This place is absolutely amazing! Everything from the food, to the drinks, to the artwork, to the customer service was phenomenal! And don't get me started on the VIP room and the upstairs speak easy! Simply stunning!! My hubby and I and several of my Smart Set Sisters were in town and this place came highly recommended! It did not disappoint! In fact, we can't wait to come back to NOLA and hang out here again! If you're looking for a grownup place with grownup vibes, this place is it!!

This was the day we were leaving to go to the airport to go back home to the Bay Area. We left a god awful seafood spot that was not very good and were looking for a bar to kill time before we left for the airport. We stumbled upon this spot and they had literally just opened 30 seconds ago but was still doing opening procedures. We asked if we could come in and the bartender was gracious enough to let us in. We told her we just wanted a beer and a nice place to chill. We got exactly that. Love the southern hospitality.

This is a lovely speakeasy that also offers a mixology class. We had an amazing time! Lots of history and fun!

We had an amazing time at the mixology class that was hosted by the lovely owner, Camille. Fun and informative!

Baroness is the perfect late night hang out spot. I come for the tasty drinks, yummy creole pizza and crab au gratin dip when I'm out with friends. I stay for the chill vibes and good music. I love that there's space at the bar but also comfy private spaces for more intimate gatherings with friends. I also just recently discovered the VIP area in the back that's available for rent for parties. It has a smaller bar and televisions. Super cute!

Stopped in last night and had a paper airplane. Back today and the bartender set up a round of exquisite cocktails for our afternoon. If you are looking for a mouthwatering experience slide on in for great service.

Crispy Brussel sprouts but they were not crispy at all.

Came on rainy day since our hotel was across the street and bar was pretty empty. Decor was cool, music was loud but was to my liking RnB. But the rest went downhill from there. Service was slow to take our order and actually our drinks. We were a party of 4 and the drinks came out one at time and within 5 minutes of each other. The crab dip was good, but the pita was too crisp. The crispy brussel sprouts were soggy and overcooked. There was absolutely no crisp. Convenient for the Fairfield Inn in terms of location but definitely forgettable.

Purple rain is a very good drink very full of natural flavors and taste really fresh love it

The ambiance is lovely, and sitting out on their patio made for the perfect, relaxed New Orleans evening. The highlight of our round of drinks was definitely the Righteous Harlot cocktail. It comes in a beautiful flute and is a stunning bright pink color, mixed with vodka, dragon fruit cordial, St. Germain, and sparkling wine. It was incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced. We ordered a few different small plates to share around the table. The Scotch Egg was spectacular--perfectly crispy and savory on the outside with a gorgeous, rich jammy yolk inside, served right alongside house-made piccalilli relish. We also tried the Zucchini and Horseradish plate, which was incredibly unique and flavorful. It features a perfectly charred zucchini base loaded with a zesty horseradish cream and topped with beautifully shingles of crisp, fresh zucchini slices. While I didn't get a chance to snap photos of everything else we ate, every single bite was inventive, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and the bartenders really know their craft. We highly recommend dropping in for a sophisticated drink and a few excellent bites!

Sitting for 2 hours watching the regular turnover of the precious seats at the Carousel is still big fun. And having a friendly chat with the constant turnover of strangers sitting next to us is part of the unique charm of the Carousel Bar. As we were leaving Corey the bartender let us know management is shutting down next month for a few weeks for much needed repairs & renovations so the Carousel can add another 50-60 years to its legacy.

There is a small bar bites menu - the Cubano was tasty but a bit overpriced at $18. The service was okay. We ended up getting water from our server that brought us food as the bartenders were too busy making cocktails. There was a jazz band playing on Thursday night when we visited.

The Apothecary was the cure. We grabbed seats mid bar and before we even finished settling in, there were waters waiting on the bar. That simple move already separated this place from the chaos outside. It's hospitality in its cleanest form: welcome in, take a breath, we got you. Inside is low light and old time apothecary mood, menus like a spellbook, but it's not gimmicky. The bartenders move like they've done the reps. Calm. Precise. No frantic showboating, no syrupy cover ups, no sloppy pours even with the parade energy banging on the door. We ordered two and they were both dead on.
