Place needs some work. The service is a little too laid back and very slow. Went on a Friday night it was busy but tables were empty so it wasn't crazy, and it took very long for the food to arrive. Aside from that, the service is slow and the waiters (teens) are too laid back. The only upside is it's BYOB, not too expensive and huge portions. Had takeout from there many times, their romano chicken is outstanding! We decided to eat in & were there this evening. The place was packed with apparently only 4 people handling the crowd. It did take a while to get our food, but when it got to us, it was hot, fresh & delicious. While their service was slow, it was not because of a lack of effort - your runners were amazing! Cucina would get 5 stars if they could get their act together in terms of their service. Their food is so good, we love the vodka sauce, the drunken grandma pies, rice balls, etc. the list goes on! But a few times I've called to place an order and they don't know what it is (like the sassy grandma pie) so when I pick up, it's incorrect; they made me the correct pie but I had to wait another 15 minutes and wasn't offered anything for the mistake.. Another time we ordered delivery and it took 2.5 hours (was not told it would take this long!) and my poor toddler was waiting for dinner and every time we called were told 'it's on the way'. Their food is quite good. But the people working there are not. They get the order wrong frequently and are often stumped by their own discounts. This is our go-to place whether it is picking up and order to go or dining in. We live about 20-30 minutes away but do the drive for the great food! We had a dinner party of 16 and they accommodated us every step of the way - we were able to have our own section and our waitress staff was awesome! Food was delicious and extremely reasonable. This isn't the first time we were there and previously the food was delicious as well. The owner is reachable if anything needs to be decided on and is extremely accommodating with anything you request. Next dinner party there for sure! We tried it for the first time recently. The serving staff is very young and kept wanting to remove our plates before we were done. I found my dinner to be good but salty. My companion said that his chicken Marsala was ok. The ambiance is fine. All in all it was ok. Nothing really wrong. Nothing was exceptional. Haven't tried their entrees yet but their pizza is incredible. I think it's personally better than Franks. I had the plain which was a little greasy but it was light and didn't make me feel awful. Crispy crust too! Their buffalo chicken was topped woth ranch and bacon and was not overwhelmingly spicy. And their prices are unbeatable. Not even $7 for 2 slices and a water. Complete whiff here. Tried to order, even early mind you, to beat the rush. No dice. Order placed at 4:55. Called at 6:30 and was told they were still working on the order (it was salad, soup and a chicken parm dinner). So we'd be looking at near 2.5 hours to delivery. When I called they said "the person you talked to should have told you 90 minutes, but I ordered through the app which said 55-65 minutes. An apology for the screwup? Unfortunately, no! We ordered salad and soup and a pizza. After a while the pizza came out of the kitchen. However it came out before the soup and salad. We notified the waitress and told her not to bring it because the pizza had already arrived. She said she couldn't cancel it because they already started making it! I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she was the manager. I told her don't bother putting it on the check because I'm not paying for it. That was the end of any contact we had with this waitress during our visit. While eating the pizza the waitress/manager slipped the check onto the table without saying a word or asking if we were enjoying our meal or if we wanted anything else. So happy to welcome this new addition to Oakland!! Love the ambiance..modern industrial decor. No trace of the old Oakland Pizza!! Food was delicious and fresh. We had the mini rice balls with vodka sauce for appetizer, very tasty creamy. The lasagna was so good and the linguini with clams was perfectly made with lots of garlic (as requested) and were generous with little neck clams. Dessert was their home made tiramisu was so good and wonderful. Huge compliments to Anthony who is in training but he was already doing a great job like a pro!! We had to call three times looking for the food; each conversation they contradicted changed the story. I ordered eggplant parm, eggplant rollatini and tortellini en Brodo soup. I ordered through a delivery service. Both entrees were good, but I felt lacking in cheese on top. Neither mentioned anything about coming with a side salad or pasta, as most places usually include one or the other. There was no way to comment on the order either so I waited to see what arrived. There were no sides, so I feel the price for the portion size with no side plus skimpy cheese made the prices a little high. I have to say.. Cucina 347 is a top notch Italian restaurant. Their vodka sauce is spectacular!! We used them for Christmas catering this past Christmas and the food was amazing! Just order a bunch of takeout yesterday and have to say every time we order it's awesome!! Chicken Parm Vodka was awesome... the serving size are perfect! Chicken is really good quality. Just had our company dinner for 32 people at Cucina 347 and it was fantastic! Guy, the manager, was extremely gracious and very accommodating as we called with only a few days notice. From the moment we began planning, he and his staff went above and beyond to help us put together a wonderful evening for our guests. Our server, Emma, was lovely and so fun to work with. All of our guests raved about the food! Everything came out piping hot and fresh! Love the decor, and the vibe is so great...definitely hit the mark of what we wanted! I've placed orders here and on multiple occasions, my order has been wrong. I ordered a pie with toppings and got a plain pizza instead. If I wanted the pizza with toppings I would have had to wait 30 more minutes to get another one made. The delivery takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. I always have to go pick it up because of the wait. Simple orders when picking up even takes 45 minutes. Another time I ordered the roasted sausage, hot peppers, potatoes, & broccoli rabe appetizer and was disappointed. There was barely any sausage in there and was mostly broccoli rabe and potatoes. They have the nerve to charge $15 for it. I don't mind paying that but the dish needs to be full and there needs to be more sausage. This place is a ripoff, they can't get simple orders correct, and it takes forever for delivery. read more

I love this place ... great food and so easily ordered. Their Lobster ravioli are out of this world. Everything I've ordered I have never been disappointed. For lunch I love their salad with craisins and walnuts. Since I don't like salad greens, they easily accommodate with a substitution of Romain lettuce .
