I usually frequent the Franklin sq one but was out in the area and decided to check this one out. I loved it. So much space, a lot of seating or if you prefer to stand you can by bar area. Plenty of room. Went in on Monday and they had $.50 wing special. 10 yummy honey bbq w a side of medium hot sauce yum. Lots of great beers on tap but I had to get their pumpkin ale. Love the sugared rim. Service and food were great. This is probably my favorite Croxley's so far. read more

This place is a cool hangout spot for a casual night of drinks with friends. However, I would NOT come here solely for dinner service. Was sat at a table fairly quickly, but table was dirty. We had to ask the waiter to have it cleaned, then had to ask if we would get cutlery when the food came out because there were only 2 settings at the table and 5 of us. Currently laying in bed with a stomach ache from the food we ate last night. The wings were AWFUL- can tell that the wings were prepared beforehand and microwaved to serve because the chicken looked droopy and old, and sitting in a pool of liquid sauce. We got 20 wings of 1 flavor (spicy coconut) because they didn't allow us to mix and match. I would understand if they wouldn't let you do that if you were getting only a few wings, but for 20?? I think that's strange. Stuffed potato skins- disgusting. Crumpled pieces of bacon on top tasted old and burnt. Quesadilla-droopy and also not fresh tasting. Mozzarella sticks and Cajun fries were the only good things we ordered and it's prob cuz they came straight out of the fryer so it tasted fresh. I like the tap selection here. There are about three dozens taps with plenty of local craft options from breweries such as Barrier, Six point, and Port Jeff! The atmosphere is nice too. There is no much of a divider between the indoor bar and the outdoor seating, so the areas are integrated. The outdoor area is tight on Fatmingdale's Main Street which redoubles the liveliness of the bar. The music was mostly indie rock. Lastly, the bartenders are helpful and fairly quick to serve you. read more

This is a New Year's Eve review: My friends and I had a great time this year at New Year's Eve! We were looking for places to accommodate our group of around 12 people with seating and this was the prefect option for us. The crowd was young (21 to about 30-ish) which was a lot of fun. There was room to move around and everyone had a seat. The open bar was from 9pm to 1am, top shelf. You didn't even have to fight at the bar because waitresses came around to the table every 15 minutes or so asking for your drink orders. There was also a buffet with all the wings you could eat as well as other meat/pasta dishes and spinach dip. I saw at the end there was also little desserts. There was a DJ who was fun but not many people were dancing (I danced because hey, why not?). They also showed the ball drop on all the TV screens. I had a lot of fun. It was a good decision. Reservations were required but the dress code was pretty casual. read more

Great place to watch a game, chow down on some wings (some of the best I've had on The Island), explore the diverse beverage menu, and just catch up with your pals. It can get pretty packed in there when popular sporting events are on TV but you shouldn't have much of an issue finding a place to at least stand and watch the screens. Other items usually on our rotation of things ordered are their nachos (HUGE and downright delicious) and curly fries (crispy yet fluffy inside and not at all greasy). I've tried their hottest wing sauce and can attest that it's not for the "delicate of stomach" but I wouldn't rule out trying it again. Worth trying if you're a fan of hot food...or you just want to show your courage/stupidity. The servers are always friendly, fast, and efficient. Be prepared to show ID at the door and not exactly be greeted warmly by the "bouncer" on duty. They're harmless enough though. read more

