I've been to a few nail salons before, but my nail artist, Jo, really stood out. She took her time shaping my nails and paid close attention to detail. I requested gel extensions with multiple designs, and the total came out to $118. Considering the level of detail and the time she spent, almost 2.5 hours, I definitely think it was worth it. The process was a bit long (my back was definitely feeling it by the end), but I'm so happy with how my nails turned out, perfect for graduation! The salon itself has a really nice ambiance, and you can tell the artists here are skilled, especially when it comes to intricate nail designs. Thank you again for accommodating me last minute. The new owner would call multiple times to ask if I could "come early" when I've made my scheduled time weeks in advance. And this would happen EVERYTIME. What kind of service asks clients to come early? My doctor doesn't do that. Not only so, right after the change of management my first set of chrome nails FELL APART. I've done chrome before and this never happened. The top coat peeled off the second day, and the powder moved around UNDER the top coat. By the end of first weeks only 3 of my nails remained intact. What finally drew the line was my second time, asking for chrome on my pedi, and it was so terribly done, not even and murky. You can see it in the photos. And when I asked to have it redone, they said they'll change it into a regular pedi, even though I've paid for the extra fee for chrome only to have it end up looking awful. Back when Janet was still in management, everything remained professional, and now I constantly see the new manager making Lina and other technicians take on 3+ customers in the span of 2 hours. LESS TIME SPENT, LESS QUALITY. It's so sad, I've had my nails done here for my engagement party, my honeymoon, my wedding, my baby shower... Yes Nails has been with me through so many important events... to see it fall to this point is devastating.

All of the nail techs are great! I request for Cici when I want to do cat-eye or more simple gel manicures. If I want more artsy designs, I'll usually request for Ella or Karen. Gel manis are still $45, with full cat-eye adding an additional $15. Hand drawn art design nails may add between $4-6 per nail, depending on the design; while if you're okay with stickers, it may be $2-3/each. More intricate nail designs will require more time & cost more depending on what it is -- so I would inform them if this is something you want to do so they can allot the right amount of time for your booking. I typically spend about 1.5-2 hours to get my nails done (including removing the previous months' nails, nail trimming, shaping, cuticles, etc.) As stated before: Easy parking in the First St. structure behind the shop. Restroom available in the back of the store & always clean. They also do have bottled water, if needed.

I'm a big fan of cat eye nails and there's endless colors to choose from 5. Reasonable pricing and they always quote you the price before you start to make sure you're ok with it Overall this is my go-to place for nails. I love everyone here!
