5/5 all around: ambiance, creative drinks, and delicious bites. Highly recommend grabbing a drink at Jolie!

Warm and romantic aesthetic, beautifully decorated. Wait staff is quick and very attentive. Very aesthetically pleasing. Food was amazing. Tried the Bread Service with Chili Butter and Fig Compote, Pesto Orecchiette, and Steak Frites. The fig compote and chili butter went so well together, salty, sweet and spicy. The Pesto sauce was well seasoned and uniquely delicious. However, I did not like the chicken in the pasta, it had a taste almost like the chicken in chicken noodle soup. The steak was very well seasoned but the fries were nothing special. The espresso martini comes as a double and is extremely good strong, we shared it. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would love to visit again.

Very nice spot. Lots of good street parking nearby. We got to try several drinks and several food items. We tried the deviled eggs which were amazing. The Parmesan fries were really good. The escargot was mid. I really love the vibe inside and the person taking our orders was super chill and answered all of our questions. Definitely a cool spot to visit when you are in town

Absolutely love it here! It's such a vibe! Beautifully decorated & for sure a classy vibe. I've been several times & have always been pleased with the service. The music is great but also depends on when you visit. Typically, I've visited on a Friday or Saturday. I've tried a few different cocktails & have enjoyed each. I've only had the fries for a light bite & they are delicious. Easily becoming one of my favorite places to grab a drink.

I came back to Jolie for their cocktail tasting again and this time I tried the Jolie Burger. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. The Parmesan fries were delicious as well. I'm giving 4 stars because the cocktails from the tasting left a lot to desired unfortunately.

Such a vibey spot!! Came on a Thursday for happy hour (they do it every day from 4-6) but on thursdays they also have live music!! We just got a glass of wine and a mocktail and split some small bites. The deviled eggs were really good. And the sauce with the French fries was addicting. Our bartender was sweet and attentive. She actually made the mocktail for my friend that wasn't on the menu just based on things my friend described that she liked. Such a great spot downtown.

How many things can we cram into a weekend? Mardi Gras, Valentine's Day, All Star Weekend, Presidents' Day, ‍. I tried to keep up with all of it which is why I chose Sunday for a Valentine's moment for the hubbins and I. I went through my lists of places to checkout and Jolie kept from the page. Cozy, distinct, intimate, with a vibe firmly set on the romantic axis. I hadn't noticed that Jolie was directly on a parade route and began to fret when my Uber driver said she would get us as close as possible (1.5 mile walk). I called to let the venue know we would be 10 minutes late for our reservation. I left a message. When we arrived 3:15 the hostess must have seen the slight distress on my face as I began to explain my miscalculation. She smiled gently, saw my reservation in the system and said follow me. I breathed a sigh of relief as I began to take in the atmosphere. It feels like velvet with rich deep colors adorning the walls and furniture. We were sat by a large window facing the street that revelers were setting up for the parade. The window let in enough light to see the menus and eat without disturbing other areas. The bartender and our attendant were great offering suggestions based on our preferences. They did not miss. The food was yummy and I had more drinks than usual. We had a series of appetizers including the deviled eggs which were divine, duck poutine, and parm fries. This is a great spot for an intimate first date or solid relationship. Located on Julia it makes for a great date, visit before exploring the galleries on Julia. It's also good for an outing with friends offering chill vibes and decor. Jolie is definitely a place to go and enjoy.

Love the vibes here and the ambiance is nice. Was able to get seat easily but it got busy right afterwards. Drinks are okay, a bit pricey. The music wasn't bad to me just overpowering loud. My friends were not into it as much. This was a Friday night by the way. Would I go back? Yup.

Good food and ok service. Definitely fantastic ambiance. Dimly lit and comfortable chairs in the main area.

Went for drag/burlesque brunch. The show and performances were a 10/10. Awesome! The decor Jolie is beautiful such a pretty, glamorous space. Our server was not attentive. She took our order and we never saw her again. She didn't even come to check in after our food arrived and therefore couldn't be told our order was wrong. After flagging someone down the mix up was taken care of. The other supporting staff including the manager were great. I get a limited brunch menu but for the price point the options and quality of brunch prices could be better. Enjoyed the creative brunch cocktails. Would definitely return just for the show.

Had a great time at the Jolie! Service was amazing, the guy who brought us our drinks was super kind. Our waitress was very friendly and helped us find our card (which ended up being under our chair) and made sure our experience was amazing. The drinks were great and the corn ribs and deviled eggs were fantastic.

