We politely asked to move since there were at least seven other empty tables available. They moved us... directly next to a door where wait staff constantly went in and out to the patio. After quite a wait, our server finally came over with a massive attitude that made the experience even worse. The food itself was just blah. We ordered the Chicken Roma and baked ziti. The "toasted bread" was basically bread smeared with seasoning, and neither entrée had much flavor or anything memorable about it. Joined our friends for dinner on a Saturday night. Had a reservation and we were seated immediately. The decor is very nice, feeling like you were transported to Italy. Then we were introduced to our server, Juan. He was excellent. He was very attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We didn't have to wait long before we were enjoying warm , toasty, crusty bread. Juan offered parmigiana cheese for dipping. I tried the eggplant parmigiana and angel hair pasta. My husband had the chicken parmigiana with rigatoni. Although these were the lunch specials, I had half the meal to bring home. The food was very good. We had a latte and cappuccino, as well as a cannoli for dessert. Again, it was very good. Juan did not charge us for the coffees because it was our anniversary, which was very kind of him. The ambiance is wonderful. The attention to detail in the restaurant is amazing. Craving pizza this was it. I didnt think it was going to be amazing but it was. Our server was knowledgeable and seemed like he knew the menu off the top of his head. I have to say Tarantellas did not disappoint. I had the eggplant Tarantella (I think that was what the called it), it was amazing. I usually order eggplant rollatini, but this was way better with the spinach added to the ricotta. My husband had the veal scilliano, he said it was incredible. Kids meals were great too. This is one of my go to restaurants when in Weston. The food is consistently good, service is always on point and they always seem happy to see you. The front of the house manager is probably one of the best in the business. Give the seafood risotto a try. My server Nadia was gracious and friendly without being overbearing. I have not ordered many of their different entrees since I am usually going to re-order my favorite; gluten free pasta with egg plant and mushrooms in marinara sauce. Visited this restaurant with a friend of mine on a Thursday evening, The restaurant wasn't very crowded and since it was a nice evening we decided to sit outside. Our server came over immediately and took our drink order as we looked at the menu. We decided on the Mama's Meatballs for an appetizer and I ordered the chicken Francaise(chicken with a lemon and butter sauce) and my friend ordered the Fiocci All Pera (pasta stuffed with sliced pears in an Alfredo sauce). The meatballs were tasty but not my favorite because they were a little too dense but I loved my chicken Francaise. It was served with a side of pasta that was perfectly al dente. My friend really enjoyed her dish as well. A delicious bread was served with our meals, it was almost like a garlic bread. For dessert we shared the tiramisu. I was actual pretty full from my dinner so I only ate a few bites of it but it was some of the best I've eaten. Finally, the service here was excellent from start to finish.
