One of my favorite places to eat ever since it opened. And I never get tired of it. If I could go there everyday I would but it obviously wouldn't be healthy. But when I do go I usually order the regular mozzarella dog with fries and a drink or if I'm really famished I order the potato mozzarella dog. My favorite sauce toppings are ketchup, honey mustard, sweet chili and parmesan cheese sprinkled over the sauces. But this time around I put on garlic parmesan sauce to give it a try. It wasn't bad. My favorite part of course is when i bite into the dog and that cheese pull is amazing! It's so satisfying seeing the melted cheese keep stretching the farther you pull away from your mouth. The fries here are nice and crunchy as well. Not like any other place that sells fries. You literally hear the crunch. And the strawberry lemonade i love the flavor. But i always have to water it down because it's extremely sweet for my taste. Very refreshing though. Now the only thing is that the place itself looks more and more run down every time I go. The place should be worked on and renovated because it's not appealing to the eyes. 3 out of the 5 screens that show the menu don't seem to be working because they were off. The combination for the sauces and condiments that can be used on the dogs are written on peices of paper. The walls and paint look worn out. Not too professional if you ask me. This is one of my Wife's favorite treats. They do what they do very well. She loves the regular mozza with potato and the potato mozza, always crunchy and very filling. I have had their dogs and they are tasty. This is a dense snack that will fill you up good. They have a ton of sauces that you can mix and match and they are not stingy with them. Their fries are good always very crunchy. The staff is always nice and prompt to get you sorted and again very generous with the sauces. There are some random gatcha games here and there. My only grievance with this place is that the place looks like its falling apart. The walls are all bare and what seems like old decor is peeling off. there is some kind of AC/drier machine of sorts in the walk way and half of the screens don't even work. Signs all over are written in sharpie instead of printed. Gives the feeling that the staff is keeping it going while management is phoning it in. Hope this is not the case and things improve, would hate the appearance of the place leads the to failing, or sanitary violations. All in all its a great tasty snack, I would argue one of the kings of junk food. But the location needs to come up to speed with the product. read more

This visit, it appears things may not be going great for the business. The staff are friendly and wonderful as always, and the food is freshly prepared the actual atmosphere felt as though they were closing. The wooden panels were peeling off the wall, the drink offerings were only half working (frozen machine completely off). It just has a vibe that the owners don't care which was sad. But the important thing is the team and food were great. Yes, it may seem a bit pricey for what you get but it's a novelty and worth treating yourself. The outside is perfectly crispy, and the inside is gooey and cheese with a great cheese pull. The potato hot dog is a must-try--the crunchy potato chunks on the outside take it to the next level. I'm really not sure about how to rate this one. I'd say 3.5, but closer to a 3. I stopped here around noon with my daughter and sister to grab a bite before heading home. Walking in, it was a bit warm. The place looks pretty beat up- the wood paneling that surround the counter area and the place were falling apart. It's not real wood, I don't think it's even fake composite wood, it may have been plastic because you can see it was peeling. The tv monitors that showed the menu were a mess with wiring hanging and dangling down. There was no seating inside or even outside. I was hoping to sit down to eat, let alone to sit on while waiting. This is a made-to-order type joint and you have to stand a few moments while waiting for your food to be done. There were two claw machine /games there. I don't recall if there was any music around. It all just seemed pretty sad. Service was ok. The girl who took my order was very transactional. The guy who bagged my food up was nice enough- gave me some crunched up spicy Cheetos to dip it in. When we got home, the food was nothing notable. It was good because I was hungry but doesn't differ from other Korean hot dogs that I've had in the past in town. I saw the pictures of this place from when they first opened and it was nothing like it is now. There was a hand written sign that asked to not video their employees, so I didn't take out my phone to take pics of the place for this review. Sad. I wanted to enjoy this place. I am so sorry to do this! I'm just missing something! I had a little time to kill and I had always wanted to try this place, but the line was always very long. I am not sure why! So I walked in and no one was there. There were 3 girls waiting