Jolie has easily become one of my favorite places to grab a cocktail in the city. I have been twice for events and at the last event had the opportunity to try their food menu. First, the ambiance is very mellow, chic and chill. It is a bit dark but it sets the mood. Perfect for a girls night out or date night. Their cocktails are always hand crafted and made with just enough liquor. I ordered the Jolie burger and it was delicious! Cooked just right, juicy and flavorful. It also came with a side of Parmesan fries. They were really good as well. I barely had any left. But I look forward to going back. Love Jolie!

I attended a summer cocktail showcase and this place is definitely a vibe. Great for girls night or date night. There was a fashion show to display the new cocktails and we were given one ounce pours of some of the different cocktails. My favorite was the bombshell. It tasted like a spiked pink lemonade.

The presentation of the food came was amazing. We ordered the linguine and added meatballs, which was well worth it. We also ordered the shrimp & grits, which included Brussels sprouts. Boy, it was sure nice to get some vegetables in my stomach after eating all that yummy fried food during our stay! All in all, both dishes were delicious. It is a little on the pricey side, but after several days of eating in the touristy area of the French Quarter, this was truly a welcome change. Service was polite and attentive. I always appreciate the staff's efforts by making simply making eye contact and smiling (which they did). Seems trivial but I think those small things says a lot about a business. I would recommend this restaurant even if you are not a guest of the hotel.

The ambiance is amazing, plus velvet, emerald and sapphire tone, glitzy, and feels like a good photo op. The bar and cocktail menu looked expansive. However, I was going to be hopping on a meeting, so I could not partake, unfortunately. A group got this impressive tower of espresso martini and everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks! I wanted that New Orleans seafood but had late lunch, so I opted for just the crispy gulf shrimp on cheesy grits. I really wished I can hungrier because the dish ended up being very heavy. The shrimp were nice and crispy. The charred Brussels sprouts gave me the false sense that this was a healthy dish because I was getting my veggie intake. The bacon jam was sweet and went well with the Brussels sprouts. I loved the combination of the cheesy grits and the Crystal hot sauce. It was the perfect amount of both and some how led me to understand why Americans put hot sauce on their Mac n cheese and some other cheesy dishes after 30 years of not really understanding the attraction to that combo. I got the marinated olives to go so I could have a little snack later. They were just stuff I feel I could get in a jar... not really sure if I could justify the price. I think this is a fine place if you're looking for a photogenic night out drinking with a group of friends. Could be really cute for brunch!

My wife and I visited on our first NoLa trip together about 4 years ago and make it a point to go every time now. Our first time we stopped in for lunch at the bar and had an excellent experience, and decided to return. We came back on the next trip just to grab a drink and a snack before heading down for dinner in the Bywater. The bartender (Chris) gave a bunch of recommendations for places to visit that way, all of which we have done in the past few trips and have loved. But it's this past trip where we were truly blown away. We were in town for JazzFest and after walking back to the French Quarter, we were thinking about food options and decided to take a gamble to see if we could get a seat at the bar or maybe grab a drink for the road before getting food somewhere else. The bar was full when we got there around 8/8:15, but they had a no show and could serve us, as long as we ordered quickly and were ok with the check hitting the table right at 9PM. Given our slightly (perhaps generous) inebriated state from being at the festival all day and being slightly underdressed, we felt this was quite a kind accommodation. With the clear expectations of needing to get our orders in quickly, we wasted no time making a decision on our drinks and a few food options. Despite this need for a quick turn around, at no time did we feel rushed. The food and drinks were absolutely perfect, as they always are. But what impressed us most was the staff. At no point did the hostess or wait staff seem annoyed by us, despite us parachuting in from a music festival and looking like sunburn and poor decisions. By managing expectations on the front end, we never felt rushed despite the need for a quick turn around. They were all lovely, professional, and as cordial as if we were regulars with standing reservations once a week. In terms of atmosphere, it is always perfect: lively and fun for a date night, dinner with friends/family, or just a nice drink before a night out and about. I truly cannot begin to explain how much I love this restaurant and every experience I've had there. The awards and accolades this establishment (a sincere and lofty term Jewel of the South truly deserves) have been awarded are beyond well earned. Restaurants around the country should aspire to provide the quality of food, service, and overall hospitality Jewel of the South provides on a regular basis. It will continue to be our first and foremost recommendation to anyone we know who is going to New Orleans. Bravo! We shall return!

I would use this version as your gold standard when dining out in New Orleans and looking for a perfect Sazerac. We enjoyed watching bartender Rachel craft each drink. Rye whiskey, Peychaud's Bitters, and sugar are stirred in a small pitcher with ice. The serving glass is chilled, then emptied, and finished with an absinthe rinse along the rim. The cocktail is strained into the glass and topped with a lemon peel. The atmosphere makes the experience even better.
