My friend and I are always looking to try new places so we decided to give Cenzino a go on a Saturday night. I will admit, we discovered this restaurant because it was featured on a certain Bravo reality tv show...if you catch my drift :) It was quite busy for a Saturday night so I would recommend you make a reservation. They have an extensive wine list and also have a full bar if wine isn't your thing. The menu is pretty extensive and offers a wide variety of options. We started with the meat and cheese board which was just as perfect as you would expect it to be. My friend had the pork chop special and I had the salmon. Both dishes were flavorful and cooked perfectly. No one tried to rush us out after our meal while we finished our wine which I always appreciate They have free valet service which is especially nice on a cold night. All in all, we had a very nice experience.

Another FLAWLESS experience at Cenzino! Wow! Came here last night with another couple - snagged a 7:30 reservation. Service - excellent! Ambiance - beautiful. Food - fantastic. We all tried different things on the menu, including some specials, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was full and very busy, but that didn't take away from the amazing and kind service. They truly care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience. This is easily one of our new favorite restaurants in the area! SO GOOD. Came here with a couple friends for dinner and everything from start to finish was excellent. The ambience is really pretty - we chose a table tucked away in the back so it was private, quiet, and relaxing. Service was flawless - our server was warm, helpful, attentive and professional. Now for the food: so good. We all chose pasta dishes and they were delicious. Shared 2 desserts and each had a glass of wine. Flawless experience, and would definitely come back and recommend!

Overpriced and underwhelming is the only way I can describe this place. Drinks were excellent and so was the salad. But dinner missed the mark. The fish had bones in them, which is forgivable but not at this price. The sides for the fish were piped mashed potatoes and some vegetables. This could have been elevated to a whole different level with roasted potatoes with lemon and rosemary or something like that. The veal osso buco needed about 6 more hours to be soft and falling apart. Flavor was just okay. The ambiance was fine. There is live music on one side of the restaurant on Friday nights, it's that your jam. Service overall was okay. The waiter was friendly enough but we waited for menus for awhile.

Not understanding some of the poor and mediocre reviews. This was my first visit, so I didn't know what to expect; it was my friend's choice for her birthday dinner and I was happily surprised that everything we had was fantastic. We were seated immediately upon arrival, greeted warmly by hostess and server, and given not only a bread basket with whipped butter, but also complimentary bruschetta. For drinks, my friend opted for a glass of Chardonnay. I had a Makers Mark Manhattan up. We were very happy with both. We shared two appetizers, a colossal shrimp cocktail and a crab cocktail. Both were lovely. We shared a pasta special, linguine with clams, shrimp, crab, arugula, and fresh tomato. It was perfectly cooked and split into two separate plates in the kitchen. We then shared an entrée of Branzino, which was more than plentiful for the both of us to share, was served with roasted potatoes and zucchini, and was also separately plated before service. For dessert, I had crème brûlée. If I had to give any critique of the entire meal, it was that I prefer my crème brûlée a little tighter, but the flavor was there and the crunch was there so I was not unhappy. My friend opted for gelato and our server was kind enough to add a candle to it. At the end of the night, after two more glasses of wine for my friend and another cocktail for me, our bill came to $250. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. I will be returning and I'm very happy to have found a lovely local restaurant for birthdays and special occasions.

We made a reservation for 6pm. Parking was easy. We were Welcomed in by friendly staff and seated promptly in the cutest outside set up. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere:-) Our Waiter was very attentive and polite. He was able to answer all menu questions that we had as well, which is always a plus for me! We were immediately served water, bruschetta, fresh butter and fresh bread (a nice touch!) We started out with the special* (home grown) zucchini flowers stuffed with Mozzarella- SO yummy!! Nice light and crunchy, came out hot and fresh. For entrees I had a special which was linguine with shrimp( it originally has other seafoods in addition, but I requested just shrimp) in a light tomato sauce. I also requested some spice - it was outstanding, even down to the detailed shrimps:-) my husband had the ossobuco over risotto. He said it was fantastic, he also loved The bone marrow. For dessert we got the ricotta cheesecake and the bread pudding, which were both equally delicious! Over all our experience here was top notch and we absolutely will be making this a frequent dinner spot!

I went to Cenzino Ristorante in the beginning of April to celebrate my birthday with a small group. We ordered a number of appetizers to share and they were delicious. The only negative to the appetizer course of the meal was the small portion of my date's salad. Otherwise yummy apps. The entree course was equally good however we felt some of the items were missing complexity and could've been brought up a notch to really round out the flavors. All in all a good meal.

