When I got there I told her what i wanted, she made some suggestions which I really liked. My procedure took about 4 hours and she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The place was clean and everything was in order. I highly recommend That PMU Place and Sunny. My daughters and my friends saw her work and they can't wait to see the final results after retouch! Exterior = 5/5 Located near the train station, it's on the corner of a street. There is parking (if you are lucky) inside but only a few spots, so most likely go for street parking but wasn't hard to find in front of the location. Interior = 5/5 It was bustling, they have a salon that had customers coming and going. I came specifically for the microblading - so Kelly brought me over to a room on the right that was private which I appreciated since after you close the door, it muffles the sounds of all the activity outside. Service = 5/5 Everyone I encountered were super kind and welcoming. Kelly is blowing up and doing all these cool events with her team with Gold House and still managing weddings all over. Yet, she is still so humble and takes her time to chat and learn more about the customer. I was super nervous to get microblading but she walked me through the process, helped me feel comfortable with the results we were planning, and would check in on me frequently through the whole thing. I felt like I had a say in the process and honestly that a friend was doing my brows - it was casual, relaxed, and chill. Order = 5/5 I got the combo brows which is microblading with powder. I will never not get this. I had patchy brows (over plucking, scarring, yikes) that I was super self conscious of growing up and was having to fill them in. Since getting these done - I barely have had to fill in, maybe a slight touch up if I have an event or need to do some make up. If you like bare faced and natural looks, this was game changing. I'm super not familiar with make up or skilled at it - enough to be dangerous, and this helped me so much. I feel more confident and happier with my brows. Only slight upkeep is needed to trim! I have already gotten my touch up from the initial appointment, and you only need to go maybe every year or so after to touch up. Overall = 5/5 Great investment that I kick myself for not having done sooner. But honestly, glad I waited till I found Kelly. I tried brow lamination, and it wasn't for me. Her microblading skills are top notch and give a very natural look which I wanted. I found my brow girl and never going back. A few friends have gotten their brows done and have always raved about how simple the upkeep is. So I scoured the internet and came across Jeana. Scheduling with her was super easy. She's super easy to talk to and really provides a comforting and homey vibe once you get to the studio. Love the aesthetics - I actually fell asleep while she was working on my brows! That's how comfortable I was. Her studio is located in Downtown Pasadena - it's right next to the plaza that has Mandarin Coffee Stand. Located on the second floor, near the bathroom where you follow a corridor to get to the studio. I actually got my initial brows done with one of the students that she was training. And then I came back for a touch up where Jeana worked on my brows herself. I thought her student did a good job, but I have to say that my expectations were completely toppled after Jeana helped touch up my brows. I definitely trust her expertise and decision making 100%. I don't really know too much about brows, but I had already gotten compliments the day of and even days after where people pointed out how nice my brows look. Process is not painful at all, maybe a 2/10 if I had to rate it. She sent me home with some brow aftercare, which was really nice. And the best part - now I can just roll out of bed with my brows done and not have to worry about them looking sparse or too light! Highly recommend Jeana if you're looking to get your brows done. Their new Temple City location is spacious, aesthetically girly, clean, and calm. Each lash tech has their own space with walls that separate them. The lashing beds are comfy, they offer blankets and I always find myself falling asleep because it's so comfortable. Shoutout to Taya Tian!! She's my go to lash girl, I only book when she's available. She's friendly, fun to talk to, and has the softest touch. I can barely feel her lashing me, I end up taking a nice (and much needed) nap! I was so scared to get them done again because they hurt so much the first time and the color wasn't what I asked for. Lina was super nice and listened to all my worries. She reassured me the pain was going to be minimal and the color of my lips won't heal more purple. I asked for a soft natural pink/mauve similar to the middle of my lips. The tattoo process was a lot faster than I expected and she was right I barely felt anything since she numbed me. When she finished I was shocked on how pretty it was I wanted to tear up. The bottom picture is 2 months healed with only lip balm applied!! The color stayed, my lips are neutralized and my color is exactly what I asked for! I followed her directions & when the time came to see my final results, I was amazed! Just by one treatment and my scar already was so much lighter!!! DO NOT COME HERE - Gina ruined my under eye. What started out as a small white scar close to my…read moreunder eye lid, ended up being crayola colored on in thick white permanent tattoo all under my left eye. 2 days after Gina performed the scar camouflage I knew there was an issue. I immediately reached out to her and she acted nonchalant promising me via text it would fade as "hardly any color was used" - she had me come in a couple of times to micro needle it to help it fade faster and absolutely no change. 2-3 months after no change, she then recommended I go and have it removed via laser. Thank God I did my research and spoke to a few other providers, as I was told the WORST thing I could do to white ink was laser it. That it would turn dark and be 100% impossible to remove. I am now almost 9 months since Gina destroyed my eye and the ink did not move at all. I went on to spend $1500 on microneedling with PRP - didn't move the ink, and recently found a camouflage corrector with many man years of experience who said she has absolutely NO IDEA why anyone with any sense would put white ink in skin that is so thin in my under eye. She also told me the ink would NOT fade but over time would turn yellow. I am now attempting Saline removal as it is my last hope. I have to pay $400 per session and it's 4-6 sessions 12 weeks apart. This has ruined my life. I can't hide my under eye and can hardly leave the house because of what Gina has done. On top of not having any idea what she is doing, she has been BEYOND rude from the start. Absolutely no remorse, support, or help. In fact every time I have reached out she acts as if I'm bothering her. She clearly has no skill and uses patients as her lab rats. I felt I have to leave this review because I would not wish what Gina has done to me on anyone else. I trusted Gina and she made it seem that this was simple and easy and I would need multiple sessions as the ink would be light, all untrue. This has been the worst year of my life and it is far from over - I've had 2 sessions of saline, causing dryness/redness every 12 weeks and seen very little movement. I pray to God it works because if it doesn't the only option I have is to get it removed surgically. I don't know how Gina sleeps at night after doing this to someone who trusted her, I could never. *also, I've adjusted my name and location for privacy* *Pics don't do it justice with how bad it looks - it looks like I have eyelid retraction because the white is so thick* EDIT: I saw her mention of another scar she covered in the response - I don't recall mentioning anything about that in my review. WHO CARES if that looks good, when I have permanent WHITE ink UNDER MY EYER - get a grip on reality lady. Despicable that even now you can't admit your mistake.