and no employees. Anyhow, shortly after, a young man appeared to take my order. I'm not aware of the Korean hot dog scene other than it looks so cool! I ordered the mozzarella/hotdog/potato. It took a few minutes and then the employee reemerged from the back and asked what sauces I wanted. I chose, ketchup, mustard and garlic parm. I waited a couple of minutes and took a bite. I was stunned at how there was zero taste! The sauces didn't even do anything! I was super disappointed and took another bite of the top which was mozzarella and the bottom was the hot dog. The quality of the hot dog wasn't good and I ended up trashing it, right then and there outside. I'm sure I'm missing something but this isn't somewhere I would try again. Ok - my daughter has been raving about these Korean dogs for a while. I'm in the area, so time to check it out. Wow. So dang good! Being my first time, I went a little more tame. First up - the mozzarella dog - 1/2 cheese 1/2 hot dog. The first bite and the epic cheese string was awesome. I went with a recommended topping combo - ketchup, honey mustard, sweet chili, and Parmesan cheese. It was definitely on the sweet side, but balanced somewhat by the cheese and hot dog. Second - plain regular dog. Topped with ketchup and garlic Parmesan sauce. Part sweet, part savory. The coating is the selling point. Very crunchy but with a chewy texture that was very good. Definitely loved it. Next time, I will definitely explore a little more, like potato or sweet potato - embedded in the batter and fried with the dog. I imagine like fries on your hot dog. It's fun, and it's interesting. I've been waiting for a place like this to pop up here in Orlando! It's typical street food fare that's fast and easy. The inside of the shop is pretty small, and there is no seating available aside from a single table outside. It can also be a bit chaotic since there's no specific area to wait in line to order and to wait for your order. As for the food, I liked the potatoes and toppings, but I didn't like the hotdog itself. Not sure how to describe it, but it just wasn't that great and didn't go well with the potatoes surrounding it. Overall, it's not the kind of place I would frequent often, but I say it's worth checking out if you want to try a new savory treat in the Waterford area. read more

I did sweet chili and flamin hot cheetos and honey I would drive here every weekend and get it again if I could. It was cooked to perfection and they are made to order so it was hot and so so good. They have recommended sauce combinations as well on the menu if you aren't sure what you want. Korean hot dogs are making their mark on Orlando and while not the first place to have them, it is the first dedicated shop as far I know, and the first in the area as well. More akin to a corn dog, Korean hot dogs have fillings ranging from actual franks to cheese to fish cakes, and combos of those. The outside breading can be plain or decked with diced potatoes. Most of my experience with this dish comes from trying selections from the frozen food section of Lotte Market, but I digress. Cruncheese, originating from Vegas, offers many of these options/combos on their menu, as well as a slew of sauces and seasonings you can add as toppings. You are also able to add squid ink breading, a cheddar cheese wrap, or potatoes to anything on their menu. I had the squid ink hot dog (filling of sausage + mozz) and added potatoes cuz double starch, why not. They cut the sausage so the bottom flares out like squid tentacles-very cute. I added ketchup and parmesean garlic with a dash of hot flaming seasoning. Although I enjoyed it and there was a very satisfying cheese pull, I probably would've asked for more sauce on the side next time, because the flavor felt one note after a while, especially when I got to the bottom half where the sausage was...maybe provide some sauce in a condiment cup on the side? I'm also not sure the squid ink flavor added much, and it comes at a premium. Choosing a sweet topping could've also made this more interesting. Additionally, wirh tax and tip it came to about $9...a far cry from the couple of dollars you'd spend in Seoul--inflation is real, y'all. It being opening week I expected there to be a line, and while there was, I was probably out the door within 30 minutes...not bad for a Saturday! The staff was courteous and efficient. I think the location was a good choice for a street food concept like this and can see it being super popular with the college crowd. read more

