Breakfast was ok I stopped in this morning for breakfast. It is a large place, wasn't busy, the few other customers regulars. I say that because the server knew everybody, carrying on discussions like they were old friends. Perhaps they were. I think it was great personized service. I wasn't a regular and I also got great service. The menu is large. I didn't get a chance to look at it earlier, their website wouldn't open. I just tried it again, it timed out again. They might have a problem. Anyway, in my previous review some years ago I didn't care much for the potatoes, so I wanted to avoid them this time. My first choice today was their Country Eggs Benedict, a biscuit and sausage gravy dish constructed like a Benedict. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it today. My second choice, their Ham & Cheese Crepe. The crepe wasn't that impressive. It didn't look that great on the plate. To me the crepe itself was a little rubbery. Inside were a couple of thick slices of ham. That isn't what you would find in France, but I'm not in France, and I like ham. The cheese part was a sauce in a separate dish. Went there on a Friday for lunch. It was me and one other table. Kind of spooky since it's a big place. Got a chicken sandwich and it was OK. The Parmesan truffle fries were tossed in some kind of a seasoning that was super salty. Couldn't really eat many of them. I hope they make their business doing breakfast because it doesn't look like the lunch crowd could keep them in business. But it was clean and it was OK. She kept our coffee cups full and was attentive throughout our stay. Husband had scrambled eggs which he enjoyed. They came out hot and flavorful. This diner has an eclectic menu of American and various Asian cuisine. One would be hard pressed to not find something of interest on their menu. Shared an appetizer of crab rangoon, which were exquisite -- the cream cheese and crab were practically of equal proportions and a serving of six could easily be a satisfying meal. I had a montecristo sandwich -- deep fried option rather than grilled as traditional. The jam instead of being grape was strawberry preserves which topped off this meal with mouthwatering delight. Most meals ranged in the $7 to $12 range and the portions were ample. the ice teas were a bit over priced at $3 a glass. But otherwise, I definitely will be coming back for their crab Rangoon and whatever delectable item catches my fancy. read more

On Saturday, January 9th, 2021, I went inside 5th Season Diner and Steak for breakfast. This was about eight o'clock. There was only one patron seated at the counter and a server was knelling on the back counter, attempting to get a large television to function. I waited a few moments for a hostess to seat me. When none was forthcoming, I picked up a breakfast menu and wrapped utensils and seated myself. The server continued to ignore me while working on the television. Three other patrons came in and seated themselves, two at the counter and one at another table. Once the server completed his work, he provided coffee or water to each of these individuals while continuing to ignore me. When he then began taking an order from the customer at the table while still not even acknowledging that I exist, I left the utensils and menu on the table and left. It will be doubtful that I will return even though, because of the proximity to my residence, this had become a regular location for Saturday morning breakfast. This is not how a regular customer is to be treated. read more

Yesterday was my 1st visit to 5th season Diner and Lounge. The restaurant was nearly vacant at 5;30 -6;00 pm. Just two tables, and three customers. The waitress was nice. I ordered take out at the counter. I was extremely disappointed with lack of quality of the food. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and fries. The corned beef was of the lowest quality! It was completely inedible because there was sinewy gristle and fat in every slice. It was impossible to swallow no matter how long I chewed! The fries were tasteless despite the fact the were supposedly flavored with truffle oil and Parmesan. I had to toss my entire meal in the garbage can! The food was so poor I didn't want to risk trying anything else from their kitchen! I WILL NOT BE BACK ! YUCK !! My only recommendation is... do NOT eat here!! read more

Well the service is absolutely wonderful, the front door wasn't even closed before I was greeted by staff. We were seated in a comfortable booth that was clean and prepared with a menu and utensils. Once seated, I was approached by my waitress (Jodi) who was on top of her game and ready for anything I wanted. Of course looking at this menu, EVERYTHING looks wonderful!! I picked the Louisiana omelette which came with some extra goodies!! It was as tasty as it looked. So to wrap this up, Service, food and prices and seriously amazing! Nothing good I can say. We did not encounter a competent, pleasant or reasonable employee while we were there. My son ordered the Wonder Burger it has American Cheese & Swiss Cheese, Sauteed Onion, Crispy Bacon, Mushroom, Jalapeno, Bell Pepper, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle, Hickory Sauce, Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard. He just asked that they leave off the tomatoes and when asked how he wanted it done he said Med Rare. It came out well done with a slice of cheese, ketchup and Tomatoes! His father went and tracked down the waitress because he hadn't received his toast and tell them that it was wrong. After about 10 minutes they take the burger "to fix it" and still NO TOAST. They took the burger cooked it more, out it back on the bun threw some jalapenos on it and brought it back out, now it was like a hockey puck. Whoever was in charge tried a bunch of excuses (new waitress, new cook, the toaster oven malfunctioned) Not one dime was taken off my bill and the staff had zero concern for whether their customer left happy. Seeds were still present. One customer walked in while I was there and said he would order the Shepard's Pie special but last time it was so small he was still hungry. I ordered through bite squad which probably has shaped my review the most. Ordered a lobster roll with truffle fries and green tea ice blended with white chocolate. First, the good: all my food choices arrived at the right temperature. The beverage was yummy and I would order again just to try their drinks. I noticed their menu had many choices. My lobster roll was big. The fries were edible but didn't come off as truffle parmesean fries. Which moves me to the bad. I ate the lobster roll but the lobster rolls I'm used to around here have less of a lobster-salad dripping in mayo consistency and more of a chunks of lobster with a touch of seasoned julienned slaw on a warmed butter/potato roll. To each their own but I just wish the menu was more detailed, I would have ordered another menu item instead. read more