Seriously, the website of this restaurant needs serious redesign. It's very confusing. People usually want simplicity, and quick information. When I click on locations it does not directly send me to the address of the venue of interest. And all other items of the website seems made by a noob to spam your eyes with bunch of ads, deals, and flashy graphs with non-uniform fonts that are there to confuse the s#$% out of your eyes rather than providing a smooth website made by an experienced web designer. I cannot believe I spend 5 minutes in the website looking for one of the venue's address! I have never written a bad review before but my experience here was so unpleasant I had to say something. I have been to this bar a few times over the years and never really had a opinion on it but yesterday I was at a bridal shower there. They were serving bottomless mimosas , champagne and bloody Mary's but I'm just not a fan of those drinks in general so I went to the regular bar to order my own drinks. Me and my friend got 2 shots of tequila , a tequila/cran , and a vodka soda. I asked how much and they told me it would be 60$ which is a insanely high price for what I ordered so I asked for the price again because it didn't seem right . I got a nasty attitude from the bartender and she immediately got the bar manager who was a even nastier man. I would of paid it I just was double checking because it was a insane amount to charge me. He said "I'd love to know what bars you go to if they charge less then that" and again I said one thing to double check the price and got spoken down to by this man for no reason. Other staff members I already noticed seemed miserable being there and wouldn't be surprised if it was because of that man. Came in about 10pm and was seated right away, great music! Our waiter was super friendly she asked if we wanted a table or a booth, I appreciated she gave us that option. We ordered our drinks they came out right away. We decided on the wings since that's what they're mainly known for. We decided on the Korean BBQ and Sweet Chili. We also got the Calamari. The Calamari came out first and it was so good! Hot and crispy. Then about 15 mins later got our wings and it was the same hot, crispy and flavorful. The food was great our waiter checked on us regularly but not too overbearing. Would definitely come back again, especially for the calamari. This review is based strictly off a Saturday night at 9pm, and just drinks. Also, let me mention, that during the day there was Farmingdale's Lepre-CON (which is a day of drinking from bar to bar down Main Street - super fun, go next year!) The bar was absolutely PACKED! After squeezing in to a spot at the bar, we were able to order drinks fairly quickly. The drinks are reasonably priced! We took our drinks and found an empty spot on the high top bar, which had hooks underneath for our coats (life saver)! It was a very mixed crowd, groups of people ranging from young 20's to 50's! It was interesting for a sat night! And maybe because we got there early (9pm). The Dj set up around 10 and began playing around 1030! It was good music! But there was not much room to dance since the place was so packed! The food that was being served to the tables near us looked very good! Would definitely like to come back to try the food and also come back to the bar on a night that there wasn't a big event going on in farmingdale to see if the crowd has changed! Two stars is being generous. They only got the extra star because they had one an amazing Belgian sour beer which is hard to find. I topically don't do give poor reviews .... You know, if you've got nothing good to say....but the service at this location was so poor, so terribly awful. Our waitress all but ignored us. Took forever to take out order.... We were a party of 5 with a sixth joining us at some point. We placed our orders ( boneless wings, 4 burgers and a Wiener Schnitzel and a half an hour later the only thing that showed up was out sixth party member. Who ordered some apps which arrived 10 minutes before the rest of our food came. We had to flag the waitress to get more drinks, flag her again to get napkins, flag her again to get cutlery for our late arrival. When the food showed up it was very clear that it sat under a heating lamp a while. It was mediocre at best. Nothing special. Sweet potato fries were sorry hamburger patty was bland. The boneless wings are bland.... Medium heat? No, that's no heat at all... Korean BBQ sauce? Clearly no one has ever tasted Korean food in the kitchen. Awesome spot for craft beer and good food. Currently with COVID it's a little annoying with large parties due to the plexiglass partitions. I wish they offered more vegan options as well. The veggie burger seemed like it was vegan but the staff was unsure. Hopefully the next time I go they know the ingredient and or have expanded their menu to accommodate different diets! read more

The "Cry Like a Baby" was unfortunately not as spicy as advertised, still plenty of heat but more like a "Hot" compared to other wing places. These wings come WET, so be prepared for a delicious, goopy mess! Wings were very big and I was very happy with the size. Good service at the counter, asked if I wanted any extra ranch and the bag contained many napkins and wet wipes. I ordered 20 wings to go, but was informed that I couldn't do half and half, I had to do 8 and 12. Okay, odd I guess. I figured that their system couldn't split the order for whatever reason, and I was okay with that. 20 wings were priced at 20.99, 12 wings are 12.99, and 8 wings are 8.99. I was fine with paying a dollar premium to split the wings, no problem. I was somewhat surprised at checkout when my bill + tax came out to $28 and change. I didn't order anything else, and was somewhat surprised by that once I got home and thought about it. It seems like $4 was added to my bill for some reason, but I didn't have an itemized receipt to figure it out. Drafts, bottles, cans, you name it. They have one of the widest selections of both beers and beers on tap. My current (2/21/18) 2 favs are : Other Half's Green City - IPA Imperial 7.0% ABC A gorgeous hazy golden color with a moderate fluffy white head Tones of citrus - grapefruit? Delicious No Samples, No Growlers. Croxley's drives to Brooklyn to pick it up. Draft only. Brooklyn Brewery's Brooklyn Blast - IPA Imperial 8.4% ABC Heavy yet smooth, velvety. Very Hoppy but not so bad that a hop hater like me can still enjoy it. Tones of Apricot. Yum I got a Growler! Yup! Croxleys has Growlers! I know, I totally just made your day didn't I? I threw my fiancé a 30th birthday surprise party in the back room and Croxleys and it could not have gone better. The staff was attentive, the bartender who worked the night was incredible! She was on top of everything and everyone raved about her service. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was! Buffet style is always a hit or miss but everyone complimented the food and said how great the night turned out. I'd highly recommend throwing a party here! It was relatively cheap for beer, wine and food! We had about 60 people and it didn't feel too cramped. I wouldn't do much more than that though. read more

Visited Croxley's just for a few drinks late on Saturday night. The DJ on Saturday night was killing it. I've been here many times and the food is usually good. Drinks are cold. Usually pretty solid. They have a nice amount of space especially compared to their original Franklin Square location and Rockville Centre. Last night I ordered a Founders from Tap that I saw and thought it was All Day IPA but instead it was their stout, which I don't like. Thankfully the bartender was awesome and just gave me a different IPA, which I was very appreciative of since I didn't verify and it was my mistake! They are known for their wings which I haven't had in quite a while but those are always solid. I suggest ordering their sweet potato fries! read more

Ordered two orders of 12 wings, mild and bbq and medium and garlic parm. I arrived home to notice the wings were naked with the sauces on the side. I also noticed that the garlic parm container wasn't closed when packaged and emptied into the container with no sauce left. I double checked the order and made sure I didn't click sauce on the side, I did not. The naked wings resulted in an extremely dry chicken wing, down to the meat. I called to explain that we also had one of the flavors ruined and was met with no accommodations from the staff. 'I must have hit sauce on the side... sorry...' Very disappointed. read more
