I was introduced to this cigar lounge by a colleague in San Diego, and upon my visit to New Orleans, I was eager to experience it. Upon our arrival on the first evening, we were kindly greeted by Ebony. We proceeded to find seating in the lounge, and I then made my way to the restroom. While washing my hands, I noticed that the soap dispenser was empty. I informed Ebony of this, and she promptly notified her colleagues, and the dispenser was refilled without delay. After washing my hands, I rejoined my party at our table. Ebony entered the lounge to check on all guests, and upon noticing our readiness to order, she approached us and asked if we had any questions. I inquired about a specific cocktail, and although she was unsure of the answer, she offered to consult the bartender on my behalf, which I greatly appreciated. Upon her return, we placed our drink orders, and she continued to check on us throughout the evening as we ordered additional rounds of drinks. During our conversation, I asked if she could recommend any exceptional dining establishments that catered to our preferred cuisine for our visit. She engaged with us and asked about our culinary interests. She went above and beyond by providing a list of several places tailored to our preferences, all of which proved to be delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, including the service, beverages, and atmosphere. However, it was truly the outstanding service provided by Ebony that made us eager to return. The following evening, we returned with the hope of seeing Ebony, but unfortunately, she was not present. This did not discourage us from staying. We took our seats, and it was quite some time before anyone attended to us. When Audrey finally approached, I asked her if she knew whether Ebony would be working that evening. She informed us that Ebony was no longer with them. Consequently, we understood that Ebony no longer worked at the establishment. We then ordered and received our cocktails. When we were ready to order another round, Audrey was clearing tables, and we asked if we could place another order. She requested a moment. After she finished clearing and cleaning all the tables, she proceeded to retrieve all the lamps from the storage cabinet to place on the tables without putting our drink order in, as we already had an open tab. A table that had been cleared still contained a customer's cigar cutter, lighter, drink, and water. The customer returned from the restroom with a confused expression, as he had not finished his cigar and drinks. Audrey then stated, "Oh, I thought you were done," with an unapologetic demeanor, and escorted him to the humidor to retrieve another cigar. Audrey returned to the lounge, and another couple attempted to clarify to Audrey that the other customer had not yet finished. Audrey, however, responded with a nonchalant attitude, stating "Oh, he was done." As Audrey exited from the lounge, we observed Ebony entering the lounge. We informed her that we were under the impression she no longer worked there. She inquired as to why we held that belief, and we clarified that Audrey had conveyed that information to us. Audrey provided unsatisfactory service and we were ready to close out our tab as we still did not receive or next round of drinks. Following all of that, Audrey eventually asked if we were ready to place our order, and we chose not to order the drinks we had desired earlier in the evening due to her lack of service. Once more, with an unapologetic and nonchalant demeanor, Audrey stated, "That's fine." Ebony came out to close out our tab but we indeed ordered another round due to Ebony's service. Had we encountered Audrey on our first evening, we certainly would not have returned for a second night. Therefore, we extend our gratitude to Ebony for making our initial visit enjoyable and for encouraging our return. Should we have the occasion to return, I would respectfully decline to have Audrey as our service person and would choose not to patronize this establishment unless we could have Ebony as our service person. read more

At first I thought this place was amazing. The venue is great, the drinks were good, and the bartenders were friendly. I'm on vacation and was planning to spend the next few days here enjoying drinks and cigars. Unfortunately, that changed after one interaction with a server. After I paid my bill and left what I believed was a fair tip based on the service I received, the server (Miriam) actually confronted me about it and made it clear they expected a 20% tip. Being hounded over the amount I tipped was uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. Tipping should be based on service and the customer's discretion--not something a server pressures you into. It's a shame because this place has a lot going for it: great venue, good drinks, and great bartenders. But the experience was completely ruined by one entitled server. You got the tip you pushed for, but you also lost a customer who planned to come back multiple times during my vacation. P.S. Matt from CA is a solid employee. He gets 10/10 Side note, the employee processing the sales for cigars could barely pass as a concierge. They cared less about what cigars would work best for you. He couldn't even explain in details about specific cigars. All he cared about was payment and what type of cut you wanted for your cigar. read more

On a recent trip to New Orleans for NYE.. I wanted a cool upscale place to enjoy a good cigar and drink. We Uber'd over and loved the vibe. It was very welcoming and the humidor was just inside the front door. The cigar concierge advised us on the best cigars to complement our drink of choice. The selection was amazing and to say her knowledge was spectacular was an understatement. We had Old Fashioneds (which were perfection) and smoked our cigars on the open patio outside. There are various rooms both up and downstairs to smoke if you choose. There are various tvs all over if you want to watch the game or other sporting event. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. I enjoyed it so much that I honestly forgot to take pictures. I was so happy and enjoyed the experience so much. I can't wait to go back. read more

Bar tenders or very knowledgeable. Only reason I didnt give a 5 is the cigar selection and pricing.. but you do have to take into account this is a tourist destination so pricing will be higher. Called ahead of my trip down to New Orleans to make sure they sold Padrón cigars and they actually answered the phone. It's great to know a business can still take the time to answer a few customer questions! When we walked to the entrance we were greeted by the wonderful aroma of the BBQ place next door and then the bartender at the Cigar bar who remembered my phone call. The bar and lounge areas looked like a great time. They opened up the walk in humidor for my friends and I to check out the inventory. It's a bit tight in there, but there they were a great selection of Padróns - 1964, 1926, Dámaso and many of the thousands series. I also noticed Oliva's and quite a few AJ Fernandez offerings. The prices were a few dollars higher than most Cigar places in the Philly area, but it was a special occasion. My friends snagged some 3000 natural's and a friend treated me to a No 34 Red Label Dámaso. The cigars were fresh and enjoyed by all. Thanks again guys for taking care of us! read more

