The flavor of citrus dissolved over my tongue through every chew...what sort of wizardry is Sarah doing over there...I was sharing with my wife and my intention was to have a couple of bites. Crust & Crumble is a Glendora GEM! It's one of my favorite places to eat downtown. My favorite are their sandwiches on their fresh baked breads. All of their bread choices are delicious and I find myself not being able to stick to one favorite sandwich because they are all so good! You can get a sandwich combo that comes with a bag of chips, a fresh baked cookie and their iced tea is so tasty! Their pastry case is stacked full of tasty treats that are so hard to resist. Holy grail baked goods!! Options for dietary restrictions!! Friendly, thoughtful staff!! This place is phenomenal. Their sourdough (made in-house, I saw some of the loaves rising in a case this morning) is some of the best I've ever had, with a crust worthy of a Parisian boulangerie. Had their ricotta toast (house made ricotta!!) overflowing with fresh strawberries; it was so good I forgot to take a photo. My wife had the avocado toast and we fought over the last bite of crust. Delicious espresso drinks (iced americano and iced almond milk latte were excellent), and the pastries looked so good. Couldn't eat any more after the toast, but I know I'll be back to try everything. Walked into the front door and was immediately and pleasantly greeted by staff. Very clean and the smell upon entering made you want to go into feeding frenzy, reminiscent of a great white shark. They make one of the best snickerdoodle cookies I have EVER had. Really big, about twice the size of a regular cookie, and a good deal for only $1.50 a piece. So basically two cookies for $1.50. I usually try to stay out of bakeries in general, they are dangerous to the waistline! However, Crust & Crumble is just a stones throw away from me at any given time. I use to have to drive to Claremont to buy pastries from Some Crust and wait in their line FOREVER. Crust & Crumble have a gluten-free loaf which is fantastic and I would give them 5 stars but I'm holding that extra star ransom until they come out will another gluten-free option or 3 for us unfortunate souls that can't partake. My kids adore the "old fashioned" candy and ice cream there and we stop by a couple times a month. They have a little of everything and honestly it all looks fabulous!
