i tried Crumbl and honestly I feel like it's kind of overrated. The cookies look really good and are super big, but they're usually way too sweet for me and sometimes a little undercooked in the middle. I do like that the flavors change every week because it's fun to try new ones, but not all of them are actually that good. It's also pretty expensive for just cookies, so I don't really think it's worth it all the time. I'd maybe get it once in a while, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Will think long and hard before I ever place another order here again as my time is clearly not of any value to the people who run this place. I ordered cookies from three different Crumbles for Valentine's Day. This was the only location I had issues with. The first, may have not been their issue. I ordered using the app not knowing that the store was not open. I will give that to being a corporate/ app issue. The recipients waited and the cookies never arrived. I called and left a curtesy message and never heard back. When the cookies were finally delivered, 4 cookies were in a large box, which made look like some were missing. Since there was so much room, one cookies was smashed, the icing was stuck to the top of the box and it was very disappointing. I will not order from this location again. Today is the last day for Raspberry Cheesecake cookies and the day before Mother's Day. They keep selling out on the Raspberry Cheesecake, however, if you are willing to wait 45 minutes (which I did) you win! There is no seating inside this location. I wouldn't say the service is bad, the employees just aren't exactly friendly. If you order online, you will obviously get your order significantly faster than ordering in the store. While the cookies are "baked fresh," they kind of have that not do homemade taste. They are quite expensive. Cookies are large and shareable, but other chains have better quality with more affordable prices. read more

In my opinion, the most exciting part of Crumbl is opening the menu each Monday morning to set eyes on the new menu of the week. What keeps you on edge is knowing that 4 new cookies are released each week, replacing the last 4. Each cookie remains on the menu for one only! If you miss them this week, who knows when they'll make their rotation and pop up again on the Crumbl display-- two weeks or perhaps 2 months... with each release, you are tempted to try each "limited edition" cookie you have yet to try, or pick up few or more of your past favorites before the week ends. Among many mediocre picks, I've found few that I find whose taste is exclusive to Crumbl. Many cookies have had a nostalgic taste, which in my opinion, does not warrant the price tag. Few are truly new, some are good, most are mediocre, some appear as exciting flavors that are cool to see on the menu (everything bagel cookie?!), some are bad. Like I said, I think the most exciting part about Crumbl is the rotating menu... but price always makes me hesitant to try more. read more

I am a huge Crumbl fan. We were recently turned on to Levain cookies, many people told us they were better than crumbl, but no, after trying a box then coming here, Crumbl still reigns in my heart. We got the pumpkin chocolate chip, cookie butter, and chocolate with peanut butter chips, all very good. I also like that the order came out faster than I have ever experienced, I was still paying at the kiosk when our name was called! That's great service! I did not love this location as much as some of the others though. I am not sure what is typical here, but it was a bit small. They really did not have someone help you at the register, or answer questions, you had to order at a kiosk. I understand things are more expensive due to inflation, but the cost here not only when up since I started coming to Crumbl, but from a month or so ago, which makes it hard to buy cookies often no matter how delicious they are. I also cannot tell if I have achieved the correct points for a gift card, no one was at the register to help. Even though this is not my typical location, Rochester, or the other one I frequent, Novi, I would probably be back. We are in the strip mall often for dinner so I could see up stopping in again. read more

I'm a huge fan of Crumbl Cookies and this is now the closest location to me - I used to drive to the Rochester Hills location but this is about 5-10 minutes closer. We stopped by late last night to pick up this week's cookies ... I sometimes DoorDash them but it's definitely cheaper to pick them up in-store. We ordered the four weekly flavors: Key Lime Pie, Iced Oatmeal, Snickers (PB feat. Snickers), and Triple Chocolate Chip. My favorite was definitely the Snickers, but the Triple Chocolate Chip was delicious too. I'm not a huge Oatmeal or Key Lime Pie fan ... I didn't really like the Oatmeal much, but my boyfriend did; the Key Lime Pie had a fluffy topping and eventually grew on me. It's definitely tart like a Key Lime Pie but also pretty good. I saw the review on here talking about the extra service fee, so I did some investigating in my Crumbl app - they did charge me 6%, but so does the Rochester Hills location, according to past orders. I've also ordered from the Surprise, AZ location, when I was in Arizona recently, and they charged me AZ sales tax plus a 2.5% service fee. It's definitely interesting that the franchise owner can decide whether to charge that or not, but Michigan usually charges 6% sales tax anyways (on non-food items) so I don't mind paying it for delicious cookies, although I do wonder whose pocket(s) it goes into. That being said, counter staff were pleasant at this location too, and I would definitely stop by again, especially since it's only a 10-minute drive from me. I've had decent experiences at this location but lately they are not great. A few weeks ago the cookie was not fully cooked/super hot and the frosting had melted off. They were busy and obviously rushing and not caring about the quality. Last week I was excited for pink sugar to be back and they were terrible. They were too thick with barely any frosting, more like a glaze. Definitely not freshly made either, just pulled out of a fridge. I never do this but I went back in to ask if they had changed. I was told that's just how they look and too little frosting was put on. There was no offer to remake them. The people working there seem nice enough but they need more training or just to care a bit more about the product they are putting out, otherwise people are going to stop spending $5 a cookie. read more

This location just opened so I know they may have to work out some kinks. The staff is working so hard and the line moved relatively quickly. I tried to respond to their customer survey before writing a review, but the link wasn't working... We ordered two cookies, and one was served completely uncooked. The PB cookie was amazing and the flavor of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch was, too; however, as you can see in the photo, we were served a very raw cookie. I'm pregnant and pretty bummed. Pretty disappointing experience yesterday. I placed an online order for a graduation party - 3 boxes of 12 minis. 3-4 hours later I drive 30 minutes to pick it up at the scheduled time. After hearing rave reviews from colleagues, we decided to pop over to our loca Crumbl opening. Staff was working tirelessly and cookies were fresh, so that was great! But the flavors themselves were nothing to get excited over. I was most excited to try the chocolate chip, but it was overly sweet and I wouldn't get it again. The ones with cereal were totally overpowered by the sugary cereals they were coated in. Honestly, our favorite was the sugar cookie. The icing was slightly fruity, and my little one choose that one to (almost) finish. We will be back to give some different flavors a chance in the future. For now though, there are a lot of other places I would rather go for a cookie. read more

I'm so excited Royal Oak has a Crumbl location because I've been itching to try these cookies for months. I tried the honeycomb, peanut butter brownie, Oreo milkshake, and chocolate chip. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually liked these cookies - some of them more than others but that's to be expected. This place was smooth running and it was interesting to see all of the people working to make these cookies. The one thing that i didn't live was the box the cookies came in. I live the pink aesthetic but it's an awkward shape to hold and the box did not close properly. read more
