I don't quite understand some of the complaints and negative reviews. I understand that you may have seen an ad for a certain brand of tires at an extremely low price with 70% tread, and maybe didn't receive the exact same brand shown in the ad. But come on--at the price you're paying for used tires, it doesn't seem reasonable to leave a poor review or act like you were ripped off. I couldn't afford new tires, and after looking into used tires at several different places, I decided to go here--and I'm very grateful I did. I originally got a quote for four used tires, but due to technical difficulties, I couldn't get my van to the shop. I ended up only needing one tire so I could get the van running again and planned to come back later for the other three. I was worried they might say no or that the quoted price only applied to all four tires, but to my surprise, they were very kind. This place is horrible found a set of used tires on Facebook and messaged saying I'm coming from far do you have the tires advertised in stock they replied yes. Of course they did not have them they brought out some other brand. Sold me a new set of tires in which they installed on my car but were the wrong size. My stock tire is a 205 60 16 They put on a 215 60 16 and did not say a word until I noticed the size was a different size. He stated don't worry these are wider and better. To make things even worse they did not balance the tire so my car was shaking so I went to another tire shop and balanced them for $120 so not only did I pay way more then just going to a regular tire shop I have the wrong size tire on my car. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS !! DO NOT GET SERVICE FROM THEM! Absolute disaster!! I got a flat in the early AM and came to this shop right away. I knew I needed a patch since the nail was in the middle of the tire and my tires were BRAND NEW. I bought them from another shop 1 month prior. At first the guy told me "Yes, just a patch should be fine. $20." I said okay. I waited in the waiting area and 10 minutes later the same man came up to me WITHOUT SHOWING ME THE TIRE and told me I needed a new tire and that my tire is "No Good". Unfortunately I was too trusting of them and didn't ask to see the tire and just agreed. Also they never asked me if I'd like a new or used tire, he just put a new one on. They said it would cost $95 + $10 for tax and card charge. Left it like that until I spoke to my boyfriend about the incident and he immediately was upset. He said I shouldn't have needed a new tire since the nail was in the middle of the tire and they are brand new. He called an hour after the service was done. After multiple tries they finally answered. The lady on the phone was not helpful and hung up on him multiple times!! They didn't want to give any names when asked. He told her he was coming later in the day to see my old tire and pick it up since we have warranty on it. The lady said okay. We come 4 hours later after service and they said my old tire was bad and they threw it in the TRASH!! The guy that helped me LIED and stated he showed me the bad tire when i went in the AM and HE NEVER DID. They had all these mixed stories. The owner didn't help at all as well!!! He said at first they thew it away and then all of a sudden after 30 minutes of arguing they "found it" but it would take 40 minutes to bring from WHO KNOWS WHERE!! The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. That was the highlight of my experience. Against my better judgment and the reviews I've seen I decided to go here. Seen a set of tires on Facebook they told me they had I get there they told me pull to the back I said I don't need installation just the tires then they said they don't have them ( they try to take the tires off your car then offer you other tires they have) they sent me to a shop up the street and said they had them I get there they search for 10 minutes say they don't have them and bring out a different set. Told them I wanted a certain brand and they say the other brand is just as good(mind you they have the wheels off 4 cars telling all the customers to get different tires than they requested) word of advice if they advertise on Facebook market place they don't have the tires!!! Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT GO HERE. As mentioned in other comments the service takes the whole day. I bought a full set of tires and my steering wheel started shaking like crazy on the freeway going 65 mph. They say they balance them but I doubt they even have a machine, I should've just gone to my OG tire shop from the start because they proved that Cruz Tires DID NOT BALANCE THEM. I got a blowout and took them a clearly defective tire that blew out from the inner side wall. Without looking at it they say I need to buy a new tire and that it's not under warranty. Instead of working, 2 other workers tried to spill their knowledge about tires and how I wasn't getting any warranty because I was driving on a well maintained road. Until after and hour of discussing I paid to replace the tire and they said they had to go get it at another shop and i agreed well i had no other choice. After an hour of waiting I asked the woman up front what's going on with my tire and she goes and she "calls" the guy and then indicates another guy to get me a tire and they fetch me a different brand tire when i clearly had all four same!? UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, and TIME WASTERS! Take your business elsewhere! I forgot to add that i manually checked my pressure and a 35 psi tire on a corolla was inflated to more than 60psi! all the pressures were different! you can't tell me thats from driving. these (ALL) folks will jack your car up, and do the same to the following customers after you. will have you waiting & clueless. and apparently no one speaks english, will repeat that if youre upset or asking a question they cant answer. Simple valve stem repair delayed due to poor communication and disorganized service I came to this shop to replace all 1 valve stem because of a slow air leak. From the start, communication was poor and we were not given clear updates about what was happening with the vehicle. One of the workers removed our driver-side wheel and took it inside, and we ended up waiting for over an hour without being told what was going on. Meanwhile, other customers who arrived after us were being helped. During our wait, two other customers also came in and expressed frustration with the service, stating they were dissatisfied with the condition their tires had been in after previous work. They mentioned they had traveled from Riverside, CA. We had to repeatedly ask for updates before we were told anything. Eventually, after asking another customer that can help translate one was helpful!!! Thank you to that customer if you see this!! ( Bronx jersey) we were informed there was a leak, but no one clearly explained where it was coming from or what was being done to fix it. There was also a language barrier, but no real effort was made to communicate what was happening or keep us informed. We were later told there was difficulty with the valve stem installation and that it may still leak, but this was only shared after we pushed for answers. Because of the lack of communication and uncertainty, we left and went to another shop. The second shop diagnosed and replaced the valve stem in under 20 minutes and resolved the issue immediately. Overall, the main issue was not just the repair itself, but the lack of communication, updates, and organization throughout the entire process. I've been going here for a few years now for my tire needs as well as recommended people to this place. While I appreciate that the prices are affordable, I didn't like being lied to. At first I went to just get a tire patch but after examining the tire further it was beyond fixing so I opted for a used tire at $40. I then asked if they had three more at the same price and the lady said yes. When it came to ring up the total she told me that they didn't take card and I would have to go across the street to get cash. When I came back she told me it would be $170. I asked again how much was each tire and was told again $40. I then tried to explain that it should be $160 but was cut off by the other lady standing in there. My issue isn't wasn't with the price, it was being lied to about the price, lied to about accepting card when the customer next to me paid with card (Ive also paid with card here before too so I was confused), and being purposefully cheated out of money not knowing that I could understand everything you and your colleague were saying in Spanish. Honestly none there are major brands, all are mostly economic brands so I was ok with it. I came in for a simple tire patch and left with a scratched rim and frustration. One worker removed my tire and took it to the back, then a different person returned it and told me to go inside to pay. When I returned to my car, the worker stood in front of the tire and handed me the key. It felt odd, but I did not think much of it then. Once I drove off, my tire alarm went off, indicating the pressure was too high. I pulled over to release some air, and that was when I noticed several deep scratches on my rim that had not been there before. I immediately turned around and went back to the shop. At first, they denied any responsibility and were rude and unprofessional. They circled the car looking for other scratches, but I told them the focus was the rim, which the patched tire was on. After finding no other scratches, the manager said they could send it to their contracted shop. However, he warned that it would take a week. I suspect this timeframe is to discourage customers from accepting their offer. They also did not guarantee that the rim would look the same, as I have dark chrome rims. This tire shop is a joke. If you value your car and time, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I will never return and strongly advise others to stay far away. read more

