Don't ever use Culligan for service repairs. It is a rip off!! The instructions the salespeople…read moreprovide on changing the water filter on the softener are wrong. Then, when a customer like me calls in to get the proper instructions, you will get rerouted to people who do not know what they are talking about. Then, they will want you to set up a service call for $144. This is just to drive to your house. Then, the technician will tell you how to do it yourself and then you will get charged another $65.90 for a labor charge for doing it yourself. Why can't the customer service people just tell the customers how to do this for "free" over the phone? Because they want you to spend $209.90 on instructions they should have given you for "free" when buying this very expensive system. Here are the proper instructions, so you do not have to waste $209.90. Proper Instructions for Changing out a Water Filter for the Blue Canister hooked up to your Water Softener: 1). Close hot water valve. 2). DO NOT close cold water valve. 3). DO NOT PRESS THE RED BUTTON on top of the blue canister!!! 4). Run hot water out in sink. 5). Unscrew blue canister. Remove and replace water filter. 6). Screw blue canister back on. 7). Turn on hot water valve. 8). Run hot water. Check for leaks. DO NOT PRESS THE RED BUTTON on top of the blue canister!!! If you follow these instructions, it will not spray all over you or the wall or the floor! Also, don't buy your salt or filters or accessories from Culligan! They are too expensive. Just go to Meijer or a Menards and it will save you lots of money!

They also completely refuse to acknowledge any requests and fail to follow up to any response they have. Please god do not ever, ever use this company for anything, because you will regret it. They did contact me a bit ago telling me that I had not returned the water cooler, to which I responded that I would wish to buy it. They told me that I would get an email in which I could use to pay for the machine. They never did send that email. I'm still waiting for it. Tomorrow I'm gonna call that debt company and give them an earful.

Our company has been using this company for an office water cooler. We went without water delivery…read moreMarch, April, and May but were still charged for water exchanges and delivery fees. I called to complain on 5/19 and was told our account was being transferred (no previous warning) and they couldn't help or start a ticket. This was after being on hold for about an hour, so I requested to speak with a manager to request a call back and sat on hold another 20 minutes to be disconnected. I called back 5/20 and sat on hold for over an hour before the phone was answered. I was informed an adjustment request to refund the erroneous charges would be processed within a week and a no charge pick up would be scheduled to collect our 15 empty bottles of water. I called back 6/5 to be informed the adjustment request was never entered. I was sent to a supervisor who gave me a confirmation number and assured me that it had been processed by her. That supervisor then scheduled a unit pick up for 6/10 and promised to call me on 6/11 to complete the closing of our account after all this trouble. I sit here now on hold (57 minutes and still no answer) because we just received our monthly statement with NO refund of the billed services that were NEVER completed in March April and May, the free delivery fee that WAS indeed charged to our account, and for water delivery that was not supposed to happen as I had requested for the account to be closed!