The Blueberry Smash was disappointing. Maybe add some missed blueberries if you're calling it a blueberry smash? The decor has a modern rustic vibe and we were sat in the upstairs. Bun also made in house. The homemade pickles had a nice kick, and the haystack onion rings were super crispy. We ended with tiramisu and blueberry cheesecake--both delicious and made in house. I think I finally found a spot where I can confidently get good pasta AND dessert. My partner and I stopped in this week, and we were immediately met with cool, industrial-style decor and a BOMB playlist. The staff was super friendly and helped a lot with specials and recommendations, as it was our first time. For drinks, we started with a Fig & Melon cocktail and their Old Fashioned. Both were great, but I think the old-fashioned wins over the Fig & Melon. It's smoky and sweet, while the F&M was citrusy and refreshing. To start, we ordered the Mozzarella Sticks Di Bar Mutz with Mutz Hot Honey & Sour Milk. Personally, I am tired of hot honey on everything, haha, so this wasn't for me. If they served it on the side first vs drizzled on top, I probably would have enjoyed it more, as the mozz sticks alone were delicious. The breading was more like a garlic bread than the traditional coating. It also comes with extra hot honey on the side. For our mains, we shared the Spicy Rig and Trottole. Again, both are really good, but the Trottole was the CLEAR winner. The short rib was rich, and the overall dish was perfect for the savory lover like me. The Spicy Rig was lighter, and the bite of pasta with basil was excellent. For dessert, we ordered the mile high espresso martini, affogato martini, which had ice cream they make in-house, and the Samoas cheesecake. Every single thing was delicious! It's a good problem to have when you're dining somewhere, and you're battling it out for who has the best dish. Can't wait to come back and bring friends!

I like the open concept kitchen and the music was definitely on point. However , the food was mostly disappointing , I would say. The mozzarella delicious. Butter cake delicious. But all three pastas that we ordered were definitely not worth the price. I was really excited for the spicy rigatoni that I got and I asked the guy how spicy it was. And he said, 2 out of 10, but when I got it, it was definitely 0 out of 10 spicy. He said too many people complained about the spice level. So they dumbed it down, but it just tasted like tomato sauce with no spice at all. Unfortunate. There were a couple of other appetizers or things on the menu I would be willing to try, but I won't be running back to this spot anytime soon. Especially since it was a good distance away from me.

We did finally get drinks and shortly after we're told a table was available. It took quite a while before our waitress showed up. It was good we had something to munch on cause our dinner, 2 burgers and a flatbread, arrived 45 mins later. The burgers were wrong, she said she had 2 Cali burgers. My husband ordered a cheeseburger, I did order the Cali. I took one, they sent the other back for correction. Once I went to eat mine I realized it was not a Cali burger. That had to be returned also. Both burgers were ordered medium rare, they were cooked well done. My friend did enjoy her flatbread. The manager did come by with a half hearted apology. Since we were big fans of those alcohols, we decided to check it out. The walls of the space were covered in colorful murals with Latin American imagery. There were banquettes along either wall with small tables and ottomans scattered in front of them, providing separate, little areas for each group. Large playing cards were fanned across each table with Jack, Queen, King, and Ace cards each having a menu on its backside. There were bar bites, a spirits list, classic cocktails that could be reimaged with your agave spirit of choice (picture a tequila mojito), and even a custom beverages. The creative drinks were not cheap, coming in at around $20 on average, but they certainly were complex! My La Balacara featured Casamigos Mezcal, spiced pear, Luxardo, orange, ginger, chestnut honey, and a chili tincture. I thought the drink sounded outrageous, but, sadly, all I tasted was that honey, the ingredient of which I was least interested. In fact, the smokiness of the mezcal really did not play well with the chestnut honey, leaving it to taste sort of like licorice. I was not a fan. My companion's El Encanto included Casamigos Cristalino, Lillet Blanc, strawberry-lemongrass cordial, guava, and basil, which sounded herbaceous, but really just tasted like a fancy daiquiri. He enjoyed it, but I found it unimpressive. Our drinks were accompanied by a complementary bowl of spiced popcorn, which was delicious. We had come from an earlier dinner, so the snack was as much as I needed. However, the few larger food items that I saw others order all looked great. While I would go back to Perico to try some other items, I felt like I had had better, more affordable cocktails upstairs at Panela.
