Very filling, fresh sandwiches. The build your own sandwich is a terrific lunch choice. Although they were out of most of their breads, their multigrain wheat bread was good with the fresh hand craved turkey (not lunch meat quality at all). Super tender and flavorful with the sandwich ingredients. Would return in the future for lunch. Just hoping the next time around there are the rest of the breads available. read more

Crust & Crumble is the best!! Not only do they have an amazing daytime menu with delicious sandwiches and breakfast items but their bakery is to die for. We went to Crust and Crumble and inquired about desserts for our wedding. The owner & baker, Sarah, was so nice and accommodating. So, a colleague of mine and I were chatting about and sort of lamenting about how it is getting hard to find a good sandwich in Glendora. Places we used to frequent seemed to have gone downhill a bit. She said to me "although, Crust and Crumble does a pretty good job". *Cue the sound of screeching brakes* WHAT? I had no idea C&C made sammies??! I always assumed they were all about sweets only (hence the "...bakery --sweet shop" part of their name). And to boot, I kind of stopped eating those kinds of sweets except for special occasions (I know, my loss). So I honestly had no clue. The next day, I called them around brunch time and ordered my first sammie over the phone. The gal who took my order was very friendly. And then I hightailed it over to pick it up. I had meant to bring it home to eat, but I was SO hungry (had skipped breakfast that morning) that I gobbled it down in my car! ;-D I had roast beef with provolone and spicy cheddar on sourdough. WOW. So good! And they are *not* stingy with the meat! I had so much piled on my sammie, I was able to take some off and use it in another meal later! If you are craving a good sandwich in the Glendora area, look no further; your taste buds will thank you. read more

This is by far one of the best bakeries in Southern California. I know all the effort that goes into making a simple croissant. Its a lot of work, no joke. I have taken Dominique Ansels masterclass on making croissants. A ton of work. We should be thankful for the effort Crust & Crumble puts into making these. The sandwiches are all delicious too. So a big FIVE stars for the pastries, the bread, the sandwiches and the effort. The ambiance is fine for how small the store is. Editing my review because Id run into some bumps with service but happy to report I was just there over the weekend and the service was excellent and attentive. Again, this is one of the best bakeries in SoCal. read more

I'm a huge fan of local candy/ice cream/soda shops.. and this place fits the mold! I stopped in while strolling downtown Glendora was immediately delighted with candy in big glass jars, cases of chocolates, and tubs of ice cream. I ordered a half ice cream sandwich, which is one full cookie and 1 scoop of ice cream for $3.. which is a steal. I shared it with my boyfriend and it was the perfect size for sharing.. even with it being a half size. The molasses cookies are perfectly seasoned and spiced to provide a Christmas nostalgic factor. The mint chip ice cream was also refreshing. My highlight would have to be the enormous Peanut butter dog treats for 75cents. My dog loved these.. they smelled great.. I almost took a bite myself! Crust and Crumble is our go to bakery when we can't make it to our first love (Creme in Claremont)). Honestly, there really isn't much difference as Crust and Crumble has some amazing scones, croissants and muffins. We have yet to have anything bad and the only complaint is that we wished it opened earlier than 0800 so we could grab something on the way to work. read more

Such a yummy place to get some pastries & desserts. And just not pastries, they have really good sandwiches too (I've tried the Italian -yum! I've tried their strawberry croissants, almond croissant, their lemon pistachio olive cake, some cookies, quiche, Italian sandwich, and they were all pretty solid. I Ordered some cookies online. The store has these cute gingerbread houses in the store front. The cookies are delicious and Individually wrapped and perfect for a gift. The oatmeal white chocolate cranberry cookies are super delicious and by far the best tasting cookie I have ever eaten. I also ordered chocolate chip, oatmeal, snickerdoodle and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll exceeded by expectations and it's huge, plus super moist too. I will definitely come back to try the rest of their cookies. The cookies are big and reasonably priced compared to other bakeries. They're located in the heart of downtown glendora. Parking is free. You can order online and their store hours are Tuesday to Saturday. They close at 3pm. So plan accordingly for your pick up. Brunch on the streets of Glendora is the best at Crust & Crumble. My favorites are the the Crusty sourdough egg sandwich and *any* seasonal french toast they offer!! On the way out the door, get a baked good (anything in a croissant or the dark chocolate cookie) to take home. read more