Really laid back cigar lounge with personality. They have an outside seating area to people watch, full bar, sofas and stuffed chairs, then a huge back room. The server was very friendly and she had a trainee along side her. They explained bar can make anything (no menu) and sit where you want. We had our own sticks but there's a decent humidor to purchase your cigar. There's a huge flat screen TV that was playing the NBA All-Star game and I'm sure they keep what's popular on screen. It was a perfect wrap up to our week in NOLA for Mardi Gras. Lots of regulars were flocking in along with visitors. Everybody was friendly and I highly recommend to check them out. read more

This cigar bar is visually stunning, but our experience was completely ruined by our server, Audrey. We seated ourselves and let someone know, but no one came. The bartender, while stuck behind the bar, was kind and tried to help. When we asked Audrey for service, she rolled her eyes and said, "Yeah, when I clock in." No help, no solutions--just sarcasm. She walked past our table over and over and never once took our order, brought a drink, or checked in. It wasn't busy--she was just ignoring us. At one point, she stood outside on her phone. When we asked to close out, someone else had to ask her. She ran my card, but the tip screen didn't appear (and it usually does). I later tried to flag her down to request a receipt and add a tip, but she ignored me--even when I said "excuse me" several times and made eye contact. I finally walked over, tapped her lightly, and politely asked again. She turned her back on me and shut the humidor door in my face. Only the bartender showed any professionalism. I tipped him directly. We came ready to spend time and money--but were treated like an inconvenience. Audrey's service wasn't just bad--it was rude and demeaning. I won't be returning. read more

I would've given 5 stars, but after me witnessing what I did, I had a change of heart, which is completely warranted. So I was out here for my bday & while my friends were getting themselves together, I decided to grab a cigar from here. I was the first person to come here & they had opened not long prior to me coming. I was greeted by Matthew who appeared professional, but that will change in a moment. Matthew showed me the cigars & I then took a seat at the bar. He asked me would I like a drink & I said "yes". He then said "we need to hold a card, but if you wanna pay cash after that's fine too". I said "ok", thinking this must be the standard here, but I would quickly find out, IT ONLY APPLIES TO SOME. While sitting there a few moments later a guy & girl walked in & were seated. There were also 3 women sitting at the end of the bar who also got a cigar & drinks. This is where it becomes odd & makes you say "hmm". A man walked in (Black) with a woman & placed his drink order & Matthew says to him "we need a card". Now I was very confused by this. The three white women at the bar got a cigar & drink just like me, however they were NOT asked to leave a card, but the Black man & myself WERE ASKED! As you can imagine I was completely turned off & said to myself "I need to get out of here ASAP". I was going to order another drink, maybe even another one after that, but that left me with a completely disgusted feeling. I have been to Nola several times & never experienced racism, but I know it exists & this was a clear example. I will NEVER return & anyone visiting I will be sure to tell them, don't come here unless you want to experience racism. I don't know if a manager or owner will respond, but if you don't believe me, play the video!!! This is completely deplorable & if it wasn't for the tourists coming here, New Orleans would be forgotten & dead zone as some of the areas already look/are. Came here for Mardi Gras and it was CRAZY w/ so many people and the large crowds! Beads, drunks, and half nakedness! Came in to take a break to smoke and have some drinks! I always bring my own sticks when traveling and glad that they let you smoke your own sticks! Many cigar bar/lounges around the world want you to buy a stick and smoke from their offerings only. This place had a nice humidor w/ wide range of mild to full bodied cigars. I was very impressed w/ their selection of wide range alcohol from WhistlePig and Bulleit bourbons to higher end pours like the Macallan Reflexion. Matt the bartender was very welcoming and made me feel at home. He made the quintessential " Old Fashioned" which he told me is 9 out of 10 drinks he makes for cigar smokers. These people have a meager cigar selection, but it's not bad for what they have. The bar staff, on the other hand are ridiculously uneducated about their products. They don't seem to know what a well brand is. It took a server a manager and the bartender to tell me that their well brand scotch is dewars. 10 minutes later I came back and I asked what scotch they recommend, mcAllen was the response. I asked about lagavulin (a potentially very good and expensive scotch with a chance to sell me) and he directed me to the eight year (their least expensive version). I am the easiest person to sell liquor to and to upsell, and nobody even tried. A whole lot of ignoring going on too. One lady who said she was a manager, was drinking wine and smoking cigarettes at the bar talking to her friend, who is also drinking If you know what you want, fine, you can probably get it if you're assertive, grab their attention, and make them take your order. If you don't know what you want, or if you aren't assertive, good luck. I feel like their servers are ripping off their managers for their time since they do a lot of single task things and ignore a lot of people along the way. TWO different servers were helping four different groups around my wife and I without asking one time if we needed anything. I eventually went to the bar to order. What a wonderful hidden gem in the French Quarter. We visited NOLA during Fat Tuesday and it was a total sh*t show on Bourbon Street. This place was a wonderful quiet, comfortable and classy place to sit and relax. They have a pretty good cigar selection and a full bar. Comfortable seats and classy ambience are perfect for a break from the Bourbon street shenanigans. We literally came back every day we were in town and this will definitely be on our hit list when we go back to NOLA. read more
