Returning customer over 6 years later so thought I would share my latest experience. Unfortunately it isn't for the better. It was a Wednesday night and our group of 11 had a reservation. The place was PACKED and in the main dining space it was incredibly loud. All good for the business of course but definitely made it hard to chat. The kitchen was of course insanely busy and you could see them working their butts off, but something in their process was busted because not only did we wait a pretty long time for our food, but when it did come out we weren't served all together. About five of us got our food and just about when we were finished eating the rest of the dishes slowly came out...and those weren't even all at once. Even more disappointing after all this was that some of our dishes were lukewarm, if that. Our server was apologetic and thanked us for being patient, so that was nice. Someone further down at our table said she had mentioned the manager may comp us or do something for us, but sadly that never happened. All in all with everything considered we left a bit disappointed because many of us had been here before and had better experiences. What a great experience I had over the weekend! Its a fun atmosphere for groups of all ages and sizes. Our service was great! We started at the bar and played some games before we sat down to eat! The cocktails were fun and whimsical. Once we sat down to eat everything continued to be great, the service, the food and the vibe! This is a very active place. We made reservations several days ahead and asked for the patio, but when we were being seated, the waitress took us to an inside table. After stating that we had made the reservation specifically for the patio and needed the patio, she said "sorry" so we started to leave. At no time did she suggest just ordering from the bar on the patio and sitting at any of the tables that were open (several)! So, a little better training here would be appreciated for those of us who really must eat on the patio. Luckily, one in our group (the attorney) suggested just going to the bar, ordering and grabbing a table, which worked out perfectly! Met up with friends for brunch and asked the server what is the menu options to pick. She did not steer us wrong. The prime rib sandwich by itself is plain, was suggested to add mushroom, onions, peppers and side of horseradish. Saw the meal served to another person without the modifications, it looked like a dropped out attempt of a sad sandwich. So make sure you do that.. The breakfast bowl was the second best choice, the meat was not fatty and the potatoes were crispy, very very hearty. The breakfast burrito was good. The banana bread was tasty, but too sweet. It's better to share then to have as a meal on it's own. Manchego cheese plate was tiny portion, two pieces of cheese and a tablespoon of raisin compote. Not worth ordering. The facilities was clean. The patio and dining area is huge and pleasant space to enjoy the meal. I can imagine it being loud during peak time. Employees are very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Came with my husband with kids in two different cars but my Tesla doesn't have a key card, they valeted my husband's car and I asked if I can just follow him they told me that's ok. Once I'm parked some other guy came over and told me I can't park there because it's valet only even though they can't valet my car without a Tesla keycard, so he asked me to leave and park on the street! All locations are a great spot to hang out with friends or even a work get together. This location is no different. Our waiter was great with a big group and people coming and going for a couple hours. Kept the food and drinks coming and was great with water refills. I always enjoy culinary dropout. The Gilbert location is my favorite. Depending on which one you go to, I've found the service is very different. I also asked for an iced tea that one location gave me, but phoenix said they didn't have. I pulled it up on the site and they still didn't know what I was talking about. They also charged me full price during happy hour. So I won't go back to this location again. Definitely sticking to Gilbert or Scottsdale even. read more

Of note: the high top red chairs are super uncomfortable and you pretty much have to valet your car, my husband is weird about his truck and doesn't like Valet. Another great experience after my first time a year ago at their Tempe location. Initially I was planning to check out the Old Town Scottsdale location closest to the Nordstrom adjacent to the Fashion Center mall but while eating lunch @ Breakfast Club my server there who used to work at the Phoenix location said this location was very similar to Tempe with the same lively vibe. Arriving at 6 pm on a Thursday, I sat down at the Bar where Sara was my server. Ordered the exact items as my first visit and the deviled eggs as an appie followed by the meatloaf with al dente green beans and smashed potatoes with gravy did not disappoint. Highly recommend both the Tempe and this location. The Scottsdale one that I mentioned is much smaller as I was told. read more