Definitely do not recommend this business. I bought tires from this place. They quoted me a price on specific tires. We agreed and I gave them my keys. I went across the street to get cash to pay. A little while after I returned, the van was ready. The tires they put on my vehicle were not the tires they told me they were going to install. I felt like it was too late and just accepted. That was my mistake. I tried to give them a second chance against my better judgement. I called and asked for tires for my truck that they quoted me the last time I came in. They said they could get them for the price they quoted me. I made an appointment and took the next day off work to go get my tires. When I arrived the next morning, they said they didn't have the tires I requested and tried to sell me other no name tires. After some back and forth, they tell me they didn't actually have the tire size I needed(even though they told me they did before they installed it originally) and would need to buy a new one and pay the difference. After telling them I'm calling the BBB for deceptive practices, they miraculously found the size I needed. I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the unacceptable service I received at Cruz Tires on 6/6/25 during the purchase and installation of two new tires. Upon arrival, I waited for over 30 minutes without being acknowledged or offered any assistance. Despite making prior arrangements by phone--where I was told the shop had 275/60/20 tires in stock--l received no guidance or updates during my long wait. When someone finally helped me, one of the workers rolled out a 275/60/20 A/ T tire and confirmed it was the correct size I had requested and was quoted for. After what should have been a routine tire change turned into a three-hour wait, I inspected my vehicle and discovered that 265/60/20 tires had been installed instead of the 275/60/20 tires I paid for and was promised. When I questioned this, I was told that they did not have the correct size in stock--despite confirming it twice beforehand: once over the phone and again in person before installation. Adding to the frustration, after 1 pointed out the wrong size, I was told the correct 275/60/20 tires were located at another lot and I would have to wait another 1.5 hours for someone to bring them. This would have extended my visit to nearly five hours for a basic two-tire replacement. To make matters worse: * The originally quoted price of $250 over the phone, than $280 in person before service and then was increased to $290 after service, without notice. * I was told there would be a $30 card processing fee--a fee that is unusually high and significantly above the standard $3-$8 range for debit transactions. * I had to request a receipt instead of receiving one automatically, which should be standard practice. This experience was both disappointing and unacceptable. The lack of communication, bait-and-switch tactics, and unprofessional customer service reflect poorly on your business. It is especially concerning that tires of the wrong size were installed without informing me or getting my approval, which could have led to safety risks. This is not only unacceptable but misleading, and it raises concerns about the integrity of the service provided. I also strongly recommend Cruz Tires implement better customer service protocols, clearer communication, and fair, transparent pricing to prevent future incidents like this. Please Beware of Javier and short man possibly the owner since it looked like he was calling the shots and making final decisions and prices. They are the once who created this egregious experience for me, I would be highly advised to record them quoting prices to you in person before service so if you get anything else told you after service you can play it back and correct it. read more

The shop closes at 7 p.m., but they play loud Mexican music until late at night, making it sound more like a bar or a party. It's very disruptive for the neighbors. Even as a Latina, I find it unpleasant to live nearby and constantly hear such loud music. read more

Beware of low prices to get you in the door they don't even balance the tires. There is no balance machine in the shop. When I was on the freeway, my truck started shaking. I brought it back to them, and they said they would balance 2 of the tires. I laughed in their face. Everyone knows you're supposed to balance all 4 tires. They took them to the back behind the wall of tires to balance them, lo and behold. The truck still shaked, I took it to the dealer, and they inspected, and said that whoever balanced, it had no idea what they were doing, they guessed, there was no machine. Showed up early on a Wednesday to find a group of mechanics working hard to get ready for the day. I got out of my car and was greeted immediately with a smile and asked what I needed help with. A mechanic immediately got to work in patching the hole in my tire and replacing my spare with the newly fixed tire. The job took less than 25 minutes.
