Pretty solid food. Decent, thin crust pizza, though sometimes they serve it while the crust is still a bit soggy. Outstanding chicken wings and burgers and a lot of the sandwiches and wraps are quite good. I hate to say this about a so called "Irish" pub, but the corned beef is lousy. Avoid it. Many televisions for those who are into watching sports and a very good, if not outstanding selection of beers. First time I went I loved it but that was couple years ago. Since then I've gone a few more times but I've noticed a decline not just in food quality but more so in service. This last visit Thursday night we went earlier than norm and it wasn't crowded yet. It took the waitress 15 min to make her way to us just for initial hello and drink orders. We always enjoy going for a burger and appetizers after a busy day. We went last night with our grandchildren and I was mortified with how lax they were with sanitation. I get that they are busy and short staffed, but turning over a table during COVID is crucial to keeping us safe and wanting to go back. I was particularly enamored with the Grilled Chicken Pesto, Pepper and Panchetta wrap. The panchetta is crispy and pairs well with the roasted, slightly sweet Italian roasted peppers. The Grilled Chicken is nicely charred and smoky, and smothered in a pesto sauce that is more mayo than pesto, and so more of a basil/mayo. The portion is generous. Their pizza however isn't my thing. It's a tavern style pizza, but I've had better. The cheese was too greasy and sauce too pasty. For a thin crust, it lacked that crispy first and 2nd bites. Nice place, pretty interior. Cool spot that I used to go to in college when it was Millers. Lots of TVs to watch games and a wide selection of IPAs. The pizza was phenomenal and there were tons of choices. The pie is thin crust. My only criticism is that the thin crust didn't hold up on slices that had a lot of toppings as it would sag AND the bottom was a little powderer. This place used to be the Miller's Tavern. . It's now called Cryan's Tavern. It has the feel of a neighborhood Irish Pub. It's not a big place but it has a great atmosphere and it's always busy. Be prepared to wait for a table. I've been here many times now , and enjoy myself every time I come. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The manager Tim Preston is very attentive and welcoming, he never stands still. The bartenders are always serving. When there's a free moment their cleaning and wiping down the bar or tables. The bar is square and a good size for this place. There are flat screens all around the bar, and a flat screen with craft beers and ipa's listed. On the bar every couple of feet are cylinders with pretzel rods for anyone to help themselves. The food is always good . My favorite appetizers are the fresh MOZZARELLA DISKS which are breaded and lightly fried. The CHEESY BACON BOMBS, mozzarella wrapped in puff pastry wrapped in bacon. The NACHOS SUPREME Fresh fried corn tortilla chips with Cheddar & Jack cheese, tomatoes, scallions, black olives, sour cream, salsa and chili. The LOADED FRIES with cheese and bacon and their WINGS which are a good size and come in several varieties. The burgers are equally good. My favorite is the BASLICK BURGER Cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and fried onions cooked the way I like it med- rare. The OLD IRISH BURGER with cheddar cheese, onions, and horseradish sauce. For entrées I've tried the FISH AND CHIPS. and the GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST with vegetables and potatoes. What CRYAN's is known for is their pizzas. They continued the MILLER's STYLE PIZZA and they come with a variety of fresh toppings. The BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA , and the CRYAN's SUPER PIE are my favorites. Cryan's is kid friendly and they have a children's menu. For dessert I like the hot FRIED ZEPPOLES and THE REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER PIE. Cryan's has music.
