The place is bright, super clean and obviously new. Employees were polite and welcoming. We ordered a Cuban Bowl with pork and a steak sandwich. Both were tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. I do love that the crispy fries are not the ones that come out of a can. We also had an order of mariquitas. These were thick sliced and served with a nice dipping sauce. The portion was VERY small though. For dessert we shared an ice cream bocadito which I loved. Prices are average. If I am in the area, and hungry, I would probably come here again. Although, I would not go out of my way and trek out to Hialeah just for this. It's not one of those places that I would develop a craving for. Although, my husband wants to try their fritas. I would group them with say McD's, BK, Wendy's, Chicken Kitchen, Pollo Tropical... maybe just a step above. read more

Great place for fast, good Cuban treats! The place is kept impeccably clean, the service is great and the food was really good. I got the pan con bistec with a side order of marigitas. My boyfriend ordered their frita with a side of fried yuca (delicious!). What I loved most was the crispy "papita julianas" in the sandwiches (that's what we call them in our household). Reminded me of when how my mom use to make it. Totally recommend this place, just kinda bummed that's it's so far out from us. read more

My husband LOOOOOVES Cuban Guys, so no matter what, I have no choice in whether or not we eat here! The food is a good alternative to traditional fast food. I always have their Frita and my husband has the double Frita. The yuca is okay - honestly, I wish they would have cilantro garlic sauce aside from their mayo-ketchup concoction! The rice bowls look pretty good, and I've heard that the pan con bistec is pretty good as well. Although this place isn't mind blowing, I'm glad they opened up shop. I had heard about this place so since I was in Hialeah I decided to stop and give it a try. The decor is colorful and Latin music is being played to add some authenticity. The girl at the counter was courteous and I looked at the menu on the wall so I chose to try the famous Cuban Frita and a coke. I waited a few minutes and my name was called. I was hungry and I was expecting a huge juicy Frita since my meal was a total of $5.93. I can get a Whopper with fries for about the same price. The Frita was smaller than what I expected but it was good. I was still hungry after I ate it since there were no accompanying fries. I should have ordered two. They also have Cuban bowls at reasonable prices so I may try one next time. I'm a little disappointed but I will give it one more try to see if it will become a favorite place to get a quick meal. read more

Great Cuban fast food! Where else can you find a place like this? No where! Cuban Guys blew me away. I went for lunch and it was packed. Line out the door. They were a little bit slow at processing the orders but well worth the wait. Good place to go on a budget for the daily $5 food plate. I went on Wednesday so it was the (palomilla) steak plate that comes with diced plantains and rice and black beans.... Best Cuban Frita in the world!!!!!!!!!!!! The pan con bistec is excellent as well! The batidos and churros aren't do great though. Kind of a bummer. But I will most definitely drive as far as I have to for that Frita! The chicharritas de platano are pretty good but the dipping sauce isn't! Disappointed me! Sometimes I think I know everything, and then I find out I live in Miami and have never in my life had a frita. Like, ever. I used to order the cuban bowls with chicken every time I came here. And don't get me wrong, they're GREAT. but honestly, the FRITAS are where its at! I am a little ashamed to say that in that one week I went three times to have them. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars and not 5, is because I've had the pan con bistec twice, and both times it has only been ok. Also, too many papitas. ON EVERYTIHNG! Heard about Cuban Guys from Burger Beast, it was super close to my office so I decided to try it out. First off we had a pretty large order, the entire office wanted to try it. So my coworker went and she said the place was really nice, the chef was super friendly as well as the other staff. We ordered 6 fritas (w cheese), to begin, for the price the size is great! As for the taste, the frita was delicious! Side orders of mariquitas and yuca frita, mmm mm yum! Even the mojito for the mariquitas passed my taste test! Must get the flan de cappuciono, impeccable; the texture and taste is so on point! Overall, great quick food stop and we will definitely be ordering from this place for lunch very often. read more

I ordered the Frita Doble with fries. I grew up in Hialeah and have had my fair share of fritas. It was tasty but something was lacking in the flavor. I can't really figure out what but maybe others noticed and wrote it in a review. The fries were good and the service was also good. I wouldn't go there to have bocadito de helado. It's not the spot for that I learned quick. It comes prepackaged and its soggy. The Marquita's are not bad but the mojo sauce was more oil than anything. Overall I gave it 3 stars because it's good but a little over hyped. Maybe I'll try something different here in the future. read more

Very good fast food Cuban cuisine my sister and I usually just go for the pan con bistec (steak sandwich) very yummy! The only negative about this restaurant is the location (Hialeah gardens) this one in specific is way to busy and don't feel comfortable usually eating there, the cleanliness of the restaurant isn't too good either which usually that's my #1 in what I look at on restaurants. Called for pick up and the person who took my order who she told me her name was Krystal, was so rude. Did not greet me when picking up the phone, cut me as I was trying to order, and gave me an attitude when I asked her if she was there because I got no response from her when I was placing my order as she kept complete silence on the line. She should be grateful for the costumers who keep this business open. Im sure if this was her own business and the money was going to her own pocket she wouldn't have been so rude! The owner should be more careful when hiring his employees. With soooo many Cuban restaurant in this area to choose from I will not come here again! I absolutely loved it , it was delicious , my kids constantly ask me to make a FRITA but I don't know how , I made them a burger and told them it was a frita and they called me a liar... lol I felt bad so I tried to Uber eats it and they don't deliver it , I was very sad but I understand now, won't mind driving the extra 20 minutes for some amazing food read more

This is my first time trying Cuban Guys and it's my favorite frita place so far. The mariquitas were great. I like that the food is made fresh to order and is very affordable. The bocaditos de helado were my least favorite thing there. It just doesn't compare to Tio Colo's.