We had a family outing for our first time last week; when you pull up; you will receive complementary valet parking & we only had to wait about 10 minutes before being seated for a party of 6. The restaurant is very spacious for indoor & covered outdoor seating for eating, drinks & playing games. We food consists of but did not take picture's of all: fried chicken w/ biscuit & sides, French toast w/ cinnamon apples, fried chicken w/ biscuit & eggs, nachos & wings. Our only suggestions would be: for the nachos to make sure the creamy nacho cheese is evenly distributed on every layer of chips & toppings & for the French toast bread to be a little thicker & come w/ 1 side. Man I can't say enough amazing things about this place. It's my current fave restaurant and anytime we have people visiting I suggest we eat here! I love the whipped feta tahini dip this can be an appetizer or my main meal sometimes. It is absolutely amazing. If I'm really hungry I'll grab the turkey sandwich it's smoked with pretzel bread, so amazing. To drink: Paloma spritz with the Himalayan sea salt?! This place is located on South of Bethany Home Rd on the SE corner of 7th St and Montebello. They do have valet parking and you enter from Montebello. There may be other places to park but we used the valet. When you walk in they have a check in desk for this place as well as The Yard. There is alot of seating but it is crowded so I would recommend making a reservation. When someone walked up, it was 20 minutes for any table. Alternatively you could go to the bar where it is first come first serve. They do have TVs and the seating is comfortable. Service was very good, they did forget one beer once but they were busy so it was ok. They have several options for drinks. Despite being busy the food did not take long and you did not feel rushed. The 36 hour ribs (see photo) were a specialty (2 stars on the menu). They were very tender and tasty (see photo). It did say jalapeno on the menu but they were not spicy at all. The pretzel buns appetizer were very good. We also tried out a few other things (see photos), all were as expected. Serving sizes were good as well. Not too big but enough. Very comfortable place to hang out. Pretty busy though so again recommend reservations on the weekend. read more

I went here back in May for Sunday brunch during a girls' trip and we loved it! We sat outside on the very large and cute patio. There was a band playing inside which was really cool. I didn't get pics of everyone's food but everyone loved what they ordered. I got an Asian style steak with black rice and it was delicious! The forced valet is the biggest buzz kill of the entire experience. We have legs and we like to use them. When we left the restaurant to get our car, there was a hoard of people waiting and no defined line for who should be served next. An angry man gestured to us thinking we were cutting him when we were just trying to stand in the shade. They bring the wrong car out, and no one realizes we have not received our car. We have to ask them and there is no apology, just frustration from their end. When they bring it, all 4 windows are rolled down, and we almost didn't recognize our car since we never have them all rolled down. To which I wonder out loud why they are all down and I receive the snarky response "it's 110 degrees out". Sir, it is 85. But I can understand why you would think that since you are forced to run around and pick up cars for people who are entirely capable of walking to them themselves, getting in, and driving away without any help. Then I am forced to give a tip to people who are clearly hating their jobs. Wonder how the summer will go for them. Lots of sweat from them being transferred to everyone's car seats I can imagine. Another frustrating point is people would love to put sun shades up in front of their window to keep it cooler, but obviously a valet attendant isn't doing that. I understand valet on very busy nights, weekends, events, etc to keep the neighbors happy and traffic flowing well, but valet should not be required 24/7. read more

Tried this place with my girlfriend last week and word can't describe how disappointed we were. I ordered the fried chicken and what got was absolutely horrendous. The chicken was so dry it took forever to chew it just to swallow it. In addition, the chicken was just bland, it was like no one bothered to season the chicken. So with the main course being that bad I thought the sides would be better but boy I was wrong. I think this place is too concerned with how things look aesthetically and having an overpriced menu than actually putting out good food. I feel like I wasted my money here. Had to walk across the street to their "sister" restaurant dough bird, after being told "oh they know what's going on" to use the restroom. Dough bird was definitely unaware as they looked at us sideways to use the bathroom. After two hours, the worker said "we can't control the drains". It has a very backyard feel with corn hole, ping pong, outdoor seating, and chill environment. This was my first time visiting this establishment, what I great first impression! the vibes were really high and it such a great balance of upscale dining meets dive bar. At the time my party arrived there was complimentary valet parking. I thought that was a cool. It was Sunday afternoon the playoffs were on the TV's they had billiards towards the back of the restaurant it was very spacey and well designed. I heard that the menu changes every week? Not quite sure how true that is, but on this particular afternoon I had the chopped chicken. Now to my chagrin I thought I was getting a sandwich only to find out it was actually a salad--that was AMAZINGILY concocted! That was the best salad I ever had hands down so much flavor it was PERFECT. The Brussels were delicious as well I just wish they weren't swimming in a bowl of oil at the bottom of the bowl. My son devoured his chicken so I guess that was also delicious and the cocktail was Devine.
