I was genuinely shocked by the pretentiousness and condescension exhibited at the Apparition Room of Crush and Brew. Having traveled extensively, I have never encountered such a dismissive and ignorant environment, especially in a place like Temecula, California. Upon arrival, we were informed of a two to three-hour wait, only to be texted 24 minutes later. When seated, the staff claimed we had only reserved for two, despite our party of four, and accused us of "sneaking in" due to their own error (mind you, there were tables open and available the whole time we were seated) The bartender's hostility was unwarranted and unprofessional. The drinks were subpar; the "Münchensen on Prime" tasted like burnt rubber, and requesting a simple Old Fashioned was met with resistance because it wasn't on the menu. Four drinks cost $70, which is exorbitant given the quality. To top it off, the hostess informed us, "Last call is at 11:30, and we kick people out by 12/12:15," a statement that felt more like a threat than a courtesy. After our experience, I spoke with the manager of the Crush and Brew, who also oversees the Apparition Room. When I mentioned our dissatisfaction, he offered a complimentary shot. Upon declining, he promptly turned away to take another order..from his waitress, which was wild because he was the one engaging and asking me questions on the experience and when I proceeded to be honest he effectively went on dismissing me because I wasn't there to get drunk and be taken advantage of...just visiting and enjoying our friends company. The Apparition Room's attempt at exclusivity falls flat, resulting in an unwelcoming atmosphere that I would not recommend to anyone. The worst service I have ever experienced. From host to bartender to waitress to manager should all be looked into. Absolutely terrible and I never take the time out of my life to write something like this, but this was an absolute terrible experience and I'm shocked that something like this even exists. Do not waste time or money to be treated so terribly..for no reason. read more

I have been to Crush & Brew a few times before, but this time was the most memorable. It was just myself for a while, so I decided to sit at the bar. Royce, one of the main bartenders was so cool! He was super busy all night, but continued working with a smile on his face. The drinks he made for me were spot on, and all the ones he created for others looked amazing! We had our wedding rehearsal dinner and after party with Crush & Brew and my wife and I can't emphasize enough how great they did. The owners, the manager, the bartenders, and all of the staff were so great to work with and extremely nice. Both of our events couldn't have gone any better. Also, the food and drinks here are very good. We got a lot of people saying how much they liked the cali flatbread. This is fantastic restaurant, definitely worth it to stop by! read more

I stopped into Crush and Brew for Lunch. Their Panini sandwich is so darn amazing. It's totally filling and the bread is very soft and the fillings are a great mix of flavors to protein ratio. Please go and try this gem of a place, you won't be disappointed! Oh and the staff is always prompt and very kind. read more

