The salon was clean and felt cozy and relaxing. Lisa was my nail tech and she did a really good job. Being the last appointment of the day, she still took the time to remove the gel that I had on, clean up my nails and cuticles, and apply the gel X and design with patience and precision.

First time trying this nail salon as it's in a plaza I frequently visit, but have to take a star away for transparency. My nails are not exactly like the design I showed, but still beautiful. However, I don't think I would have chosen the design or let the person doing my nails to add so many stones, if they had told me that each stone/charm was a charge. I've never spent $132 dollars for just my nails. Two of my nails were broken from another salon so that was an extra $20 I believe, so that couldn't be helped. $10 to remove what was on my nails from the other salon. Around $60 for builder gel which was reasonable. I do appreciate that the person who did my nails was very meticulous and I'd still come back to this salon, so this is not a review to discourage anyone. Just make sure to ask how much a design is, so you don't get surprised. The other salons I've been to have never counted each stone on my finger before giving me an invoice so that definitely caught me off guard. First time customers do get 12 dollars off though if they do both hands and feet I guess? But yeah I spent $200 when I expected to spend less. Beautiful selection of colors though. My nails shine like pixie dust. I probably could have gone without as many stones honestly.

They are super nice, gentle yet super efficient. we came in last minute as a group of 6, and this was my first time getting manicure and nails, and i love the result! Manicure with Yvonne, she very thoughtfully suggested me a soft pink color that just looks clean and won't look too awkward when it grows out, which was exactly what i wanted as someone who's just trying out for the first time. She also checks in with me whether i feel comfortable in each step. Pedicure nails with Daisy, also last minute request, but she executed so efficiently, cat eye was true to my reference photo, and it was so quick! she also helped me choose the color since i had no idea what would look good on my nails and just wanted something clean for a wedding. i enjoyed my first ever manicure + pedicure experience here, and so did all my friends! if i visited LA again and wanted to get my nails done, i would totally come back! read more

Ended up trying this place after seeing the cashiers nails at the restaurant that I was having dinner with my girlfriends. They were super friendly, accepted walk-in thankfully. This was my first and last time here. I got a gel pedicure on Sunday, but the next day, I noticed that my left foot had three toes with chipped nails. It's a bit of a letdown since it shouldn't have happened with a gel nail. I think the top coat quality might not be up to par, and it didn't dry properly. The paint looks quite thick, even with two layers. The person who did my toe didn't ask if I wanted to trim the nail short, and she cut it without asking, and didn't ask how short the nail I want. Overall, I'm not sure I'd want to return to this place. read more

Went here for the first and last time, I asked for gel x extensions with a clear nude and this is what I got for $150!!! I'm so sad with the results. These are literally the worst nails I've ever gotten, the nail tech Ivy did not speak any English so I had a lot of patience trying to tell her what I was looking for. She took so long! and I was uncomfortable. I asked for a pedicure as well and I swear these girls had no idea what they were doing, they asked me to sit Indian style with my legs crossed while they got everything ready lol. I couldn't believe it. Up to this point I just wanted to leave. The pedicure was basic nothing special. But these gel x nails that I paid so much for and on my birthday week are absolutely the worst!! ALSO I CALLED THE OWNER AFTER HER RESPONSE HERE AND SHE PROCEEDED TO NEGLECT A REFUND AND CALLED ME A LIAR WHILE I SHARED WITH HER MY EXPERIENCE. read more

I wanted to try this place since it's next door to where I get coffee before my classes. I made an appointment just in case and did not wait long when I came in. I got cat eye, and they have so many colors!!! Chloe was very gentle and let me know to say anything if it's uncomfortable. I walked into One Plus Beauty today for the first time and I will now be a regular customer. Everything is fairly priced, the color selection is unique and large, the staff is so sweet and accommodating, and my mani and pedi turned out perfect. Customer service here is exceptional, which is hard to come by these days. The vibe is very relaxed and chill. I've been a long-term customer of Aylin for about 10 years (omg time flies) and I am so happy that Aylin opens her establishment again after COVID! Aylin is highly professional yet provides her top-notch services with personal touch. She's very talented in all kinds of design for mani and pedi, as well as eyelash extension. She always gives me her honest opinions if she thinks some design or color doesn't suit me, and she's always correct! Other than being experienced, Aylin is attentive, communicative, yet gentle and sweet. Tbh I went to other mani/pedi for a couple of times when Aylin is not available, but I always come back to her because she is that good! I was really debating on posting this review. I don't like to review based on my first experience but I got my nails done Friday. To begin with the experience wasn't pleasant, I had called for an appointment then they texted me to come in at 12. I arrived at 12 only to wait until closer to 1245 to be serviced. I originally wanted a French tip gel x almond shaped nails but it was already almost 145 by the time the nail tech had already finished placing the nails on and were ready for color. I just ended up doing a solid color to make the experience go by faster. By Monday my thumb nails started to chip I've had gel x extensions last up to 4 weeks that have been done at other places and never has the polish ever chipped before. read more

