Sorry to shoot an arrow into this. I have a Golding GL 1800. Called first and went in for a set. He didn't have my brand when arrived even tho he told me he did. So, no biggie, I settled on his advise. I left and experienced steering wobbles. Went back and he re balanced the tires. I left again and experienced more violent wobbles. I called him and he thought it was a bearing. Bought and replace the steering bearings. $$$. Still had a wobble. Went to the dealer. Well, chris put two different brands both the wrong size on my bike. Had to buy from the dealer $$$. Instead of telling me he was out of stock he simply installed incorrect tires. Very dangerous and glad I didn't get hurt. Just cost me a bunch of extra money in the end. read more

The guy is a liar my Sportster wasn't vintage, it was a Nightster. Proof he doesn't know much about Harleys and he never said anything about the spokes or bearings...OUT RIGHT LIAR!!!! This is what happened.. bought a tire there. Went flat next day. My friend who owns a shop came and picked it up on a saturday..couldn't get a hold of CT tires. The tube had been pinched and the tire put on backwards. Chris was nice enough to pay me some money back. I ended up at my friends shop where he put it on right then put a new tube in. They checked the spokes, hub, bearings and everything on the wheel. All was fine.Wow I will never go here again. Especially after his response of lies. Visited Chris today to (finally) replace the tires on my ("Baby") Kawasaki Ninja 250. He had the tires in stock and simply said to come on down for the install. He was very professional and most pleasant to deal with. He allowed me to watch and was OK chatting throughout the process which I enjoyed very much. He reconnected my horn wire for no additional charge. Overall, it was a was pleasurable experience! He said I could stop in any time to have the tire pressure checked. Chris's customer service is so superior to his competition that even though I have the factory tire and wheel coverage for my Harley Davidson and the dealer will fix my flat tire for free, I still take my bike to Chris at CT Motorcycle Tires! Thursday 12-12-13 needed front tire for my fatboy and could not find a local independent shop with a good price. Took a chance and hit google search and CT's came up so I thought I would call them Spoke to Chris and he has the tire and could do it right away. The wife and I were headed shopping so we decided to get it done, we headed over and found the place right away. We met Chris and started talking motorcycles and tires. I explained how i ride and he suggested the same tire i was buying. I asked how a brand i had not used yet was performing and he said quite well. It was a double belted tire and lasted a lot longer than most other tires for my bike. The price was $5.00 more so I decided to try it. Less than 20 minutes later the tire was mounted balanced and in the bed of my truck and all wiped down. Finally and guy who cares for his customers and also rides. If you looking for a place to get your motorcycle tire changed...look no further. The owner is fast, friendly and very good. This was my first time to CT and I was impressed by the quality and speed that he changed 2 tires for me. The price was fair and right on par or better than all other places that change motorcycle tires in the SFV The owner pays attention to detail and leaves the wheels clean. He checks the wheel for any issues with the rim, spokes or any other issues you probably didn't think of or would notice. They sell motorcycle tires and they offer some basic service such as brake pad or oil change. read more

I went here to see the place and if I liked it to order a rear tire for my 07 street glide. Instead I met Chris. Without batting an eyelash he stopped what he was doing and looked at my tire and told me that he had one left and could get me on the road within the hour if I wanted. I've had my tires replaced at CT and the work was done pretty fast (I had to order one of the tires, once they had it, I just rode by on my way to work in the morning and was out within 30 min.) On a second occasion, I had a flat (tube tire). I brought the tire by and had the tube changed (it was in stock) in less than 10 min for $15 (labor). Proprietors are laid back and friendly, know their stuff, this is the way a Cali bike shop is supposed to be. read more

Brought my bike in with a blown rear tire and the owner was able to fix the puncture and replace the tube, saving me $100-$150 bucks and the need to buy a completely new tire. Chris is very helpful and extremely friendly. I got there at 10am on a Saturday, went and had breakfast at the nearby Denny's, and found my bike finished when I returned about 45 minutes later. I was quoted on the phone an out the door price that was very similar to other places I had called, but when it actually came time to pay, the price was 15% less than the original quote, which made it much cheaper than anywhere else. I came to this guy to change the tire on a motorcycle, I speak English poorly and as I could explain that I need to change the tire, but I have a new tire. He began to get mad and unkempt, to behave inadequately. Once again I tried to explain what I needed, but again he began to behave disrespectfully to the client. I realized that he did not put tires that were not bought from him. But this behavior to the client is not professional.
