Came here for the great vibes, aesthetics, and yummy cocktails. Definitely got what I asked for! The bartenders were amazing, and they did a great job preparing our cocktails. PIÑA PICANTE (TEQUILA, COCONUT CREAM, PINEAPPLE, LIME, SUGAR, CRÈME DE CACAO, TAJÍN) I recommend coming early or end of night to find a spot to sit at the bar or a table as it's popular!

Travel back in time to the 1920s for this great Gatsby era speakeasy. The drinks are well crafted, very traditional, the prices are top end of today, not 1920's prices. There are some small bites here but we only had drinks on this visit. I've been here a few times in the past few years and this place doesn't disappoint. It's a must visit speakeasy. The staff and bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

This was a really cool experience just to go to a speakeasy and hear about this history of the speakeasy. I definitely encourage you to go for yourself and learn more about this area from the people who work here. It's a really cool experience to go. The drinks were really good and I remember really enjoying them at the time. Overall, they were quite strong, but it might be depending on the drink that you choose. The ambience is definitely classier and more upscale, but you don't have to be extremely dressy to feel comfortable. There's a lot of history on the walls that you can learn more about, and they have different stories to share about each wall.

We were in town and decided to go out for drinks at the Cruise Room. I was not expecting a red room but didn't mind it and loved the art surrounding the walls of the room. Our waitress was nice and made sure to check in on us despite it being really busy. The drinks were good, fries were crispy and yummy, overall a great time with good company!

This place is so cool. I don't know how I have missed it! The interior is a step back to the 1950s. The walls have the most unique touches of Asian art. The red lighting makes for horrific selfies but definitely sets a fun vibe. I absolutely adore this little speak easy. And when you leave you have an epic view of Union Station. At 5:50 on Christmas Day, this place was packed. But as soon as a spot opened up, you were welcome to it. The rotation of seating was fairly smooth and the people standing looking for seats found one in under 5 minutes. This staff works fast and nonstop. They were moving swiftly to get everyone served and set. They do have a food menu including a champagne and caviar special. This is somewhere to bring someone when you want them to feel special and experience a completely different side of Denver. We had a French 75 and a Sidecar. Both we delicious and the presentation was elegant. I loved it!

Already made it back and I'm correcting to a 5* experience. This happy hour changes the game! $6 French 75 is crazy. The server was attentive and sweet and the vibes are perhaps the best part of this place. Art deco through and through and the jazzy music puts you in a Time Machine.

We found this place while walking on the street and decided to see if the Oxford had a hotel bar. This is a very quaint art deco style bar. The uplighting is very mood setting and the service is top notch and friendly. We just stopped in for a glass of wine and also to try one of their specialty drinks. Everything tasted great. Definitely a place to try for a cozy drink in the evening.

On a past trip to Denver we were checking out a historic hotel and stumbled upon a speakeasy inside. It felt like you had stepped into the perfect "pre prohibition" underground speakeasy. All the drinks were product of prohibition times and the red lighting helped the ambiance. The place is very small so there can be quite a wait, but the service was great and the staff friendly and helpful.

Very cool bar! It's located inside the Oxford hotel as soon as you enter on the left. It's a swanky vibe and prices that match at around 17$ a drink. The beet farmer drink was delicious! Service was good. There is limited seating at this establishment!

Drinks, ambiance, service was great. We had a good time, and some great custom drinks. Our waitress knew the drinks, and was able to tells us about what was in them and the flavor profiles. Parking was a bit rough, but there was a basketball game downtown, so it was busy.

Amazing drinks, beautiful location and super friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. I was on a business trip and sat at the bar and had an amazing time.

Cool bar! Nice selection of classic and original cocktails. Tried the beet farmer drink which had a really nice rosemary smell and cocktail. The beet powder gave the drink a somewhat strange texture but it was ok. We also had the potatoes and meatballs. Both were good and I think fairly priced. Service was also good. Would definitely recommend.

Is this place still open? Heard it was shut down. :(

They were temporarily closed for renovations but reopened as of this past weekend.

Other times I'm just in the mood for a cocktail that reminds me why I don't waste my time at places that think whiskey and cola is "craft." This visit was all about the cocktails, and Seven Grand absolutely delivered. Josh, our bartender, was running the room like a conductor leading an orchestra of happy whiskey drinkers. He asked what we liked, made a couple of recommendations for Old Fashioneds based on our preferences, and absolutely nailed it. Every drink was balanced, flavorful, and dangerously easy to sip. The guy knows his whiskey, knows his cocktails, and somehow still manages to make everyone at the bar feel like they're his only customer. The whiskey selection is enough to make a bourbon nerd lose all sense of financial responsibility, but surprisingly, we escaped without needing to refinance the house. If Josh doesn't own Seven Grand, someone should probably look into fixing that. Until then, I'll keep showing up to "try just one drink"... knowing full well that's a lie I tell myself every single time. Highly recommend. Just don't blame me when two hours mysteriously disappear.

Milk Bar... it's a 3.5 star rating, I suppose. Ok, will round up…read more The best thing about it is they don't hassle you as bad at the door. They have multiple rooms to explore. The music is good, mostly. But you may need to hop around as it can change so much. So, wander around, you might get lost, but you'll find you way again! (or just ask! ha) Not as great, the drinks are SO weak. It's a little ridic. If I'm paying $15 or whatever for one shot and soda, please let me taste the alcohol? Like, come on! I can buy a bottle for that. Just let me taste it. Bartenders can be hit or miss. I've had some totally cool ones and some really strange ones that seem to have personality issues. Not as much lately, though, just overall in the times I've come here over a few years. Maybe the current bar manager (who introduces themselves as such when you walk in) has got it whipped more into shape. Can you just tell them to include booze in drinks?! Lol Entrance is in the back alley.
