Honestly was not looking forward to the chamber as you can tell, but I felt amazing after !
    Shelby C.

Before getting into my review, let me first say I HATE the cold and am super sensitive to cold temperatures. If I had a stronger word than hate I would use that, lol. I have been here before just to tag along with my boyfriend Josiah whose review you can also see here. So my first few visits were just strictly observational for me. I had no interest in partaking in "cold therapy", although my background as a personal trainer and massage therapist helps me recognize the amazing benefits. After being in lots of pain I figured I needed to suck it up and get treatment. I have to emphasize how terrified and nervous I was to get into the chamber. But..I guess when the pain you're dealing with is debilitating you will make sacrifices to get rid of it. The flexors of my forearms and arms have been fatigued due to working on many Massage Therapy clients over the past few months, I decided to take advantage of the first time client special that allows you to try the chamber, localized cryo, and compressions. The chamber indeed got me very cold but it was suprisingly tolerable and the session time is so quick by the time you want to get out because your calves are freezing, your time in the chamber is about to end. For me, since I had some bruising on my right hand flexors my therapist Gonzalo instead opted for light "scraping" therapy and massage work that helped tremendously. He also finished the session with warm towels and put me into immediately the lobby area where compressions are done. They have compression options for legs (most popular), hip/low back and arms/chest. I opted for the arms chest (see photo). After the compressions my arms were extremely relieved of the pain that I originally came in with. This is super crucial for me especially because my arms and body are my tools for work! This is the perfect place to come if you are looking for faster recovery, especially if you dont have the time to lay down for a 60 or 90 minute massage. But that is still an option here which is amazing! They also have other services available like the hyperbaric chamber, etc. We have enjoyed are visits to much we just became Gold Members and cant wait to take advantage of the benefits.

I decided to FINALLY check this place out after looking for a place that deals with Cryotherapy, and being a little bummed that the closest place before Cryo Me is in Roseville. I'd heard about Cryo Me after seeing some flyers that were left on my car window, while parked at the gym. I was looking to schedule an appointment to do the full body Cryotherapy (Cryo) treatment, localized Cryo and the leg massage package. I didn't see where I could set up and appt for all three online, so I left as message around 11. I didn't hear back at around 1:30 so I called again and someone picked up this time, and I was able to setup an appointment for 2:15pm. Once I arrived I walked in the location and noted a sign at the desk right inside of the entrance, that said Cryo Me was located at the far back of the building. My girlfriend, my boys and I walked to the back which is the main area of Cryo Me where you could see the reception desk to the right. And the full body Cryo chamber to the left behind a door that could close for privacy. There was someone just starting they full body Cryo treatment when I got there, so while she was assisted by the receptionist. I filled out some paperwork, and then waited maybe 5 minutes until it was my turn after the lady doing Cryo. Was then transitioned to the leg massage treatment. I went in the back and got down to my underwear and put on the gloves and socks, which protect your fingers and toes from potential frostbite. And got in the chamber after the receptionist adjusted it for my height, since the lady before me was much shorter. And when in the Cryo chamber you need to be have you neck and head exposed to protect your lungs and face. You're in the chamber for all of 3 minutes, but 3 minutes is plenty of time to get the results you need from the -225 degree temperature from the liquid nitrogen. At about -120 I began to feel the constriction of the blood vessels in the skins, and the receptionist began having me turn around in a slow circle. To keep blood circulating to my heart, and to keep my heart working properly. That really does help you take your mind off of how cold you are, and before you know it you're done and out of the chamber. My boys thought it was cool how when the chamber opened, off of the "smoke" came pouring out and they wanted to touched it and see how cold it was. After getting dressed it was on to the localized treatment on my wrist, which is the most recent reason I decided to come in. Since I'd strained the ligaments in my right wrist over a month earlier, and it still isn't 100%. The localized Cryo machine is like that of the cooling machine in an tattoo removal place, so I was pretty familiar with using it. What was weird was that the injured area of my wrist responded more to the treatment the non-injured side. Maybe it was the deep cold treatment constricting the injured ligaments, and helping reduce the inflammation. But all I know is that that injured side really ached from the treatment when the other side of the wrist didn't, regardless of if I was getting treatment to the inside or outside of the wrist. Over the treatment lasted 6 minutes. The final treatment was the leg compression therapy, where you slip into a pair of leg compression sleeves that zip up and contact to a machine. Once the machine turns on the leg sleeves fill up with are and squeeze you legs, with extra focused compression on different parts of your legs at different times. This treatment last 15 minutes, and I finished feeling extreme relaxation in my legs. As if I'd just had a very good deep tissue massage, and my legs had a good tingling sensation for about 10-15 minutes after. All of this as a 1st time patient was ONLY $25....yes $25 dollars. How can you beat that type of therapy for that price? Cryotherapy has all of the benefits of an ice bath after an intense working or training, with out some of the possible side effects. I definitely recommend Cryotherapy treatment and checking out Cryo ME for the Cryotherapy needs!