CHEAP ICE CREAM!! Atmosphere: It's one of the shops in Old Town! I love stopping by here when my friends and I are just walking and window shopping. There's plenty of parking outside, and I think there's like one or two tables outside for you to sit. Staff: The staff are super friendly and help you as soon as you step foot into the store. Food: Okay, first, let's be honest, this ice cream is one of those brand-manufactured artificial ice cream vats that most "fast food" ice cream places have. But i honestly enjoy it. It's not bad and there are flavors I don't see often that they have like CHERRY CHIP, which has those artificial cherries in them. I'll probably go back to try a pastry someday though! It's more of the experience than the quality of ice cream you'll find here haha Price: It's like $2 for a scoop and a cone. Super cheap price! Wait: No wait. Crust and Crumble is 10/10. Their breakfast AND lunch sandwiches are incredible. Particularly, I favor the sourdough options. Great quality cheese on both sides, fantastic bacon, well cooked and seasoned eggs, and a perfectly toasted bread slice. I add some celtic salt to the avocado and it is bliss. Pro tip, leave sandwich in box for a minute or 2 to soften the bread for smooth bites. In the name of all things sandwich and crusty crumbles PLEASE open a second location. I got 5 on it. Thank you! I've been going here since this shop opened and it's always been a great place to get a pastry and a good cup of coffee. Their food is top-quality and the staff have been consistently friendly. The reason I can't give more than 3 stars is that in 2021, after a year and a half of dodging COVID, having friends and family get sick and losing some of these loved ones, it's still not enough to motivate staff to wear a mask while preparing food. To be clear, all of the young women behind the counter and ringing us up were masked. Two older staff in the back couldn't be bothered to at least fake it for their customer's safety, however. I mean, the Department of Public Health sign on the front door requiring masks indoors must only apply to customer's right? In case the owners haven't read it, here's some applicable language: "all persons, in indoor public and business settings, must wear a face mask regardless of vaccination status....a)These requirements are aligned with July 28, 2021recommendations issued by the CDC. The CDC recommendations provide information about both indoor and higher risk settings where masks are required or recommended to prevent transmission to: i.Persons with a higher risk of infection (e.g., unvaccinated or immunocompromised persons), ii.Persons with prolonged, cumulative exposures (e.g., workers), or iii.Persons whose vaccination status is unknown." As much as I love their snacks, I love keeping my kids from catching COVID even more. Until then, Starbucks will have to do. read more

I love this place. Its super cute and the service is always top notch, even when it is super busy. It is very small inside so sometimes the line can go outside, but it goes fast. The bakery items are all sooo good! I usually get a plain Americano, which is good so i'm sure their other espresso offerings are just as great. I have tried their cookies, muffins, scones, quiche and the chicken sliders. All have been delicious so i'm sure whatever you order, you can't go wrong! read more

The Turners are local community members, and both daughters, Amanda and Sarah, are proud products of Glendora schools. I noticed the line was continuously about 6-8 people long, and the staff were not fazed at all, consistently friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation. They said the blue velvet was popular, and since I love matcha lattes, I decided to try it. Five minutes later and a beautifully layered subtly sweet drink was in my hand and I was comfortably seated in the corner on an upholstered low chair. A very hospitable, delicious experience! If I lived closer, I'd come here regularly for sure. Highly recommend!

I discovered this delightful bakery just a couple of doors down from my barbershop, and it quickly became one of my go-to spots for food. Since my first visit, I've been impressed by how busy the place always is, but despite the hustle and bustle, the staff remain attentive and welcoming. Their food is simply delicious! The cookies and pastries are absolutely mouthwatering, but that's just the beginning. They also offer a great selection of sandwiches, salads, and yogurt parfaits. And let me tell you, their dinner rolls are to die for! If you arrive early enough, you can catch the heavenly aroma of freshly baked rolls wafting through the air. Being a family-owned business adds a personal touch; they even offer to bring food over to us at the barbershop when we're busy, which is a fantastic perk, especially since they don't have a delivery service. However, I recommend getting there early, as everything is made fresh daily and they tend to run out of popular items as the day goes on. Just a heads up, they close at 3 PM, so plan accordingly! I use to drive all the way over to Claremont to get a Sandwich and goodies at some crust. I always complained about why downtown Glendora didn't have a good bakery.... and now we do. So far their Italian is great and the Roast Beef on French bread and slider buns. All were really good. Can't wait to try more. read more

What really stood out was when I asked for a plastic container so I wouldn't make a mess while eating. The cashier said she had to ask the boss if it was okay, even though the customer before me had been given one without any issue. It felt inconsistent and unnecessary. Overall, it seemed like she didn't want to be there, and that attitude affected the entire experience. Customer service matters, especially for repeat customers.