One of the best nail salon I've tried in the SGV area. All the nail technicians are super patient and detail oriented. My hard gel lasts about 4-5 weeks without chipping. I schedule appts about 4 weeks apart, so I have yet to see a nail chip. I love that my appts don't take forever and that I've never had to wait longer than 5 mins to be seated for a service. I get gel pedicures with Mandy, she is so gentle and friendly. There's nothing worse than experiencing pain or cringing during a pedicure bc it hurts, that won't happen with Mandy! I love that I can book through Vagaro! The atmosphere is peaceful, clean and classy. I do believe you can truly unwind here! Parking is also a plus. When you're done with your appt, pop into Dots & get a cupcake for a full on self care day. I will continue going to Lumi & will report back. PS. I have been going to Aylin for my nails for the past 2 years and let me tell you, she is so amazing at what she does! She is so sweet and really takes the time to do nail prep, which is how my sets are always able to last 4-6 weeks. She specializes in gel manicures and can replicate any design/nail art. Although I usually go for more simple designs, she has a wall full of her own designs that are so beautiful and intricate. Aylin recently opened up her shop and the place is nice, clean, and aesthetic. The chairs are so comfy and she always makes sure to ask if I need a bottle of water. I see that no matter how busy the lady is, she always disinfects each customer's tools. This shop not only does a good job on the nails, but also the eyelashes. As a Japanese-style nail salon, the nail technicians here have extremely high skills. Every time I get my nails done, I'm always satisfied. I'm also a regular customer of this salon and would recommend it to my friends. Every time I get my nails done, I'm always amazed. I always bring pictures I find online to have my nails done, and the nail technicians can make the nails exactly the same as the pictures.

I've had Stella and sunny as my nail techs and both are great! Typically, I do my own gel nails but they don't last as long as getting them done here. These nails last me upwards to a month with no issues so I always get them done before a vacation or a long trip. I always get an almond shape with builder gel and something's gelx if I have a broken nail. I get more simple nail designs but they always nail it. Appointments are usually 1.5-2 hours long , wifi is available and seems more like an appointment only salon.

First of all, they use quality products and treat my hands gently. For example, they wrap each finger individually with aluminum foil paper and just the nails part, unlike other places that wrap your whole hands, which really bad for hand skin (although it saves time removing your old nails). Nicole always takes her time on each of my nails. She knows my nails so well that she make sure to apply double top coat for my nails every time. My nails last 3-4 weeks. Their service is the best, and Elaine always try her best to accommodate my schedule. Love this place

When I got there to double check if they will price match, they said ok. The lady that did my nails was really sweet, didn't speak much English, but did the best she could on pedicure. However, she didn't realize she grazed my pedicure when we transitioned into doing manicures. I pointed out to her that some of the pedicure got removed, so she fixed it and it wasn't until I got home that I realized the pedicure was chipped (on the FIRST DAY that I got it). I asked to see if she can do some simple designs and she had to call her boss over who was originally there, but left and had to come back, because the girl that originally helped me out didn't know what the additional price for designs would be, didn't know how to do it, and couldn't communicate English much with me. I knew limited Mandarin and spoke with what I could that she gave her boss a heads up that I was able to understand them if they were to talk behind my back. She mentioned that they can put a flower sticker on my nails for a smaller fee than the designs I was originally thinking about getting and the boss kinda handled my nails roughly.. When payment came around and I showed them my screenshot of the Groupon deal I would've got if I purchased it online, the boss mentioned that it would be the price if I bought it online, but not the price the store accommodates..? I was kinda annoyed by this, because all of the stores that I've been to for Groupon always matches the discounted Groupon price, but they did not here. I paid it anyway considering it as a tip for the boss and also tipped the nail tech that helped me out since she massaged my feet and hands that was nice. My nails did not last for my trip with the girls at all the next few days and quickly chipped away, so I will not be coming back.

Ling did an absolute masterclass on my nails. The almond shape is perfectly symmetrical, clean, and elegant. The design turned out even better than I imagined--the combination of the shimmering purple/lavender tone with the iridescent, opalescent chrome accent nails catches the light so beautifully! On top of her talent, the studio itself is so clean, bright, and beautifully organized, with an incredible selection of colors and charm options displayed. Ling spent a full 2.5 hours working on my nail set, showing incredible patience, precision, and top-tier attention to detail and cuticle care. She even sets up a lovely snack and drink cart with bottled water, tea, chocolates, and rice crackers to keep you comfortable during your appointment. I've officially found my new favorite nail tech! While I was there, I also watched Irene working on another client right beside me, and she did a wonderful job as well! Can't wait to try her works too. I will definitely be back!
