From my experience, you are able to purchase food at the bowling alley and it will be brought to you. Periodically, someone will come by to check and see how you're doing. They also will remove your dirty food tray whenever you are ready. The bowling alley is a fun family space. However, during tournaments, it can be a tricky place to navigate. Kids definitely should not be wandering around the bowling alley lanes if they are not bowling. Please keep your children close. I have seen so many accidents happen at bowling alleys because kids are not inappropriate spaces. I have only been here to bold during tournaments. I am not familiar with what it is like outside of that. Parking is available in the shopping center lot. There are plenty of spaces, but I will tell you, when there's a tournament, you better get there early to get a good spot. I really like the way that the tournament was run. Everything was very clear and well explained. Hopefully, I will see everyone there again next time.

Arrived 15 mins early prior to my official reservation time, since it was recommended to do so because of the wait time to get shoes. ID and credit card reservation was strict at the front counter, which I did not mind at all. They are actually doing me a favor by ensuring that someone is not performing fraudulent charges. We had lanes 14,15,16 for almost 2hrs. We all had a great time. We encountered a few minor hiccups on lane 14. Misfed pins and loose pins on the side. Lane 15 bumper support went up and would not go down. Notified the front desk. They were compliant but had to wait 5-7 mins to get the issues resolved. It's a bummer we were not getting compensated for the time loss. Regardless, we still had a great time! Went to the snack bar and ordered x 2 large pepperoni pizzas, chicken nuggets and 2 pitchers of fountain sodas. Process is to order first at the snack bar and pick it up at the pizza place outside of the venue. Was a weird set up but still worked. Also ordered 2 pitchers of beer along with assorted cocktails. We all had a very good time. We laughed and we cheered. No complaints at the front desk staff. They were terrific. The snack bar workers can be alittle nicer. They need to work on customer service. I also do not agree with the paying system that is being presented. A Tip option for what? Ordering your food?. This option should be removed from this venue. The pitchers I ordered beer from the bar... they did a fantastic job. The bartender was very nice! Got good vibes from her. I gave her a good tip just for the nice vibes. Overall I recommend this place. It gets packed on Friday and Saturday. There is plenty of parking. A few sketchy patrons at the time of our experience. Today I decided to bring my daughter bowling for girls day, and remembered I had the gift card that had a free game. So I went to the desk to use it, and the cashier stayed it was an arcade card. I explained that the manager gifted us that card due to us not enjoying our game and malfunctioning all night. Manager came out and swiped the card and said there was no balance in the card. I explained that it was given to us and wasn't used. She stated it was an arcade card and it had 5$ credit and was used on a Photo Booth. I felt humiliated and upset that I was given a used card. My daughter was more embarrassed and just wanted to go home. Please work on communication and clarification when resolving complaints from customers that pay for lanes and they don't work!!

We had a lot of first time bowlers (kids and adults alike), and they had lots of questions, requests, etc. Again, the staff handled it like pros. Their snack bar was well stocked, and they have a handful of arcade machines. The place is modern and clean, from the floors to the restrooms, and there's seating in the rear with a pool table and a room for birthday parties and such. On the outside it appears quite small, but they did a good job maximizing the space. More importantly though, their staff were friendly and handled our group like they do this regularly - friendly and knowledgable. We were able to get five lanes for two hours access to their both their pool tables and their hockey table and we were able to bring some outside food in to host in a little area in the back. I always seem to forget that we had a bowling alley down the street from us. It is an excellent place. Since our last visit over the summer, they're now defunct & again renamed to Lucky Strike in 2025. Whew! Bowlero is actually closer to home than the defunct Gable House Bowl, & the very last bowling alley in Torrance after the demise of Palos Verdes Bowl prior to GHB. I went through a phase of bowling at least once per month in my YA years & recently started up again after having kids due to bowling birthday parties. I miss bowling... I bowled for the 1st time when I was teen & can even remember my 1st score of 77. I didn't bowl much, but I'm usually in the mid-range of 150 or thereabouts & have scored a few turkeys in my lifetime. At one point, I had planned to purchase bowling shoes so that I'm not using the public ones since I hung out with friends that either like to bowl or shoot pool. We were invited to a teen's 15th b-day at Bowlero & the space is huge! It has a mini arcade, bar, pool tables, & 40 bowling lanes that's equipped with lounge seats, blacklights, & HD screens that played movies, music videos, & sports. My daughter had a good ol' time with the birthday girl & their friends, most were from her Color Guard team. Both lanes seem to malfunction frequently enough that they didn't get a full 2 hours; the girls didn't seem that into bowling so it was fine. They were served pizza, chips & salsa with fountain drinks. I only wished they were either served before or after bowling to clean their hands since none of them thought to wash their hands between frames. Yikes! ＼(｀0´)／ None could really bowl & scoring 50+ points was an accomplishment with a couple scoring 100+; the random strikes helped in between the gutters. After a couple of rounds, the girls hung out at the arcade; it's on the smaller side with some games that offer tickets that can exchanged at the automated prize hub. I thought Bowlero would be a fun place to hold my 15 YO's birthday celebration the following month because there's so much downtime for her friends to chitchat & hangout. And I happened to find a really great Groupon Deal: $84 for 2 hours of bowling + shoes rental for 6... not sure of the normal rate, but this is $7/hour with shoe rental! I kept it small to help H build relationships with her friends. It's been only a month, & Bowlero is still riddled with technical issues that we spent more time waiting for the tech to fix the problems than bowling. Even with a lane switch didn't do much to fix the frequent downtime. I even requested to be closer to the center of the bowling alley, near the front desk due to the far left lanes' malfunctions. Again, scoring 50+ points was a real accomplishment with one g/f hitting 100+ in the 1st round. At the 2nd go, H had the highest score of 81. I'm not sure when is prime time but the parking lot was half-full at each visit & it was quite busy inside with half the alley in bowling action. Bowlero is a chill place for a family-friendly bowling game or two... if only the technical issues doesn't mar the experience.

However, most employees were cleaning in some way which was a good sign. It did feel a little more fresh and clean at this location than other ones. The entrance was interesting because I'm used to just entering the doors and immediately being inside the arcade, but you have to enter through the dilapidated Lakewood Center mall first, and then take escalators up to Round1. It's also a little hectic coming here, because it's right next to Costco. There were an adequate amount of machines, but it definitely seemed smaller than the other locations I visited in LA. However, the skill games and payout rates were very reasonable and fair, and I made out quite well! I won my first Getter Spin game here because the speed was pretty good. You do have to cherry pick a bit, as some of the popular or newer prizes were behind cheese wheels.

Make sure your whole group is together before start time so you all play at the same time and no one misses out. My least favorite part was the arcade. Some of the games weren't working so that's a bust. Our kids were too young to use the VR game so it would have been nice if they got to ride the bumper cars twice instead of just losing out on that. On top of that there was only one person staffing the VR game, the mini bowling and the bumper cars so it was like 10-15 minutes between each option and there were only maybe 8 bumper cars so when there's a line the kids had to wait about 20 minutes just to ride the bumper cars. There were lines for the bumper cars and the VR so no one used the bowling because there wasn't enough staff.
