I came with my son to grab breakfast and cafe con leche on the way to the park. This place was so welcoming the staff was amazing. They paid attention to my son as I was paying to takeout. I love all the frames decor on the wall it's family oriented. I had the steak eggs and potatoes my son and I devoured it. Fresh and hot. The meal stayed hot even at the park and the coffee was made PERFECTLY. I will definitely come here and become a usual

Was a little hard to find, food was ok, but I definitely don't think it's a legit Cuban spot in south Florida. I didn't hear one Cuban accent from any of the employees lol, and that just usually doesn't happen in South Fl. When you grown up in a Cuban family and visit them in Miami throughout your life, you just know these things. Overall it was ok. Maybe if I was in the area and needed something quick, I'd go back. It's not really a sit down and stay kind of place, definitely more of a grab and go.

    Nice spot in pompano

Pork sandwich was season well with grilled onions... The skirt steak was okay I personally don't like that cut of a steak, so I can't give a review on it. I can say it was seasoned well. The salad was given with no dressing; The place is nice and very clean, the staff were nice. Very cozy spot in pompano: . Dell style set up. I saw an orange juice machine and it squeezed fresh juices looked delicious and fresh. Try it out. I think you will be pleased..

It seems like it's difficult to find a great place for Cuban coffee in the Ft. Lauderdale area so I'm happy to have found Cuban Cafe. They serve delicious coffee, pastries, breakfast and sandwiches. There are couple of things to know: parking kind of sucks and there's not a lot of room inside but it's still worth it. The cafe con leche is HOT and sweetened just right. The jugo de mango con leche is my favorite drink and Cuban Cafe makes it perfectly. I ordered the Breakfast Special which is served with 2 eggs, bacon or ham, cuban toast, homestyle potatoes, and a Cuban coffee. This reminded me of a home-cooked meal. The homestyle potatoes had so much flavor and the Cuban toast was just what I needed to soak up the yolk from the eggs. Cuban Cafe is a bit of a drive but I know I'll leave satisfied.

    Media noche sandwich. Sooo good!

This place gets packed!! Make sure you go during off peak hours if possible. We circled a few times before we were able to get a parking spot. Now onto the food. Delicious!!! I had the media noche sandwich which is basically a Cubano on a sweeter roll. Mmmm. Totally my new sandwich. My sister had the oxtail which I had the pleasure of trying. Loved it as well! It meat was fall off the bone and thr flavors were on point.Chris? Coffee - oh man, truly authentic and strong! Loved the cortidito. Slightly sweet, not much milk, and gives you a kick. I will surely be back when I visit my family again

Very friendly staff, answered questions happily. Plenty of servers quick service. Had the Cubano special sandwich, delicious as was the colada, Cuban coffee.

This is a pitiful excuse for a media Noche
    R.T. D.

Drove quite a bit out of my way thinking this was a true good Cuban Cafe because I really wanted a media Noche. how disappointing when we get home and find that it's about 99% ham and maybe 1% roast pork. I won't be going back. a $9 sandwich should be a proper sandwich not a rip off.

    Perfect every time.

Come for the Cuban coffee and it's perfect every time. Best coffee around. Excellent service.

So my review is just for coffee but their cortadito is beyond amazing. It is so smooth and creamy. The guy at the Counter was friendly and the coffee was freshly made as I waited. The service was fast and efficient. I will definitely return when I come back to Florida

Wrapped nicely to go Cafe con Leche

This is the kind of place where coffee isn't rushed it's celebrated. Today's cappuccino was textbook-perfect: velvety micro-foam with a silky, golden crema that held its own until the last sip. Paired with an impeccably flaky cornetto (crisp layers giving way to a buttery, barely sweet interior) and a still-warm chocolate muffin that practically melts on contact, it's clear the pastry case is filled with house-made love. The vibe strikes that rare balance: sophisticated without being stuffy, minimalist yet cozy. Soft morning light streams across the sleek counter, the baristas move with calm precision, and there's just enough ambient chatter to make you feel part of something special. Whether you're grabbing a quick espresso at the bar like a local or lingering over a full breakfast spread, Cafe Sportivo nails the details that turn a simple coffee run into a genuine ritual. Easily one of the best café experiences in town, already planning my return tomorrow. Highly recommend for anyone who believes great coffee and perfect pastries are non-negotiable. #CafeSportivo #BestCappuccino #MorningRitual #LocalGem

A cute lil chocolate cafe in Pompano Beach…read more Came here after the Jellyfish museum since it was so close for a treat. This cafe is tucked away and feels cozy as soon as you enter. The decor is cute and they have areas to sit, one that feels like a living room and then a few more seating with tables. We were greeted by the staff as soon as we walked in and took a seat at one of the tables near the register. I think you can either order at your table or place it at the register. We decided to place it at the register since it looked like they were a bit busy. We got some of the fruit cups and choose to do it as a "PiC and dip". They asked us if we'd like it on a plate with the chocolate dip in the center or in a cup and we each choose the plate for our own orders. The daughter of the owner was super sweet to check with us on our preference and kept checking on all the patrons inside to make sure everyone was doing good. The fruit cup says it comes with seasonal fruit and it looks like all they had were strawberries for this time, which is fine with me since I love strawberries. You could choose either a white, dark, or milk chocolate for the dip. I loved how they also had an option to create your own chocolate bark. Very cute and I haven't seen a concept like this in a while. Overall, a very cute chocolate cafe.

I've been here multiple times in the past and received good service. That changed this morning. The restaurant was empty but for me and 2 other tables. Upon receiving my meal the toast that I requested to be well done was barely toasted. I asked the waitress to toast it more and for more coffee. After 10 minutes she had not returned. I was seated outside and had to get up and track her down. She assured me that she would be out in a minute. About 5 minutes later she returned with the toast looking exactly the same and a luke warm coffee. I brought both to her attention. She told me it was the cooks fault that the toast wasn't toasted more and walked away with just the cold coffee. I waited another 10 minutes for her to return before I once again had to track her down. I kindly asked to speak to the manager. After waiting another 5 minutes she returned. She insisted that she was the manager which I found hard to believe. She said she didn't speak good English and that she tried. I'm sure the owner would be appalled at how I was treated. I won't be going back.
