Excellent service... warm, relaxed and attentive. Extra points for great team work... while waiting for our last pour another team member came over (unasked, just ensuring teamate was covered while helping another table). We were fine, relaxed and enjoying the moment, but it was not lost on me the smooth support ensuring everyone being served. We had a great experience. Ambiance relaxed and perfect for sitting around enjoying the tasting experience. We sat outside with umbrella covered tables... and had a relaxing nice visit. Also ordered the gouda and crackers for my pleasure. I do think the cheese and crackers could be presented better. The current process is to provide the whole unopened ,packaged cheese and packaged crakers. The positive is that a nice cheese cutter was also provided, so easy to slice. I didn't go inside, so I can't speak to that area. Nice, inviting winery with great service for a relaxed experience. I was at 4 star for the wine, but the teamwork took me up to 5. Thank you, S

Cool find but ultimately just ok to me, as far as wine tasting goes. Smaller winery out in this warm valley, where they tend to grow/showcase Bordeaux grapes like Cab Franc, Merlot and of course Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a small outdoor patio where I think on the weekends they try and bring in a food truck. The day I went the patio was quite filled by 1 pm and many seemed to be locals in the know who just wanted to sit on the patio to eat/drink. I did a tasting and didn't see many of those folks in the tasting area, so they knew the drill. The day we went, they were featuring a 'Barrel Tasting' for $25. I never tasted wine straight from a wooden barrel (young and upcoming wine) so this was a draw for me. And to add value to this tasting, once tasting a young and about to be bottled wine, they would pair it with almost the exact wine/blend just a year older already from a bottle. So you kinda got to see the evolution of this wine. You did this twice in 2 different areas. Quite educational I have to admit. You can also taste a few others from their main tasting panel, so I think I was able to taste 6-7 different tastings total. And I thought that the $25 fee could be applied to a wine purchase but upon looking at my receipt at a later time, I didn't see any line for a credit, just the bottle prices. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I do have a more favorable lean towards wineries that give a fee back if you support them. After the initial tasting, we decided to share one of my bottles on their patio. They'll nicely open it for you and provide nice glassware and some cool water. Perfect. We sat out there for about 45 minutes and it just started to get too warm. It was in the mid 80s in late March. And even though there is some covering out there, there are many chairs that will be in direct sunlight...Livermore sunlight. A bit uncomfortable and may even be dangerous in the heights of summer when this valley can easily reach the 90's-low 100s. So a good out but not a great out. May be a one and done.

    Saturday, July 15th, 2023 - Bordeaux Tasting Flight ($20)

Date: Saturday, July 15th, 2023 Time: 2pm Party of: 7 Bordeaux Tasting Flight (refundable with a two bottle purchase) *2022 Sauvignon Blanc *2021 Cabernet Franc *2019 Merlot *2017 BDX Cabernet Sauvignon *2019 Petit Verdot *Tasting Fee ($20) x5 *2019 Petit Verdot ($41) *2016 RSV Malbec ($65) One of us wasn't drinking, so we actually did 6 tastings. Since we bought two bottles, one of our tastings was comped. I believe the bday boy made a rezzie for this spot. We were celebrating a birthday and this was the first wine stop after lunch. Cuda was the smaller winery of the two we visited that day. Or at least it seemed smaller and quieter. I believe Cuda is known for their bordeaux style wines? I like a good full bodied bordeaux, so was excited to try the BDX cab. Funny enough, we didn't end up getting that bottle, but it was nice to taste it. A good somewhat quiet winery to visit. Wine tasting Dec 26, 2025.

Another great visit to Cuda Ridge. Great service and excellent reds. The 2022 vintages are particularly good. if you go wine tasting in Livermore this is a must visit winery!

They're known for their Bordeaux style wines, with a small but spacious tasting room and ample outside seating overlooking the vineyards. I attended a meetup here with my church and I was served 5 wines for $20. The "2023" Sauvignon Blanc was tart and crisp, the "2021" Malbec was spicy and smooth with a fruity aroma, the "2021" BLK Cabernet Sauvignon was too bold for me, the "2021" Petit Verdot also a blending grape was spicy and smooth, this was the only one on the flight I enjoyed, and lastly their "2022" Casa De Viñas Carménère was a pass for me. I'm not a typical red wine drinker but I like to get out of my comfort zone when trying wines. If you are a red lover and like the Bordeaux style of wines this is the place to go.

Member flight tasting it came with a soup pairing

I went to a Member tasting along with a family member as their guest recently. I've been to Cuda a handful of times now and it's always a nice experience here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and if there's any food offerings they know a lot about it as well! The staff also does an amazing job remembering their regulars, which is a nice gesture. I don't visit as often as some family/friends do but I do notice they remember my family/friends that do! We had the member flight tasting and it came with a soup pairing which paired really nicely with each wine the soups were paired with. The wine here is always tasty! I wish I would have taken pictures of the soups. It has a very cozy neighborly feel to it, I notice it attracts a mostly older crowd of people as well as some family, definitely a friendly vibe. I love the cute tables/chairs they have set up in the outdoor area. Always happy to come here!