My first time having a Korean corn dog and it did not disappoint!! It's a chill, small restaurant. They have worker recommendations incase you're not sure of what you want. I got one all mozzarella and one half mozz half hot dog with sweet chili & honey mustard. SO GOOD!! The wait time wasn't long at all for a Sunday afternoon. I also tried the mango lemonade and it was really good!! They have no indoor seating but there was plenty of seats outside by the store fronts. The customer service was great. We went to CrunCheese in September. Apologies for the late review! My boys and I stopped here after it had just opened to try them out. We'd heard of Korean Corndogs and it was on our list. We tried the Squid Ink Hotdog, potato mozzarella, and mozzarella and sausage. The prices are excellent. However, this was not what I was looking for. The potato mozzarella was just too much potato. I know, I know, it's in the name... but it was like carb on carb on carb. They don't provide enough sauce to really help out on the taste either. The mozzarella sausage was good. I still felt like there was too much breading and the breading wasn't what I was expecting vs a traditional american corn dog (I know... korean corndog). My kids loved the squid ink hotdogs, and they liked how the bottom was shaped like it had tentacles. We overall were ok with the experience. Definitely wish they had a sit down area inside or even outisde, and had some dipping sauces to help out with all the breading and taste. The sauce they do put on isn't enough, and with the takeout option, sometimes it rolls off/smears off onto the container. Definitely try them out - it may be more your thing than ours. Edited to add: At the time we went, they had no air conditioning. They had a fan set up, but I felt terrible for the people behind the counter working in such heat. read more

The crusty shell with the soft inner of the potatoes were great, the crusty exterior of the hotdog went perfectly with the honey mustard sauce and really complimented the hot dog itself! This restaurant is a hole in the wall vibe with standing room to wait in line, order, then leave. It's truly fast food as you would usually take it to-go. The only seating is 1 table outside which is usually taken each time I go. I wish there was more seating so we could eat it hot out of the kitchen! I am SO happy they offer a non-beef option and its the best Korean hot dog I've tasted yet! We ordered the Ham and Mozzarella dogs. There is plenty cheese inside, to the point of cheese-pull action with every bite. The ham added a nice meaty texture to the creamy melted mozzarella. The crunchy batter was perfectly golden brown and held together without any mess as you eat. I noticed they offer Bubble Tea after walking up to the cashier. There's a smaller menu posted by the register that listed bubble tea only. I ordered my boyfriend the frozen mango yogurt bubble tea which came with mango jelly. He liked this but missed the tapioca style Boba pearls that are not offered here. I had the Boba Kolada which was a mix of pineapple and coconut. It was super sweet and refreshing, with chewy pineapple+coconut jelly at the bottom, and topped with little pieces of mango. I have had the vegetarian option in the past, potato+mozzarella, which was good but extremely rich and oily compared to the H+M dog. I stopped in to check this place out since my friend recommended it and it was worth the wait. I went around 7 pm and the line was out of the door. Inside the restaurant, it is quite hot and with the long line of customers the heat and humidity get to you. I would also say you might wanna shower if you leave since the smell of corn dogs and hot frying oil in the air stick to clothes easily. I will say though it is quite an elusive restaurant to find. I was circling the whole plaza since the navigation kept telling me it was on the opposite side. To save anyone else time it is located near the Crumbl Cookies and Panera Bread. The service was great though. The employees were able to help me choose a corn dog immediately. At the end after frying you are able to choose any of the sauces you would like on your meal or the sauce can be given on the side. The jalapeno ranch and garlic parmesan were amazing. I would definitely recommend those two sauces. (I love that the sauces are free with purchase and you can try as many as you'd like. They also have a great combination of sauces that you can try that are on the menu.) You are also able to coat your corn dog in sugar. I got the half mozzarella and hot dog lightly coated in sugar. It was really good paired with the sauces. Though keep in mind that if you do not ask for lightly coated in sugar they will dunk your whole corn dog in the sugar and it will be on the sweeter side. My friend learned that the hard way and she got quite a lot of sugar sticking to hers since the corn dogs come straight from the fryer to the sauce and topping section. Went to Cruncheese for the first time this weekend to see the hype. We really enjoyed our food. I will say that the queue is a little confusing when it gets busy as there is no clear area for people who have ordered vs new customers. They call out your number so keep your receipt. The inside does not have any seating so plan on sitting outside. This wasn't a problem for us but may be hard for large groups or families with small children. As far as the food we loved our Korean Corndogs! The crunch was fabulous and it's nice you are able to choose seasonings and sauces without the extra charge! We will be back. read more
