I had a really awkward meal at Cubby's while I was in St. George earlier this month. I passed their location while driving to Hurricane several times and I was drawn in because it was a cool sign. The food looked good on the website so I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, the place was completely dead. No one greeted me when I walked in and the staff looked annoyed that I had arrived. I browsed the menu and contemplated leaving because it was just so....awkward. I asked the order taker a question and he flat out said he didn't know the answer and then made no effort to find an answer. The food was just okay. Nothing memorable. I felt like a bother for being there and should have definitely went somewhere else.

Regular Tri-Tip Steak Sandwich (6 inch)

AMAZING! I had the Tri-Tip, Cali style. The people working were aware of gluten free menu items as well as their protocols. They were also very helpful with my ordering since it was my first time. The food tasted so good! I wish I had one of these local to me in Southern California.

Regular Buffalo Chicken Salad

Delicious and friendly service :) My new favorite lunch place in saint george. I love that it's all organic and grass fed.

First time visiting this new restaurant. Family said it was some of the best fries they have ever had. So I had to try it myself. We tried the tri tip big dog sandwich and the cockadoodle with rosemary and sweet potato fries. First things first. This is a farm to table establishment and the food is said to be fresh and helping the local farmers. That being said it isn't cheap! High quality ingredients. This is an amazing idea and love supporting local businesses. But even better the menu is said to change based on the season and what is in stock! The restaurant is a fun atmosphere and there was a line from the moment we walked in. Dozens of workers running around making food, cleaning up food and helping guests. The food itself was truly amazing. The bbq tri tip sandwich was high quality beef and the secret sauce was amazing. The sweet potato fries and rosemary were some of the best fries I've ever had! I highly recommend this place! Great food, great staff.

GF DF Soy Free Bun & Burger w/pickles & onion. Get sauce if you can have it. They have a complete Top allergen chart (except sugar).

The staff is amazing! We have both food allergies and intolerances in our group and all of the staff communicated about it. There was an accidental cross contamination with our food and tree nuts and they came and told us that it delayed our burger and that they wanted to make it right. The kids both got T-Rex and enjoyed it, especially the fruit and juice. I got the GF Hamburger which is also DF and soy free. They offered salads but I wanted something heartier. The Top Allergen Chart they have was incredibly helpful. The atmosphere is fun and bright. The other dishes look so good, I wish I could eat them. There is a photo of every dish they have which made it easy to decide.

So GOOD! Clean eating, locally sourced and it doesn't break the bank. Aside from the way friendly taxes greeting you, the options being served are amazing, the dining g area is beautiful, simple & clean & set up so each table has a cozy little spot for private chats. And the music, the best! My daughter danced her way through our lunch. It was most enjoyable! Go, you'll enjoy every outer!

I didn't really see what the hype was about. Just a basic burger fries were $5 on top of the burger. So a burger and fries $17.

Solid Seed Oil-Free Spot in St. George…read more Cute spot off Mall Drive with a huge, somewhat convoluted menu full of plates, bowls, salads, and sandwiches. We went for lunch and it hit the spot for clean eating. I originally tried ordering the Donny Bowl but the cashier said it was unavailable, so I switched to the Power Pasture Bowl (tri tip and eggs). My buddy got the Mediterranean plate. We both selected the cheese bread. No drinks -- they have a water dispenser in the dining room. The dining room was about 25% full. Service is order-at-counter, then they bring the food and bus tables, but a few corner tables were still sitting with dirty plates from the lunch rush. The Power Pasture Bowl came out with beautiful presentation, but I found myself wondering, "What the hell do I do with this?" So I dumped the side dressing over everything and mixed it up -- turned into a delicious medley of flavors and textures. Only issue: it was missing the eggs. I went back to the counter and they quickly brought out a hard-boiled egg sliced in half. (See before/after photos.) Once assembled, it was really good. It's built like a healthier Chipotle (which, btw, loads up on seed oils), but don't expect a hot chef-crafted dish -- more fresh, layered ingredients with turmeric rice, etc. The cheese bread was a highlight -- chewy (tastes like rice flour for the gluten-free vibe) but way better than the dry-looking pita our neighbor had. Highly recommend the cheese bread. My friend loved his Mediterranean plate -- the baked falafel was delicious, everything fresh, generous portions, and nice presentation. Total for two: $35.45 (no drinks). Totally worth it if you're avoiding seed oils and inflammation. Fresh Mediterranean-leaning fare with a Whole Foods vibe. Great for bowls and plates. If you're craving something hotter, I've heard good things about Outback Steakhouse, Street Eats, and Buffalo Wild Wings -- they use beef tallow. Aubergine Kitchen has a sign saying to let them know about allergies, but missing the eggs on my bowl makes me wonder how on top of that they are. Still, overall a win for clean eating. Would recommend and go back. See attached photos (before/after bowl, cheese bread, etc.)