A boutique, family owed winery specializing in Bordeaux varieties and blends. This was our first stop on our Livermore Valley exploring. We enjoyed the gentle warm sun on the umbrella shaded patio and tasted 5 wines ($20/tasting) My Favorites were the rose (mainly merlot) and the 2018 Cabernet franc (one of their signature wines). We also tried the 2017 Cabernet which is made in an American, fruit forward style. We were lucky to try both the 2018 Petite Verdot and the estate version side by side and all their richness. As we were hungry, we nabbed cheese and crackers from the cooler inside (help yourself and they will Service was friendly and we enjoyed the tasting and appreciated the lower alcohol style.

Can you order by the bottle or by the glass? Are infants allowed?

Is the outdoor patio area dog friendly?

We do allow dogs on our Vineyard Patio, we just ask that are on a leash. Thank You.

Can you bring your own food to the picnic area?

You can certainly bring picnic and food when we do not have events (some of our events we have a food vendor). We have an outdoor patio, and and inside eating area, where you could picnic. Thank you for inquiring.

From the very beginning, Diane went above and beyond to help me plan this special day. She answered my many questions, worked through every accommodation with me, and made the entire booking process seamless. Her kindness, patience, and genuine enthusiasm made me feel like she was just as invested in the celebration as I was. By the end of the planning process, I had unofficially promoted her to honorary bridesmaid status. When we arrived, Valeria and Kayla were fantastic. They immediately jumped into "surprise mode," graciously playing along by checking us in at the host stand and escorting us to our table without giving anything away. Their teamwork helped keep the bride-to-be completely unsuspecting until she walked into a room full of family and friends. Valeria also accommodated my request to play a millennial throwback playlist, and every hit had us singing along--it was the perfect soundtrack for the afternoon. Our server, Skylar, was equally wonderful. She made excellent wine recommendations, was attentive without ever making us feel rushed, and truly made us feel at home. Even after our reserved time had ended, she warmly invited us to stay and continue enjoying ourselves. What was supposed to be a two-hour brunch turned into nearly four hours of laughter, wine, and celebrating, and we never once felt like we were inconveniencing anyone. The beautiful winery, delicious brunch, excellent wine, and stunning atmosphere were everything I had hoped for. But what truly made this experience exceptional was the people. Diane, Valeria, Kayla, Skylar, and the entire Murrieta's Well team created an experience that felt warm, personal, and genuinely special. Planning a surprise from start to finish can be stressful, but thanks to this incredible team, all I had to do was enjoy watching my best friend's reaction. Thank you for helping create memories we'll cherish for a lifetime. We can't wait to come back!

So I have very mixed feelings about this place. Some things are incredible. Some things are not…read moreso great. I am a member of the "Legends" club. So that to me means it's top of the line membership as indicated by their pricing and what we get. So I feel I should get top notch deals, pricing and service. Turns out, we get the same shaft as the lower club members. Starting with the good, the location is pristine. Nice area with lots of room for kids and adults to mingle and play. The wine is also pretty darn good. Of course there are some better than others but I enjoy most of their wine. The service is also for the most part very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Their food is also pretty darn good. It's not incredible, and a bit overpriced but it's fine enough. Their wine pricing is also fair (but of course with the highest membership we get the biggest discount). My biggest complaints would be the price gouging and lack of communication. We made arrangements on a Friday to show Sunday with 6 and asked for the "VIP space upgrade to lounge or upstairs Vista Patio Lounge (when available)". They said no problem. When we showed on Sunday they said it was closed with no notice. Just a sorry. OK whatever. We sit inside (6 people and 2 children) and they charge for 2 children a "non drinker" charge of $10 ($5 each). A head count charge for non-drinkers? For children? Total nonsense! I am spending over $1,200 a year here and you want to gouge me for someone's kids? Their tastings are $40 a pop which is really crazy. Our price is waived on this so that's fine but if you are not a member you are paying a lot for a little. The wines do take a bit of time to come and they don't give you a lot. Kind of a bummer waiting for the taste. We ended up with 4 appetizers (sliders $24, Charcuterie $25, Tater Tots $12 and Pretzel Bites with Grilled Sausage $16) 2 bottles of wine and $4.25 for water and the bill was over $250. Oh and top that off, with 6 people, they charge a mandatory 20% on the bill for a tip and are basing that with taxes (as the button default), not the actual sub-total so they are actually getting about 23%. All in all, I am not sure that the cost is worth what you get. I mean we are giving them a lot of money just to be members and then having to pay more and more for anything else that really should be included (like water and kids) makes this place just a bit too over-rated for me. Probably end my club membership in the fall and go someplace that doesn't place money first.