Very open and welcoming vibe. Friendly and attentive staff. Lots of booths with gloryholes. Large and open main play area. Things that could be better: The place seems a little too well lit, would be nice to have a little darker atmosphere. The music doesn't set a very sexy mood and the volume is too low. You have to turn on the sauna for maybe 5-10 minutes so it can warm up to your desired temperature. They recommend the sauna be 120F for best results. There are different types of workouts, and from what I remember there was cycing, glutes, and iso--just to name a few. Each sauna room seems to accommodate up to 3 people. You can reserve a class ahead of time and complete your workout. The more workouts you complete and the more calories you burn, you earn points to redeem towards items. The iso workout was like 30-45 minutes long. It was actually very challenging. For a workout in which I usually would be able to complete outside of a sauna, inside of the sauna, it was WAY harder, and I came out of the workout DRENCHED in sweat. Outside of the rooms, there are cubbies where you can place your items in. They have cameras on the inside of the building so that can help with the safety of your items in the cubbies. They do offer little life alert lanyards that you can bring into your workout in case you're alone and worry about your safety--whether from the workout or your personal safety. I highly recommend bringing your water bottle and a towel (they do provide towels but there may be a charge). You WILL get easily dehydrated because you are sweating so much. However, the sweating made me feel very relaxed at the end of the workout. I would love to do their workouts again in the future. Some criticisms I saw when I read about the Hotworx workouts in figuring out if I should join or not, is that the workout videos don't change very often and that people wished the instructors provided alternate movements for movements that may be more difficult for people. Just some things I've noticed in figuring out if I should commit to classes. The staff were very friendly in explaining how the facility runs. Overall, I would recommend Hotworx based off my experiences!

No communication at all, not even by email. I called the gym on 5/6/2026 and spoke with one of the front desk associates who walked me through requesting membership cancellation on the Crunch app. I asked clarifying questions to make sure that I was paying any necessary dues to ensure a smooth termination. I was told by the associate that all I was responsible for was the dues for June, which she said would get deducted as it normally does. The month of June came and instead of getting deducted on the day it normally does (as I was told), it got taken out on the first, which was not a big deal; however, then I started getting emails about owing additional dues. I initially thought the email was a scam since the email address was not a Crunch email, so I called the gym once again on 6/11/2026 and spoke with the general manager, Jennifer. I explained the situation and she seemed empathetic. She told me she would speak with membership services to have my dues waived and would confirm with me directly by giving me a call back the next day. It is now 6/21/2026, nine days after I was promised a callback, and this issue has not been resolved. I am receiving ongoing harassing emails. I suggest avoiding membership at this gym. Meanwhile, these amenities are available to other members. This creates a clear sense of inconsistent and unfair treatment toward a specific group of paying members. What is particularly frustrating is that these rules and differences in treatment were not clearly explained at the time of joining or during the sign-up process. Members are not made aware in advance that swimmers may be treated differently or have more restricted access compared to other members. There have also been repeated instances where a female parent has entered the boys' locker room many many times, which raises additional concerns about how locker room access rules are being enforced and managed. I have raised these issues with management, but they have not been addressed in a transparent or satisfactory way. The phone does this weird ring thing and no one answers and the call drops. I try calling from my husbands phone, same thing. They call back sometime later apologizing and saying their WiFi was down so their phones were down. Not a big deal. Also their saltwater jacuzzi is out of service. Not ideal but not the end of the world bc we can use the hotel pool. Fast forward to a week later, I'm checking in early and getting the tour and find out that not only is the jacuzzi out of service but their sauna is too. Le sigh. No biggie, bc facials are always slow and relaxing and this next part will help calm me down. My esthetician wasn't ready when I got out of the massage (was still setting up) so I grab a snack, go to the restroom and tell my husband to enjoy the hotel pool. He pays and then goes to the pool. Facial time! I get in the chair and a scratchy hair protector was put on me and she proceeds to wash my face and put on a quick enzyme mask. That's the first time she steps out the room. I'm not thinking anything of it. She eventually comes back, wipes off the enzyme, and then proceeds to tell me that her heart rate is raising high and she needs to drop it, and I was like ok no worries. I was another min or two and then ask, hey should I get someone? And she says yes I'm having a medical emergency please grab my manager. So I step off the table naked (hoping no one is looking lol), grab my robe, see her lying on her back on the floor with legs elevated on her stool, then I run into the hall and say hey esthetician name is having a medical emergency and the manager and receptionist rush in. At this point I'm calling it and decide to cut my losses and go to the pool. Get the bikini on and am about to walk to the pool when the manager comes back in to ask if I want to continue the facial! I'm concerned this girl is going to pass out on me while I'm on the table, no thank you. She prob needs to go home! Why are you trying to have her work some more when she literally had a medical emergency, so I decline and ask again "is she actually ok?" Am told yes and then offered spf. We return maybe 1 hr 45 mins later and are then told we will only get a partial refund bc the service was almost over, which I am not sure if this is accurate bc I was naked on a table with my eyes closed, not staring at my watch. At this point my flabbers are gasted. My bday was lame. I would expect a spa anywhere to offer a refund for a service that was not completed due to not fault of my own and if they really wanted to be nice, provide a credit to come back and actually experience a proper facial and jacuzzi. Turns out, this location was literally a 4-minute drive away, so of course I had to check it out! I've been wanting to get a feel for some of the different clubs anyway, and I'm glad I did. First off, the location is nice, the entry setup is pretty interesting, and the staff were friendly right from the start. But what really stood out to me was how clean this place was. Like... actually clean. I'm usually not someone who changes in the locker room because I'm always thinking about cleanliness and whether I want my clothes touching everything, but I felt comfortable enough here to actually change and get ready without worrying about it. The equipment was in really good shape, and there was a great amount of equipment available, which I really appreciate. Nothing is more annoying than going to a gym, seeing the one machine you need occupied, and realizing you're about to stand there for 20 minutes waiting. Here, there was enough gear to move around and keep my workout going without feeling like I was fighting everybody for a machine.