Had a wonderful dinner last night with my cousins. Everything we ordered was delicious. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The Cajun shrimp and the vegetarian curry were so flavorful and delicious. A must try Customer service is great here. Very friendly and attentive staff specially our waitress. Leaving this review so you don't feel bamboozled like I did. Just a heads up, the food they show on this yelp page is no longer being served at the restaurant. I guess they changed management/chef and so they have a completely different menu. Although I came specifically for some of the food I saw on Yelp, I was still so open minded to trying other things! However, it was really bad :( I don't yelp and just felt like I had to leave a review. Drinks were good & the restaurant was nice but I wouldn't come here for a pleasant dinner. Hope it improves!! Reservations are easy to make online, which is always a plus, in my book. We did that, didn't end up needing it as it wasn't crowded at 6:30 on a Saturday night, but oh well! Food was pretty good. Rest assured, I will be frequenting you from now on. =) On my way back up from San Diego, I texted my Jack 'n Coke buddy to see where we were meeting up for a quick drink. He said to pick a place...Yelp saved me and brought me to Crush & Brew. I arrived first and asked if I could grab the high top out on the patio. Hostess was polite and said yes. I made my way there and browsed the menu as I waited. JnC arrived a few minutes later. I wasn't aware they have a Happy Hour, so that was nice. I got there around 5:30pm on a Monday. JnC wanted an old fashioned and I got a moscow mule. When I saw the pork belly fries on the HH menu, I couldn't resist and gave in. Drinks arrived, followed by the fries. I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion! It looked so good and I couldn't wait to dig in!! We shared them and both agreed it was pretty damn good! The pork belly pieces were nicely cubed and very tasty. It had a bit of a spicy kick which was nice. You're gonna want to eat these fries slowly so you can savor the flavors, don't rush it, lol! I'll be back to try more of their HH fries. I do wish they had more cocktails on the menu, but I can live with what they have. Our servers were very diligent and friendly. The ambiance is very swanky and vibin'. It low key reminds me of Porch & Swing out in Irvine. Parking can be challenging, but there's lots of it on Old Town Front Street and the cross streets. We recently moved to the area and we usually try new places for birthday dinners. We let the birthday person pick the place. This time I celebrated my birthday, it was Monday, and not all places were open. But this was my lucky day because I chose Crush & Brew. It was a pretty slow day, and our order was taken pretty quickly. The food turned out to exceed our expectations! The spicy and creamy sauce in pasta was delicious, burgers perfectly cooked and salad portions were great. A small note on Ceasar's dressing - please try a different one as this didn't taste like handmade. Although 4 shrimps is good, but would be great to have a little more for this plate size. Overall, I would definitely return for the great street views in the evening. PS: Shout out to our server who wore two hats as a bartender and a waiter that day! You did an amazing job! Honestly, I should of have this place a chance a long time ago. Way over due! Love it here! I was intrigued with the menu when I popped in for the speakeasy and was waiting a bit. There were plenty of food options small or big and it was hard to narrow it down. Went with the pasta and omgeee! Fresh and tasty! The manager was very kind checking on the customers and even provided some house Parmesan too. The waitress was a delight as she was social, had service with a smile and was prompt with refills. I've worked in hospitality for a long time. I travel the world and review places to sell for a living. My very favorite thing to do is report when I find a gem and a really great person working there to make me want to come back again and again. Mateo or maybe spelt Matteo, I'm not sure and mean no disrespect, is that person for us. We will now be regulars here due to his personality and his hospitality. He'd worked a full day, since opening and we were his happy hour crowd. He was prompt, fun, personable and everything you love in a dining out setting. Ambiance was good, beer and cocktails were great and the staff was excellent but as a foodie, I must be a tad critical. Although the short ribs were an excellent cut and roasted to perfection, the polenta was very disappointing as it was creamed beyond recognition. Flavor was muted by the cream and anticipated texture had been obliterated. The biggest disappointment was the side dish of Risotto. My wife is Italian; we cook traditional style but tried other ways, here as well in Italy. C&Bs risotto lacked the traditional qualities as was not creamy, not al dente and completely lacked flavor. They did use onions but doubt it was cooked in broth and they added a good white wine. It was served clumpy, and became stickier. We did not have the heart to tell them but felt I must now in hopes they improve. Also, my daughter was served the Pesto pasta which was decent, as tasted like Jared sauce and not made fresh ...but the portion was small for the price point. Will be sometime before we go back. I was super bummed that they took their salt + vinegar fries off the menu. Pleaseeee bring them back!! Seriously the best and my husband and I miss them. Unfortunately last night, we attempted to order some of the great local wines on the menu with our meal, but were informed that management has decided to discontinue supply of local wineries. As a company that specializes in wine and beer (it's in the name "Crush and Brew"), and located in temecula wine country, it is incredibly disappointing to find that they don't support local wineries. My first impression of Crush & Brew was absolutely amazing! First of all the service was top notch. Our waiter Cody was great! He gave off great vibes and was all around a joy to speak with. We had a couple of Old Fashioned's that were crafted to perfection. My date had the Apple Walnut & Goat Cheese salad and I wanted the Cajun Shrimp polenta but we were a little too early for that dish. We ate dinner here last night. First the good stuff. This place has a really nice vibe, nice wine list and our server Joey was great, lots of fun. The food. The chicken wings are amazing, if you like the flaps they are jumbo and juicy. The problem was the first order was not fully cooked pink in the middle. Inexplicably, they brought us another order, delicious but cooked pretty much the same. LOL Linguine and clams was pretty much inedible, the pasta was over cooked , Luke warm and falling apart and well.. The clam broth tasted straight salt. The "crust" of the flat bread does not appear to be home made maybe like something you get at Applebees. I like red pepper flakes on my linguine and pizza. They don't have it! LOL. read more
