This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area! They have many great dishes on their menu and the food always comes out quickly and I've never had a complaint about the food quality. The servers here aren't the best; if they had more friendly staff, I would give this place 5 stars. It's small and quaint inside, but many customers seem to get their food to go so there's always seating. I've been a customer here since they opened. The food has always been great, whether to go or eat there. During the lunch rush they seem to get you in and out quickly. My favorite dish is Com Dac Biet. The flavors are always vivid and the serving sizes are large. We thoroughly the enjoyed: Tom Yum Soup - savory broth with chicken. onions, mushrooms, tomato. Perfect for sharing. Loved the lemongrass and delicate flavors of the broth Bun Ga Nuong - grilled chicken, vermicelli & eggroll with a sauce to pour over The chicken was tender and delicately spiced. I adore the sauce (a lovely balance of sweet, sour and a tad of heat) -- I can buy this by the case or learn to make it!?!!!! We'll be back to eat our way through the menu. read more

For those living on the west side of Portland, rejoice! Here's an affordable and scrummy place for decent Thai/Vietnamese noms. Pad thai is HUGE and chock full of meat and a nice, mild peanut sauce that isn't cakey or thick. I tried another dish that has very thin rice vermicelli noodles in a spicy sauce that hints of hoisin sauce and stir-fried with various vegetables and meat. Pho is a little expensive and the broth is all right--I'd go for the Thai side of the cuisine here! Apparently this place also serves wings and fries...rather random but it's a cool concept that draws in other customers who just want a snack! read more

Clean & comfortable with great food! Though I've had better food and service in the big cities, this is Beaverton. CT Bistro gets a 5-Star rating, meaning you won't get any better here in the burbs. I noticed over the course of my visits here that the service has gradually improved and the food has stayed consistantly good. This is always encouraging to me. It shows a concern for the dining experience and a wilingness to change for the better. Good Job CT Bistro! In case you aren't aware, this restaurant seves both Thai and Vietnames3 food. My server told me that there are two owners, one is vietnamese and one is thai, thus the split menu. Have yet to venture into the Thai options, but loving the VT food. read more

This is our "go to" place when we just don't have time to cook dinner. We usually get one of the curries and a pad thai. Their food is consistently good. Their staff is always friendly, they are pretty quick to get food out to you. This place is definitely a hole in the wall. It's in the Safeway shopping center close to Pip's. If you like thai food and are in the area, I recommend it! I have yet to try something I don't like there. Their portions are quite large too so expect leftovers! Great find! This place is clean, the service is good & quick, and most importantly, the food is delish! There are very few Vietnamese places that offer other kinds of food (in this case, very tasty wings & Thai food we didn't try), and still make convincing Vietnamese food. I had a bowl of noodles w chicken & veggie spring rolls. For $8.50, this was a lot of food. The veggies were fresh, the cha gio chay were very crispy and yummy, and the whole thing was great. Sra Chupacabra had rice & chicken, and could get brown rice. At a Vietnamese restaurant? Brown rice? I wouldn't have believed the food would be good with this many variations on the theme, but we eat a lot of VN food, and we're coming back. Got to trai the Thai! read more

I went here for lunch with my partner and we almost didn't go through the front door. It seemed run-down and I'll admit I was wondering if it was the wrong entrance. The inside however is a nice, clean, welcoming environment. The service is curt but efficient and the food is quite good, not to mention well-priced. Wow!! Unassuming restaurant in strip mall that packs a punch! We were in town last week from the east coast and needed food close to the hotel. Wife found restaurant on Yelp and drove short distance to pick food up. The restaurant did not disappoint! For the prices and portions of the Pad Thai and Bun Dac Biet, they were on point and delicious! Plenty of meat in the bun dish. Pad Thai was awesome! Loved their food! Really delicious and fresh ingredients. Not frozen vegetables (crunchy beans and carrots and peas). And the strawberry lemonade was made with fresh strawberries! Haven't had fresh strawberry lemonade in so long. The chicken satay was so tender and juicy and the pineapple fried rice was excellent. Will definitely add this place to our regular beat. If I had to knock them on something it would be the speed of service. They had maybe 12-15 customers and quite a few take out orders and only 2 wait staff to service everyone. We might have come in during their rush hour (6:30 pm on a Tuesday). It is partly understandable but still inconvenient. This will not stop me from returning to the place soon. read more

CT Bistro is one of my favorite places to eat at in cedar mill! We have always left feeling here satisfied and happy with our meal. Heck, we even had the food here catered at our wedding in September! It was an absolute hit and people kept saying how delicious the food was. Went here yesterday for some quick lunch. I ordered the chicken satay and it was delicious. The chicken was tender, not fatty (I hate fatty meat) and the spices were amazing. The peanut sauce was very nice and a thinner consistency which I enjoyed. I've also had their basil fried rice and pineapple fried rice and both were fabulous as well.
