I've been to the original Lazy Daisy long time ago so I was super stoked to check this one out in Mar Vista walking distance from my new place. The place is rather small, but the outdoor patio is adorably decorated. Service was good, they were attentive and brought out our items quickly. The portions are pretty big and the price was also equally decent. We ordered the CA burrito and it was massive. Also the pancake special with turkey bacon and over easy eggs. I ordered an iced matcha, it was ok, nothing too crazy. Parking is street only, but there's plenty of parking on Jefferson, so a short walk before and after a big breakfast was ideal. There was some parking on National but it was a little tight. I recommend going to Jefferson where there are more houses and park there instead and walk to the restaurant. read more

Super cute and yummy cafe perfect for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I had their white daisy omelette and it was super light and paired really well with the avocado. This was an accidental find after a failed attempt to checkout a new spot in West LA/The Grove area and pivoted to find a brunch spot. Honestly I had no idea where we even were but can now say we've been to Mar Vista! This place is on a busy street with a cute outdoor seating and on a nice day, it's the perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. As with every brunch places we've been to, I always have to try the pancakes! He ordered a sandwich and we shared everything. Yum! Service was great even on a busy day. Parking was a bit challenging but we found a spot up the street which was a nice walk back to our car. Overall, cute little place that I think is popular with the locals. Happy eating! read more

Very cute brunch spot but the overall food and service was just okay. The waffles were cooked well with a good amount of fruit but it wasn't very memorable and came with packaged butter. The eggs Benedict had a lot of liquid from the poached egg and the slice of ham felt very flavorless. The hashbrown was crispy but it definitely came from frozen. Service was nice and friendly: although it took us a while to flag someone down to order, the food and service afterwards was prompt and efficient. I ordered a breakfast burrito (chorizo as protein of choice). The chorizo was flavorful, with a slight kick to perk your tastebuds. Portions were huge, and I opted for roasted potatoes, which were cooked well and fragrant with onions. Burrito was stuffed full of ingredients (eggs, avocado, cheese) as well. While it wasn't the best breakfast burrito I've had, it certainly did the trick to satisfy my brunch outing. Overall, decent establishment at decent prices for breakfast or brunch! read more

Lazy Daisy was such a welcoming atmosphere. After attending my son's Saturday morning soccer game at a local soccer field , my family and I had worked up an appetite and looked for a local eatery that could accommodate our needs. Enter Lazy Daisy. This eatery was the perfect place for myself , my wife and my 2 boys age 17 and age 12 to satisfy our appetites. The menu was full of delicious options and we opted on breakfast foods . I ordered the waffle breakfast and my sons and wife ordered the pancake breakfast topped with fresh strawberries, eggs and also a nice serving of your choice of your favorite protein option on the side. All came out hot , savory and ready to be devoured which we did. This establishment did not disappoint. The service was exceptional. In addition to being checked throughout our dining experience on multiple occasions by the staff to ensure we were not in need of anything additional , the waiter even advised my wife on how to sign up for their rewards program which initially offers you a discount on your first meal. We were happy to have chosen this fine establishment to satisfy our cravings and it definitely met our expectations. Should we ever be in the area we will definitely stop by again and try another item from their menu. "Lazy" is the most apt name for this restaurant. Ordered Tofu Bruschetta but, this time, staff was too lazy to include the tofu. And DoorDash refused to issue a refund. Is a Tofu Bruschetta still a Tofu Bruschetta, without tofu? Oh, and they require you to "Add 1 egg" for an additional $3.00, even though the item comes with 2 eggs. They force you to pay for a 3rd egg. As for the eggs, I requested poached, they arrived hard-boiled. EPIC FAIL!!! read more

A friend & I were here recently for lunch for the first time. It was a really great experience w/Samantha. We both had cheeseburgers & fries. Yummy! Recently, I stopped by @eatlazydaisy 's newest location in Mar Vista with my little sister. @eatlazydaisy has always been my choice for best value brunch in LA with their large and aesthetically prepared portions which are all super reasonably priced and carefully crafted from fresh and high quality ingredients. Their menu features basically every brunch/breakfast dish you can think of, with a healthy and delicious spin on traditional American breakfast. This location is definitely my new favorite as well, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well prepared each dish and drink we tried was (especially for such a new business)! Usually a go to place for the neighborhood but was turned away cause they had no available tables. I asked if there was a wait list like any other normal restaurant and she said "sorry no." For breakfast and brunch on a warm day they're quite pleasant, the patio is well-covered and ample in size; the vibe inside is quite a bit more generic. Food is typical American with some Mexican influence, but generally well-executed for breakfast; haven't had the lunch items yet. And service is not bad, at least when they are not busy. This is a small neighborhood cafe. Not a lot of fanfare but the food and portions of food for the price is great! There is a cute patio seating area and indoor seating. Perfect for brunch! As I walked up I was greeted with a smile. My order was placed and food was served fast. You can order and pay via the QR code. They play great music. I ordered the sunrise sandwich which was delicious and packed with avocados, ham, lettuce, tomatoes and eggs. The Salad compliments the meal. For a breakfast/Brunch and lunch cafe, the menu has a great variety to choose from. My chai tea was awesome all by it self. The mosaic table top is a perfect touch to the patio. Found this little spot to meet up for some brunch with a friend. The customer service was something I really appreciated about this place and the food came out quickly and was fresh! Everyone from the cashier to the servers were so lovely. Seating inside is kind of interesting when it gets crowded, but there are a good amount indoors and outdoors. There's really no flavor on anything, I recently took a meal to-go after the first few bites and seasoned and refryed the food when I got home. I wish they would switch who they buy their ingredients from because some ingredients tasted cheap. If you order pick-up they don't package your food well, it all gets placed in a to-go box container and is soggy by the time you pick it up. Location is small but really beautiful, service was great. Food wasn't BAD but it wasn't GOOD. This is where I take family who don't like their food sweet or spicy. Would never take an LA friend. If they bought better quality ingredients and used more seasoning and upgraded their pick-up order packaging this place would be great. It seems as if they try to make their dishes with as few ingredients as possible, which really undercuts the flavor. read more

I love supporting neighborhood-y places, and Lazy Daisy is no exception. The food is good. But the last few times we've gone for lunch on a weekend, the service has been bad because they're clearly understaffed. We had to ask three times for our drinks, we had to ask when our food was coming, no one came by to see if we needed anything at any point, and when no one came to give us the check we went inside to pay. Here's the thing: If you know the restaurant gets extra busy on weekends, you need to hire an extra person. It's not acceptable to let the service fall apart. And it's also unacceptable to let the very nice servers be run ragged with jobs that are too big for the amount of staff that's available. I really hope the owners heed this warning because we will have to (very reluctantly) go elsewhere if it continues. read more

Ephraim had the best customer service. We were the first customers of the morning and received a warm greeting. Both the inside and patio were incredibly clean. The food was fantastic!
