it was confusing. There are very few spots in front and then there is a small drive on either side of the building going to the back. It reminded me of an old bank. I saw no signs stating 'more parking in back' or 'another entrance in rear of building'. I followed the drive to the back lot behind the building and noticed a back door. I was once again confused, as I saw an employee smoking. I wondered, is that the kitchen door? Do I need to walk all the way back to the front? This wouldn't be a big deal had the lot been nicely plowed. I went thru the back door anyway..luckily, it was another entrance. The place was packed, but we were able to snag the last table for 6 immediately! They offer half off pizzas on Sunday, great deal for families. There were a couple fish/seafood items on the specials menu, which pleased me as I had a hankering for fish and chips. Much to my dismay, the waitress said that was only available on Friday. :-( a message on the special menu would've been nice.. It is on the regular menu. We asked three times for a children's menu and never got one. My sister asked if they have a chicken strip kids meal, if so, my niece would have that..after we all ordered, the waitress asked if we still wanted the children's menu.. What?? Our food took over 45 minutes to come out. We had to ask another waitress for refills in our drinks because our waitress disappeared. The pizza was good, nice fresh crust, cheesy and hot! I'd probably give this place another star for the quality of the food, but the service was just awful. The bathroom was kind of dingy and outdated. I felt dirty after being in there. read more

The Crow's Nest is a great bar. It's within stumbling distance from my house, so it was an easy place to try when we moved to Canton. Over 6 years later, I'm still a regular. The drink specials and fairly priced (yet really good!) food got me in the door, but the amazing staff has kept me coming. My wife and I know just about every member of their staff, and they're all great. The Nest has become my local bar and hang out spot, and I couldn't be happier that we found the place. If we ever move, I might have to consider adding the place as a selling feature of our home! read more

The staff is friendly, fast and always at hand. While the menu may offer typical fare found in pubs, it is always fresh and generous in portions without being expensive. They offer a variety of beers on tap and bottle ranging from Blue Moon to Miller. There are dozens of large HD flat panel TVs with a variety of programming. The crowd runs from 25 on up. read more

This was our first time here. I should have known when we first walked in to leave. The girl (Becky) glared at us, no welcome or please seat yourself. She came to get a drink order, was even more rude when we weren't ready. Drinks finally ordered, she dropped them off and she walked away. We didn't see anyone for 20 minutes. A different waitress comes to take our order, she was pretty friendly. Food finally arrives and we don't see a waitress for another 30 minutes. No one checked on us or asked if we needed anything. Becky finally comes by to clean dishes. She doesn't ask how our food was or anything. She just starts grabbing the plates so I asked for the bill. When she comes back she was overly friendly. Then finally attentive when I ask for a box...probably because she wanted a tip which she got zero tip. Tip is something you earn not given. We probably won't be back, and will spread the word about the bad service. read more
